I posted the best pics I came up with on thread #25 I believe. How do you post a link to a thread? I will look it up. The pics are on my other PC.

I have a car that is almost identical to that car. Tomorrow night I will take a pic of what I think is taking place by the car and we can compare. To me, it appears that the trunk is open and a man is leaning into or over it. I feel like I can see the hydraulic ? lift on the hatchback.

There is a possibility that they could be involved however, wasn't the video of her in front of the Circle K after this pic?

If the black car had anything to do with her abduction, don't you think that since LE already has it it on a cam shot they would be asking for the owner to step forward or would be asking the public for more information? For reasons unknown to us they've not made any mention of the black car but they have asked for more info on the white truck, which is a pretty strong indicator that the black car is not on their radar and the white truck is. Also, if the black car had followed her he would have been seen on the cam at Circle K, or on the cam on Versailles moving on the street instead of parked.

(first time posting a question/thought so I'm not sure if I can say the bands name). Now, JL POI that are being held, the female( M.S) brother is a well known musician from N.O. Now my thought is, could J.L's PIO's traveled to see the band in Lafayette bc of the N.O. connection and her brother well known?? Remember Rolling Stone was to be there, correct.
Not sure what I can type or not, what I can link or not, but I think you should be able to understand my thoughts.....

No, Circle K was the last pic of her. The original theory from LE was that she was hit by the white truck just moments after she was seen passing the Circle K. The driver then likely panicked, loaded her and the bike into the truck and then the white truck turned around and passed the Circle K again. I am a STRONG believer that LE usually has a very good idea what happened right away and their first observation is usually correct. It just takes time and evidence to prove it. I also think that is why it's the only vehicle that didn't come forward.

Of course, anything is a possibility and the people in that car should come forward as witnesses if they haven't already.

My personal thought is that she was hit pretty hard whether intentional or not. It takes a lot of force to hit a bike and bend the rim. They are very sturdy. My hopes are that whoever did this realizes that it was an accident that could happen to any driver and they bring her home. I would like to believe she is recovering in some house and will be returned once they see she is ok. Trying to believe.

Over in Jaren's thread, they're questioning whether Margaret Sanchez (suspect/POI in JL's murder) is truly Paul Sanchez's sister.

Sounds as thought the two in Jaren's case have been out and about in New Orleans most of the time in recent weeks and months...as though they are "regulars" on the main drag. Doesn't seem like they would have to go out of town for victims. Also sounds like they may have coaxed Jaren into the idea of a threesome, if what a witness is saying is true. I don't really see a connection to Mickie being taken off of her bike from another city. JMO

Yes, Circle K is the last pic, I agree and perhaps that wasn't clear in my post on #315? The first pic is Versailles/St. John.
Also, why hasn't the black car been tracked or traced? Easy enough to put up flyers.
Also, didn't A.C.I. say something which would connect with your theory about someone seen going around a bit that night by the Circle K? He said he has 3 POI's he is watching.

As frustrating as it may be to us that LE is not sharing what they have on this case, I believe it matters not to them what any of us feel is "necessary". We aren't entitled to releases updating us on the case. At this point we are simply in the dark as to what they have, what leads they may be investigating, or what confirmation or suspect they may already have.

It is quite possible that if they release information publicly it would jeopardize their case.

There has been no statement from LE indicating the white truck has been 'cleared', so I would assume it has not. They did come forward and say the other two vehicles were not VOI's, so I would assume they are not.

There has been much speculation here about things that are seen by one person and not seen by others in some of the pictures released by LE and the fact is there is no way for us to tell one way or the other. There certainly is no consensus on the matter. However, there has been nothing at all said by LE regarding the black car parked on Versailles.

Just wanted to post that since Mickey has disappeared, college aged kids in Lafayette, especially girls, are scared. Our daughter, her best friend, and some of their other friends are leaving Lafayette. Some might say it's an over reaction but they went out last weekend and were watching each other like hawks. They said the anxiety is just too high. Sad and I realize that this does not happen often but they, like we, are saying that there is not enough information and their trust levels of strangers is zero. They are always looking over their shoulders. Our daughter and her friends are devastated by Mickey's disappearance even though they don't know her.

Are you not in Lafayette but your daughter is there for school?

This is what I have from the dark car picture. I contrasted the figure on the right. It looks more like someone either leaning to the car or he/she looks about to move.

In the second picture, I sharpened the bottom portion of Mickey's leg. She seems to be leaning to the right but looking to the left where the bright light is. If this is the case, it might explain, if indeed the figure on the right is a person, why he/she might appear to be moving towards the road.

It's very hard to work with these pictures because the image quality is poor. Another factor is that Mickey is very fair with light blonde hair. You would know the images of her are in fairly bright light so there is not a lot of contrast.
