I personally do not think the truck was involved in Mickey's disappearance.

I think it is also possible that the driver of that white truck has no idea he is being sought for questioning. I know people will disagree with me on that, but depending on circumstances you would be amazed at how disconnected people can be from the world. I mean, I live close to an area where a girl was horrifically dismembered and for awhile LE almost made it seem like it might be a public danger rather than private matter and I would still regularly come across people who were like HUH? What? Some girl died?? when I brought it up.
I just don't see the owner not coming forward yet (maybe?) as an automatic sign of guilt or hiding something or wanting to hide something.

I am still interested in trying to pinpoint the exact location where she went missing (and no, I personally do not believe she died in front of the Circle K like a lot believe). It seems like they should be able to narrow it down pretty tightly and then that would automatically lead to more clues?

oooooo, see if you can get some info from your neighbor. well, i doubt he'll tell u and if he does, u wont be able totell us :maddening:

Doubtful he has much of a (if any) network in that department of the Bureau. He's currently serving as their legal attache' to the US Embassy in Nigeria.

So.......

This could be major revision of the timeline. The distance from the photo on Versailles to the photo at Circle K is about 0.39 miles. This mysterious white truck passed about the same time as Mickey. If it is the Z-71, then he was trailing behind her at relatively slow speed for very nearly a half a mile. Good lord, you think she would be aware of that.
:what: EEK!!!

Guys, I'm not trying to squash ingenuity here but we can't read too much into a reporter's timeline. The text clearly states:
Picture of Mickey on Versailles Blvd at 1:47 a.m.:

Picture of a white truck caught on camera around the same time Mickey was riding. Police want to question the driver of this truck:

Picture of Mickey at 1:48 a.m. on St. Landry:
They are talking about the order of the pictures posted in the article. It says NOTHING about the truck being seen on Versailles in that paragraph.

I think she was, and when she went through the intersection at Circle K, that's when she decided, (if she did, only my opinion), to go down Brashear heading to that spot where cars and trucks can't get to. Crossed over to Cherry then headed on down to St Mary's, after that, I don't know. That's why I was so concerned about the big bus parking lot at the end of Cherry on St Mary's.

OT, but relevant: an accident north of Baton Rouge late last week, 4th DUI survived, he killed 5 people in the other vehicle, one of six still survives and one of the five was brain dead Sunday night I believe. The law will slap his hand and send him on his way, probably with a debit card for use at his bar or choice! Make me sick! I would hate to know that MS's mother would have to become a member of MADD!

i think they hauled him back to jail tonight as the 6th victim died today. at least that's what i heard.

we had this in Baton Rouge too

I disagree. It says "Picture of a white truck caught on camera around the same time Mickey was riding. Police want to question the driver of this truck:" and then the picture of the truck on St. Landry.

Sigh. You could be right. That quote is directly under the description for the Versailles picture on my computer, but that could be a problem with the webpage formatting.

Drat.

Why wouldn't she go into the Circle K if she felt like she was being followed?

Oh well...to me...dark of the moon means when it is to the end of waning...to the point where it is not seen...

And then magick happens ;) and there is a sliver of a crescent...looks like this;

(

and that is a new moon.

It keeps growing and growing (waxing) into a full moon:

O

And then it wanes and it looks like this

)

And then nothing (darkness) until this

( <<< new moon

Just my observation and study of the wondermous moon.

Altho maybe someone was talking about Pink Floyd. ;)

Here is an interesting angle that needs to be looked into.... people close to her need to be asked if she normally STOPPED on her bike to complete a call OR text message. If so, that particular Circle K store would have provided PLENTY of LIGHT for her to do so!

She also may have been braking and or stopping because of the fresh asphalt and not wanting that crap sticking to her tires or chance getting stuck in any way...

Actually LPD has confirmed that there was no atcivity on MSs phone after the 1:30 text she received while she was with BW.

If Mickey had possibly been high...her instincts maybe were not on point and she wasn't that aware of the car. idk.

I'm wondering how stable she was when at a full STOP. AND who might have known that would be a good time to snatch her.
Someone else also asked if she usually stopped for lights or rode thru them.
That would be helpful to know as well...
(I'm thinking while riding alone late at night she might have just kept moving but I dunno!)

Honestly no one knows what she did when riding alone huh??
moo

Tippy toes not stable at all thus the use of my full foot which requires me to lean.

As well if I am turning, depending on the surface I will extend my leg down. For all we know she might of been turning into the lot.

MOO --- I do not think that either the "bump" or the "snatch" occurred at this intersection.

Why go somewhere more remote instead of crossing over the street into the fully lit circle K parking lot, with other people around? just trying to think this through....

~I noticed that the police said today that ALL the forensics were not back on the bike. Does that mean SOME of the forensics are back?

~I confirmed that Equusearch is coming back tomorrow.

~The canine group list all type of search capabilities including live people, dead people, evidence retrival etc. So, not sure if they will doing a global search or specific ones.

Do we know for sure if she had a headlight on her bike?
Was the headlight recovered with the bike? or at all?

High, tired... COULD she have had an earbud in? Listening to music?

What other distractions could there have been?
