What if Jaren went back to the house in Kenner with them, they did whatever - treated TS, yuck! - and she returned to the hotel?

1. Is there always a desk clerk at the hotel? Could she have slipped by?
2. How could Jaren get from Kenner back to the hotel? Could she have been grabbed by someone in route to the hotel? Is there public transportation between Kenner and the hotel? Why wouldn't she call bf then and tell him she was on her way home?
3. I'm just asking questions out loud just so we don't get stuck looking in one direction.

I doubt she was ever in the Kenner house that night. LE wrapped up their search within hours on the Kenner house, if what I saw was correct. I did go bt there since I live within 4 blocks of the Kenner house. i dont think it is the crime scene. It would be silly for TS, MAS and Jaren to drop by the Kenner house and then go back towards the FQ and Mississippi. They were on a tight time frame, i think and it would add an hour or more, just in travel time back and forth.

While there are buses in Kenner that go to Nola, you would have to walk a distance to get to them and it would be a long ride, just not likely in my opinion, she would or should have had money for a cab. Also, I am not sure when the buses run and they may have limited hours. Things have changed a bit since Katrina.

I don't know for sure about the motel but many motels are units that have doors that open to the outside with no lobby to go thru if you don't want to. many have the fire doors open in back and this wasn't a 4 star place so amenities and security weren't at their best.

We're running with the Mississippi 'rumor'. Has it been confirmed that TS and MAS and possibly Jaren were seen together in MS?

The articles I've seen say 'unconfirmed' and state that LE is looking into it if they were spotted or caught on video in MS.

The 2 dancers coming forward claiming to have been propositioned by MAS and TS throws everything off for me. The idea that they walked through the door, propositioned JL w/ whatever plan, got her to agree to leave with them, and actually leave in 17 minutes? It doesn't seem possible. I know someone previously posted that she had asked to leave early - does anyone know when she asked to leave early? Any chance it was before MAS and TS arrived? Where was she at when they approached her? She couldn't have been on stage, asked someone if she could leave early, gotten her stuff and been out of there in 17 minutes....I'm guessing she wouldn't have walked out the door in just a thong, right? It just doesn't seem plausible that MAS & TS just "randomly" picked her up that quickly. I haven't read the 2nd girls story, but according to the 1st girl, MAS was the one doing the "soliciting", but when they walked into Temptations, he made a bee line to somewhere, and she was lagging behind. Something's off to me...IMO

But it has been stated that Jaren knew the man at least...that he had worked with her before. So it would not be that impossible to flag her down and ask her if she wanted to make some quick money...I don't think it was prearranged, or at least it did not have to be.

As far as "driving" to Mississippi--a lot of people commute between MS and LA. You'll see almost as many LA tags in Harrison and Hancock counties as you do MS tags. Especially traveling Hwy. 90. I don't find the possibility of them driving here farfetched, especially since the sites being checked for remains is along a route well traveled between NOLA and MS.

Except they lived in Kenner and had just left Bourbon street @2:00 AM.

If they weren't going to their house in Kenner and they weren't taking Jaren home, there was another destination in mind.

"Driving" to Mississippi isn't the issue. Driving at all is the issue.

Too much time squandered at 2:00 AM for a pointless drive.

LE took several bags of *evidence* from the Sanchez house in Kenner, as well as other items, including what looked like a window screen(?), and searched the area behind the house too. It makes me wonder what exactly was found there and if they took their computer (if they had one).

JL Brother said she wanted to go home (to where her parents/daughter/family was) Was that Tangi or Livingston Parish? This happens to be the same area MAS was from. What if TS said they were going that way and if JL wanted a ride to see her daughter? They could easily head to MS that way instead of getting on 1-12 and heading west.

Also, for you locals is there mullet fishing in Bay St Louis? The reason I ask is those boats are unusual in that they have a big storage box in the center and are pretty wide. A boat like that would go un noticed if that sort of fishing is common.

I still feel strongly about MAS and TS getting paid to bring her to a solicitor and getting out of dodge.

I wonder if the two have some history of visiting that part of Mississippi. If they drove to Mississippi specifically for disposal, they either had a spot in mind from a previous visit to the area or drove down the road until they saw opportunity and then stopped at some random spot. If they visited there in the past, that information might appear on their FB pages. I assume that LE would still have access to their deleted pages and all of the status updates. If they posted something like, "casino hopping in BSL" it would certainly be a clue. So that's what is on my mind right now.

I'm not quite sure when the FB pages were taken down, but if it was after these two became suspects LE may have taken them down to preserve evidence.

Either way, yes, LE would still have access.

I've thought, since her body began coming onshore, that she was placed in the water at some location in MS. Still do. I'm leaning more and more towards possibly the Buccaneer SP. I have a hard time believing she was put in closer to N.O. just because of the fairly close proximity where the body parts came ashore.

I'm not jumping on board the "trio being seen on video in MS" until that has been confirmed or ruled out by LE. However, based on what I wrote above, I do believe all 3 were in MS at some point whether they were captured on surveillance video or not.

Swampmama, thanks for your post re the possibility Jaren may have been offered a ride home, Jaren was overheard before she left early is that she had a chance to make some extra money. I think MAS changes her hair color so often, that she wouldn't need any help, especially at 2:00 am. IMO, their reason was nefarious purposes for luring Jaren that night.

As an aside, it does seem odd that LE needed to release the video to the public. Appears LE did not get cooperation from the door "woman" and others on duty that night before making the video public. Must be a close-knit communiy, all right, on Bourbon Street.

Maybe the killing part was not part of the plan originally...maybe it really was supposed to be a sex thing and Jaren changed her mind, or something else went wrong.

"Pre-arranged" doesn't necessarily mean that they planned everything that happened...just the leaving to go somewhere. I've never been a dancer, but I waited tables all through college. I know it's already been mentioned that the club, bartenders, etc., get a "cut" of what the girls make. I would assume there is a process involved with this, that the girls have to account for their earnings and tip out a percentage....an end of night "close out"...17 minutes? Exactly how I feel about this...it just doesn't add up. There's a part of this puzzle missing and it's probably another person in the mix. Either that, or this was not their first rodeo!

I'm not completely sold on that for some reason. I can't say why.

This information came out after the arrest, not after the video was released, yes? Why didn't these potential victims mention these solicitations prior to the arrests? The video was everywhere.

I might be wrong about the timing, but I just don't feel the reports are solid enough. Too convenient. A frame for the puzzle instead of a piece of the puzzle.

Pure conjecture.

I'm probably wrong. My intuition could be on the blink.

I see, so the body (parts) could have been transported to MS the next day (some time on Weds.) or she could have been killed at a location near there. The head was discovered, along with some clothes, around midday Saturday on Long Beach in Harrison Co., MS. (Or on a beach in the town of LB?)

Saturday AM two pieces of leg were found in Pass Christian (Harrison Co. too).

LE also has the car MAS was driving when she and TS we picked up and there's some confusion over whether or not
LE took a truck from outside the Kenner home. Any word on the truck?

It is a 2001 dark green Chevy Lumina in possession of LE.

Lab results on what was found n the house will take at least ten days, maybe longer, before results are back. LE is in the early stages of investigating these two.
