I wouldn't rule a "ruse" out---perhaps he was first telling her (at this location Versailles/St.John pic) he felt sick (or drunk) and she kept going, noticing him but kept going. Then he followed her without her really knowing because she took the same bike route frequently and had a noticeable light on front of her bike making her whereabouts easy to see from a distance. Then, (and after the next pic at the Circle K) he played it up more...something like "I am too sick (or drunk) to drive, can you please just drive me to the hospital (or wherever)?" Perhaps she finally felt she needed to help him? Of course, this "ruse" scenario is the type of thing a very organized, experienced, perp would be able to do--sad but a possibility.

The pic at Versailles/St. John is strange if you look closely so that is why I am asking Island for add'l pic with the enhancement by his software.

I didn't "rule a 'ruse' out." You said "then when she went to assist, he quickly changed and grabbed her near his vehicle," which is not possible in the Versailles pic. I agree, she looks like she is stopped (JMO). Honestly I feel like we still no absolutely nothing and all I want to do is Bring Mickey Home.

I don't think it's identical, it doesn't even appear to be a white truck.

I think it is white because when I looked at all of the pictures, the police car is the same color as the truck and the police cars are white.

I am one of the WS'ers who does not look for anything in the pictures. BUT - in this one, everyone keeps talking about someone standing by the car. To me, it looks like a black man laying across the trunk of the car. LOL I have really tried to see what everyone else sees, but I just don't!

Me too! It's like one of those darn magic eye posters! I can't ever see what is supposed to be in them, but they do give me a headache. :banghead:

Ok well the one unmarked car I saw also looked silver to me. But I will admit, seeing the truck here on this video, it does look white but does not look identical to the truck in the MS photos. The truck in the MS photos looks just like the one sitting in my driveway except a different color. This truck in the JL video is different, trust me. Someone here said it's a Dodge, not a Chevy.

Ok so my media inquiries haven't brought forth many replies. KATC responded right away saying LE has told them there are no new developments. BIA says, despite repeated requests for info they have been given nothing (which doesn't surprise, BIA is probably last on their "let's give info to" list). NONE of the other media outlets even answered.

The media needs to get a source(s) within the Lafayette PD. "Leaks" of information are what will keep the case in the spotlight, if LE isn't willing to do frequent press conferences. They don't have to be jaw-dropping pieces of information, but just a little "teaser" will keep interest levels high.

Early on when the first surveilance photos were released i had thought that the front end of the truck looked like a dodge, but with LE saying it wasnt and all the memebers dismissing it as anything other than a Chevy i just gave up on it. Ive been working on cars my entire life, i tend to pick out little subtle lines and features, even in the dark. this may all be just a major coincidence too

It's absolutely not the same type of truck. It's a Dodge, visually very different from a GMC or Chevy (except for the color).

Just wanted to post that since Mickey has disappeared, college aged kids in Lafayette, especially girls, are scared. Our daughter, her best friend, and some of their other friends are leaving Lafayette. Some might say it's an over reaction but they went out last weekend and were watching each other like hawks. They said the anxiety is just too high. Sad and I realize that this does not happen often but they, like we, are saying that there is not enough information and their trust levels of strangers is zero. They are always looking over their shoulders. Our daughter and her friends are devastated by Mickey's disappearance even though they don't know her.

Shelly uses Mickey's 'Circle K' photo as her 'avatar?' underneath it she has 'take back the night.' I'm thinking along those lines. I'm going to contact Million Women Rise in London again. There must be something we can do to increase awareness w/out so much fear. Not sure where I'm going here. Too many 'I's

I don't think they should tell us where they searched, but THEY SHOULD TELL US SOMETHING!! They have insiders accusing them of messing with the crime statistic numbers, corruption, and they do NOTHING to help us help MICKEY, or to help themselves look a little better to the general public.

IMO, I don't trust them. .. and it appears the locals are rapidly agreeing with me. They could have, in the very least, held a press conference so that the MSM could ask questions that they have been contacted about. They tell us to look out for a truck and then issue confusing statements about which truck to look for?? What kind of professionalism is that??

Island--can you post the pic to this forum after you've used your software? I think that if there is a man around that car and MS is on the phone, then my gut feeling that a man used a "ruse" to claim he needed help or something and then when she went to assist, he quickly changed and grabbed her near his vehicle. It's a strange pic without the enhancement done by your software.

I posted the best pics I came up with on thread #25 I believe. How do you post a link to a thread? I will look it up. The pics are on my other PC.

I have a car that is almost identical to that car. Tomorrow night I will take a pic of what I think is taking place by the car and we can compare. To me, it appears that the trunk is open and a man is leaning into or over it. I feel like I can see the hydraulic ? lift on the hatchback.

There is a possibility that they could be involved however, wasn't the video of her in front of the Circle K after this pic?

I probably watched a few too many horror movies in my day, but...the sheer desolation of it is just unsettling.

Hopefully it doesn't become a magnet for blight and crime. I'd hate to see that neighborhood ruined because of the move to a new location.

A place like should either be sold, refurbished and occupied, within a short period, or it should be immediately torn down. Any place like that IS a magnet for crime.

I agree. I think it probably has to do with taking their own values and morals and assuming everyone else is just as trustworthy (in the case of my sister this is especially true). It's naivete, and it's also that feeling of invincibility we've talked about that a lot of young people have.

If uploaded photos are taken with a smart phone, a perp can also get GPS coordinates on where the pic was taken.

Does anyone know the order of release for these pics? (from LE) Maybe it's on the links that a sweet posters keep putting up for us ancien regime-rs? The 'mid-south' is first in chronological order of her movements from BW home? Then the Circle K?

It is my understanding that the pic of her in front of the Circle K was the last she was seen. LE said that she made it as far as St. Landry. I have the story bookmarked but am unsure how to post the link. New iPad that is useless. To me, as far as, means the beginning of St. Landry.

I thought the same thing at first them someone pointed out that he Dodge has rounded wheel wells.
