the only people i ever see wearing a helmet while biking in LA are those hard core cyclist in skin tight biking suits that probably biked all the way over here from San Francisco or something

We always called motorcyclists without helmets "organ donors."

A few weeks ago I saw a girl downtown riding a scooter/Vespa thing in traffic while wearing only a bikini. No shoes, no helmet, nothing to protect her skin even a little bit if she fell off for any reason. I was like, "Holy road rash!"

I think the paper said that 'the LPD and two other law enforcement agencies are still involved'; that would lead me to think FBI is one of the two other....

Iberville Parish SO, St. Martin Parish SO, & Louisiana State Police were helping with the case as well. I'll go out in a limb and assume Lafayette Parish SO was also helping.

If I could add that in south Louisiana, to some men, maybe even the majority down here, a Z-71 is a status symbol of sorts. Like I have enough money to get the special package... blah blah. If it was an off-road non-Z-71 truck, I would be more likely to buy into the individual needing the off-road capabilities.

Point is the fact that it isn't just a stock pickup truck (premium running boards/pipes), non-factory gas cap cover... may mean this person has nothing to do with a farm or any typical reason for having a 4 wheel drive truck.

Yep, sounds like this person is just really into their truck and has money to spend on it. MAYBE has an actual need, but again -- sounds like a lot of the guys/families I went to school with.

Usually if TES returns, it is because LE has worked out other areas they would like help searching. Just saying, from past cases, this is what has happened. JMO

She was reported.missing on Saturday. 16 he's (correct me if I'm wrong) since she was abducted. Le did NOTHING until Monday.

16 hrs to report her missing.
And about 36 hrs AFTER SHE WAS REPORTED MISSING....for them to do anything at all.

No particular reason provided, but if TES is returning, I would think a new lead has developed. JMO because their services are in high demand, and they generally only work a case when there is something to work with.

This is just my opinion and I understand why everyone is so stuck on the truck, BUT people really need to stop shooting down on other peoples opinions that don't revolve around the truck...the police never once came out and said "heres the truck that took Mickey, you find the truck and you find the person who took her." I just find myself getting annoyed when people call the person in the white truck the "perp"...based on what FACTS?
