I agree with you on this, however, money talks, if he had the cash on him up front in the club that night, that could easily lure her out. I just have this feeling she was not going on a promise, I think she was going perhaps to allegedly dance at an afterparty, and the money was given up front. IMHO

I use promise to indicate the hypothetical. In your scenario, the party would have been what was promised.

I believe the account by the Stiletto's dancer is enough to charge MAS with soliciting a prostitute. I don't know what the maximum is for prostitution. But she could post bail on that charge, I'm sure.

Also, just to clarify...Poi balls or Poi dancing is a very beautiful art form. I was taught as a child to Poi dance from my sister who had a career in Hula dancing. I was actually shocked to hear that she practiced Poi and did it as a street performer, have not heard of Poi in years actually.

Assuming the dancer's story checks out with LE. We don't know that it has.

Do you know if they're using dogs?

I hope the case is solved and your life gets back to normal soon, especially knowing that whoever did this thing is no longer walking the streets.

I haven't gone down there but I'm hoping they are combing every inch of that beach!! Someone mentioned earlier about Silver Slipper an Bucaneer State Park area....that stretch of road is dark and secluded, right in front of the park has a parking lot right off the main road. And IIRC its only a sea wall, there is not a beach in that particular section.

i mentioned earlier that i think MAS said in passing one day that she was escorting on and off.

Personally, I don't think JL was involved with it. Yet everything in the quarter is a hustle. It's summertime in Louisiana. It's slow, so offers of money can make people do thing they normally wouldn't do.

What I don't understand is why JL left in the first place. What doesn't make sense to me is that all the locals working in the quarter gets offered things that are too good to be true. Dancers promised money and rings, musicians promised recording contracts, bartenders being promised their own bars, etc. You sort of get numb to it after a while and stop listening. It's not as if the reputation of these two is on a level where you think there is a chance you might get what you were promised. IDK

I'm not going to dismiss the possibility that since the other dancer turned down MAS when she solicited her, that the approach that was used with Jaren was dramatically changed. Since TS and MAS knew Jaren somewhat, they may have known how to approach her without scaring her off.

This may have simply been offering her a ride home, knowing that she would need one. The patrons and staff that night are really the only individuals that would be able to add any insight to this if they happened to overhear the conversation.

Example: former Harrison County Sheriff Leroy Hobbs (google him; Dixie Mafia) needed some serious cash, so he called a hit man to conduct a robbery (for the money he needed after his arrest) on my parents & me in 1980.

Hobbs had been a guest at one of the many parties my parents had at our house (he was a friend!) & told the hit-man we had a MILLION dollars stuffed in a safe (Oh yeah, like I wouldn't have found & grabbed that, right?!)
LONG story short: Mama wrestled with the hit man (after he puut a gun to her head -- she ran, he caught her in another rooms & started to strangle her but mama offered him the diamond necklace that was around her neck... He grabbed it -- then she screamed like a bansheeeeeeee!! & he bolted out the back door.
I've been reading up on all that. I can't believe I never heard about it before now. Crazy crazy ****.

NOW IM NEW HERE AND FORGIVE ME IF I AM WRONG BUT CAN THIS "ERROR" BE USED IN COURT IN HER FAVOR? SAYING PREJUDICIAL OR SOMTHING...? I HOPE I DONT SOUND NUTS!

“It was a big misunderstanding by the jail and the judge because her (Sanchez’s) paperwork with the jail had something in the description about her being detained for Hancock County,” Perrilloux said late Thursday. “But we don’t have any paperwork on that.

“Apparently, nobody actually looked for a copy of the warrant or something that would give Mississippi the right to hold her,” Perrilloux said.

I keep going back to that little clip that they allowed us to see on video.... and it just keeps going through my head .... 17 minutes. From in the door to out the door in 17 minutes. I don't think he walked in there like someone giving someone a ride home. I may be reading way too much into his and her body language. But someone mentioned, he went in like he had purpose, I see that. I think he was on a mission... IMHO

I'm not dismissing the possibility that she may have went with them for drugs as mentioned by someone earlier. I think that might have been a reason to travel to MS, however, they are so common place in the quarter that any local could get their hands on just about anything they wanted pretty easily, why take an hour long ride.

I'm still thinking JL thought she was going to a private party. Yet, either way, I probably would have called home if someone was expecting me. I figure the shift ends at 3ish unless the club was busy, they might stay open. So if they left at 2, it's an hour to MS, hour back. Yet, it's not uncommon for employees to leave work, go to a local bar for food drinks and to complain. "make it locally, spend it locally!" lol yet a private party would probably take an hour to hang out, dance, do whatever, than get back, she wouldn't have been home till 6 or 7. Weird to make that trip without calling. Part of the reason I'm confused. If she was just running out to pick up a package, she would have been home on time, but why when everything is so convenient on bourbon. I'm not saying JL was deep into the scene, but you'd be hard pressed to find a local that doesn't party from time to time.

Unless I misread/misheard what she said, the offer was either/or a) lets go get freaky or b) we have a party you can work. I didnt hear that money was offerred for the first and the second was an offer as a dancer, not a hooker.

Unless I misunderstood what she was saying.

In what little I caught of video both seemed to be smiling and appear quite happy especially MAS, They seemed like they were regulars. I have seen many a persons on missions over the years but the video I saw did not show that. IMHO

That's a key question, I think.

-Why Mississippi? Who or what was in Mississippi?

It's an important part of the puzzle.

I don't know which was mentioned first, freaky or party. I think the party was to pay $700, IIRC. And I probably do not RC.

However, you have to remember what time it was. If her BF would be asleep she may not call. She might figure she would be home in bed by 9 a.m. and could surprise him with the till from the night before. I think that depends a lot on his sleeping habits. He obviously trusted her and her judgement for him to not have issues with her profession and professionalism at her job.

Example, my significant other was supposed to be home from work at one a.m. this morning. I woke him at nine to ask him what time did he work today. He said, ugh you should not have woke me, I did not get in until five a.m., okay....I had no clue. Some couples just don't communicate as well as others I guess....IMHO

I can't agree with you more. I really think JL was targeted from the get-go. I think she was lead away under a false pretense . I honestly feel once she walked out that door her fate was sealed,IMHO

I agree. I don't think there was a "mission". I am aware that 90% of the security cameras in the quarter take a pic every 3 seconds or so, and post the pics back as video, so it could seem that someone was on a fast pace when they weren't. The entrance to Temptations is not very big and who really wants to hang out in the foyer. Especially if you worked there, your first stop is usually the bartender to say hi or get a drink. While the girls are always somewhere, the bartender is a staple that doesn't really go far. They are always in the same place. While talking to the bartender, you'd look around the room for people you know. At least that's what you would see most of the locals doing.

I don't see a mission other than any other guy walking into a strip club with delusions of getting "some".
