They retroactively tracked Kyron Hirnan's stepmother, I believe.

It's a pretty neat trick.

Retention Periods of Major Cellular Service Providers

Which Telecoms Store Your Data the Longest

The nation’s major mobile-phone providers are keeping a treasure trove of sensitive data on their customers, according to newly-released Justice Department internal memo that for the first time reveals the data retention policies of America’s largest telecoms.

i too find this strange. not that it really means anything to the case, but i think it's weird that you would miss your sons graduation. not judging, just saying it seems odd

It's really not odd. Ask anyone in the Oilfield. It's just part of our life. I know it's hard to understand and I mentioned it way back in the first few threads. They can't accommodate everyone needing certain dates off. A lot of the crew change offshore is done by helicopter. No company will spend that kind of money bringing men back to shore to have a day off like that. TS isn't atraditional drilling rig worker that works 2 weeks on/ 2 off, he does specialized work. He is a paleontologist and a geologist, I believe. Sounds something came up offshore that he had to leave early Saturday morning to deal with. Right now, my DH is home every other weekend. That's it. 4 days a month he is home.

Good points, great questions!

I was initially very suspicious of BW. I have followed from the first page of Mickeys going missing and BW leaves me with many open ended questions without clear answers.
jmo

It was said here that BW is a tiny guy. Mickey weighed 115 and might have a few pounds on him.

yes, after i thought about it more, i understood. i wasn't thinking about it in terms of him being called out.

Well when MS would leave BW's house (or wherever) at night, she probably didn't call to tell her parents every time she was heading home. She probably also didn't habitually tell BW every time she made it back to her house. (As someone posted earlier, many of us 20somethings tend to think we're invincible and aren't as careful as we should be.)

How firm were these morning stable plans? I feel like - no, BW wouldn't necessarily have started calling her parents if it was a "let's maybe go" kind of thing. Just saying.

Agree. My 40something daughters get irritated with me because I expect updates from them, when I know they've been out or are out under unusual circumstances. It's just me, but they do put up with it!

My husband has a great job, and one that he truly loves. But he has missed some of our kids important events over the years. That does not mean he is not a good father. he is an outstanding father. And it is hard on him when those kinds of things happen.

He was in London when our second baby was born. He needed the job and the timing sucked---but that is how it works out sometimes.

I would not think it is that important to point out that Mr Shunick was called offshore on that fateful day. I am sure it was not his doing.

Agree, but wonder if BW tried to reach MS that morning?

ADDED CHANGES, anything else?

In the CNN transcript the text received is in a different sequence.
BW: "We picked up the food. We drove back here. She ate. At that point, a friend from the venue earlier got in contact with me. My phone died. They then called Mickey, touched base, checked that -- where we were. She told them, I`m with Brettly, went to Taco Bell, we had some food."
And here:
"Yes. You know, she was -- she always had it on. Always had somebody to contact her. And I know -- and that night in particular she had received a phone call from a friend. Also before she left she received a text message, and to the best of my knowledge, she hadn`t mentioned anything about the phone being about to die or anything like that. "

Mickey's Dad knew she was not home at 2:30 when he left for work. That is less than 45 minutes after Mickey is photographed. So from 1:48 to 2:30 someone knows she left and someone knows she didn't make it home.

My next thought is: If none of her friends could get a hold of Mickey with her cell number, did anyone call the house? If BW and Mickey were supposed to go to the stables, wouldn't he have called her family when he couldn't reach her by her cell/FB/IM, knowing she was going straight home and should be there?

Been thinking about people at Artmosphere and how many knew Mickey was going to BW's and then home, alone. I think it was you who raised the question up thread. Apologies if it wasn't.

BW stated on camera that they had discussed that plan. Of course, MS wasn't around when the sun came up the next morning.

adding ~ based on something Lindsayw posted above, is there anybody who might want everybody to think that MS headed straight home?
BW made the horse stable comment in a later interview.

bumping for peeps to read what I added.

I get what you get...

I'm guessing this is where they are going...but hoping not. If you could be there in person with everyone maybe you'd understand better why BW just isn't an option plus LE made it clear he's ruled out.

Factually though - the question asked was who would have wanted everyone to think Mickey was headed straight home and the answer is everyone she hung out with that night, including BW, and her family ALL believe she was headed straight home because she stated several times to several people she was ready to eat and get some sleep for her busy day the next day. So...Mickey wanted everyone to think she was going straight home. Regardless of if she was or not...

bbm. We have not focused much on the possibility that Mickey could have left willingly, b/c everyone close to her insists it was NOT a possibility. With the lack of evidence and no distinct crime scene, it would almost seem like the most logical explanation. What reasons do people have to disappear themselves into thin air, to not be found by people searching high and low?

from a thread way back:
(well that didn't work! that is the post number though)

I would say his video is definitely Kony-inspired.

I want Mickey to be found more than anything! So no tomatoes please. As I am searching for her, and not finding anything, I wonder "Is she near here? Is she in California? Is she in Europe?" I can't imagine being out there searching for my own kids, going days/weeks/years not knowing where they are or what happened to them. I want so badly for her parents, brother, and sister to be able to stop living this way--for her to be found and all their questions to be answered.

Too lazy to go back and find yet another quote I am thinking of, but someone, more recently, said that we should take a step back and look at what's right in front of us, rather than come up with all sorts of wild explanations. When we look at what's in front of us, we see her, we see these cars and trucks, then we don't see her. And we don't see any of her belongings. All we see is POOF! She's gone. Sure there are all sorts of explanations. But what is the easiest one, that we've completely dismissed from the very beginning?

i dont' think so. on nancy grace he didn't say that. charlie said that she called him and he called other friends that morning to see if they knew of her going somewhere after she left his house. he called charlie back saying that no one knew where she was etc.

Nothing to do with MS, but way to much drinking.

Body recovered Sunday at L'Auberge Casino
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's officials report that a man's body was recovered in the water near L'Auberge Casino Sunday afternoon.
He's been identified as 23-year-old Rory McDonagh from New York.

Apparently sheriff's deputies and L'Auberge security had been quietly searching for McDonagh since Friday.

His body was found around four o'clock Sunday afternoon in the water between the casino boat and the parking garage.

Officials viewed security video showing McDonagh early Friday morning attempting to jump from the parking garage and onto a rooftop building

No one witnessed him jump but witnesses told authorities he was very intoxicated and disoriented at the time.

but the bike. the bike was found and her car wasn't gone, so she has to be in someone elses vehicle. if they found her bike at the train station or the airport, then we could wonder if she left intentionally, but whiskey bay? nahhh, someone else is involved here and that someone else is not good, im afraid.
