I have wondered if she could have been drugged earlier that night, at Aptmosphere. Could explain why she felt bad.
Drugging her might have made her easier to grab.

absolutely. Especially if she was not a "tester" like I was. In fact, riding would have most likely made the effects kick in faster. One of the first symptoms of a drug hitting your body that you are not accustomed to is usually nausea, and the shakes. The first instinct for non users is to eat.

hmm.

Calling A.C.I. -- I thought A.C.I. asked LE and they said there was video of her beyond the point of where she was shown by Circle K.

Perhaps some of you can recall that?

Yikes...I apologize. I think I answered the wrong question.
I would like to know if this is true. I have read just about every news article and have not heard this. I did hear that there were other sightings of her on University but never on St. Landry.

This is my first post, although I have been following every post on this site regarding MS from the beginning. Abduction is one of those things that terrifies me. I am a mother of two children, a boy (11) and a girl (6). I'm the crazy mom who knows everything about the sex offenders list in my area, don't let my kids out of my sight, and have terrible nightmares about someone taking my daughter.

When I heard about Mickey I immediately started following the case. She looks so much like my little girl with that blonde curly hair....it really struck home for me. However, unlike many of you who are so involved (thank you for that), I have been reading these posts with an extremely open mind and wide open eyes. Sometimes, fresh eyes are the secret to any case.... I just keep reading and watching, reading and watching....

K.Jill brings up something about a bizarre post from a new member regarding her being hit and under the sign. I too found this posters posts quite odd, almost out of the blue there were this professed ideas with little else to say prior or after. It just sat wrong with me. And there have been a few of those posts, in my opinion, that I felt simple didn't "fit"....

My hopes and prayers are with the family and I hope that they are able to bring home there daughter soon. I can imagine no worse feeling for their family. And thank you to all of you who have dedicated so much time, effort, and emotion into this case. You are truly angels!

Does anyone know if Abdella saw the video, or just the still shots?

Since I put the question out there, I wanted to provide an answer in case anyone else was wondering. I just confirmed with A.C.I. that Abdella has not yet seen the video. He has only seen the still shots that we have seen.

from Jujube:
Not saying she was hit by the truck but:
1. If she was knocked off of her bike, there may not have been any blood. LE checked with luminol but never reported their results anyway.
2.It would not have to take anywhere near 3 minutes if there were 2 people. Grab and go.
3. The employee was busy with customers, had their back turned, etc
4. 2 am there could be a lull
5.Who said there's no video?
6. You would have to ask them.
7. Because she was hit and taken not left behind. They'd still need to find her.
8. What if the perpetrator turned off? They'd want info.
9. If a bike is bumped, it won't fall apart. There may not have been blood. They could have gone back in another car to check for anything remaining or even parked outside of the camera's range.

That amounts to a whole lot of ifs, and not supported by anything other than blown of photos of reflectors, reflections and shadows. I don't believe anyone stated the LE used luminol at the scene(someone please correct me if I'm wrong). I believe ACI did since the subject of her being run over kept coming up. This doesn't in anyway mean she wasn't run over or bumped and grabbed later on her way home. IMO bumped and grabbed is what happened to her. Even that is only speculation though.

I still think it looks like drivers side door is open Yes the curb is there but it's different. It also looks to me like someone is standing looking over hood of truck from behind door... Maybe only one foot on ground? It would explain the white spot where driver should be. We will all see differently. Come on LE... Throw us another crumb!

There is definitely something going on in this pic. I do know that earlier threads went over ways in which the timing could be possible. Mickey is captured at 1:47. The truck at 1:48. That could only be seconds apart. Particularly if the truck was coming straight through the intersection at a high rate of speed.

I would like to know if this is true. I have read just about every news article and have not heard this. I did hear that there were other sightings of her on University but never on St. Landry.

Early on, Chief Craft alluded to it in his interview with Nancy Grace. Or more like she asked about it (not sure where she got the info) and he tried to avoid/dance around the question, somewhat unsuccessfully. (transcripts on her website - posted here several times, as well)

:please:Here's my Whiskey Bay album:

Guys, from the heart, here, it only takes a few keystrokes to save my links. You're wearing your waiter out over a period of weeks here. Not you - specifically - but the way WS is set up - the blog style - I have spent too much time reposting and reposting and reposting, and I get the feeling no one is opening a little file on their device and saving my links. Sometimes I feel like a waiter at an all-you-can-eat popcorn shrimp night when the 300-pound club rolls in.

Please help me - Truly - I don't mind doing it, but I can't keep doing it week after week. I have big problems with my wrists. It just takes a second to open up Word or something else and save any links you want to save, and you can go back anytime you want.

And the photos are also posted right here:

So save that link to your bookmarks, too, everyone.

Note to Chicken Fried: Just say "no".

But wouldn't there have been blood, skin, hair, etc. evidence there, as well as fragments of her bicycle? I imagine that the pavement would have been scraped as well?

I am not saying that Mickey was hit by the truck because I don't know it as a fact. Google bicycle accidents. Rarely is there blood or skin. Most of the time the bike goes under the vehicle but the rider goes into the windshield or on top of the vehicle. It doesn't even cause that much damage to the bike surprisingly.

Yes, I believe he has heard from more than one source that such video exists. To my knowledge, he has not seen the video himself.

If true, that would sorta render all the "mickey under the truck" discussion moot.

Check the WS interview from two nights ago. I though I heard ACI mention there being footage of Mickey beyond the Circle K.

Since I put the question out there, I wanted to provide an answer in case anyone else was wondering. I just confirmed with A.C.I. that Abdella has not yet seen the video. He has only seen the still shots that we have seen.

Let me add, "to my knowledge" for that statement. Also, for the question about if there was possibly video of her further down St. Landry, that's also only "to my knowledge". If I don't physically see something myself, then I have to say it's simply to my knowledge because I'm only going by what I was told by various sources.

I agree, she could not be under that sign then or now.
I just wish I has asked what the poster was trying to say. Since she could not possibly be under the sign I thought they might be hinting at something else. I don't know what....

Another poster, way back said "the writing is on the wall".
What wall, where? I will go there and read it asap.

I remember those posters - I always suspect those who drop in with a tidbit and then take off. I wondered at the time what they meant.

I understand it's your opinion, but I don't see how you can make anything of detail out of a dark color splotch, especially a human being. I look at that picture blown up and I see exactly what my eyes tell me, a highly pixelated color splotch.

I don't kow that it looks like a person. I see faces everywhere when something is enlarged like this. But something is there because it blocks a partial view of the truck in that area. It's not in the other pics...only this one.

Just a quick question...has nancyanne been verified?

Oh did I ever wonder about that. I didn't want to say anything though in case it actually was, plus I figured everyone wishing her well and prayers might get steamed at me.:cursing:

/Time to get supper ready. Sleuth on Folks.

Also, for whoever may have mentioned or hinted at something along the lines of questioning my legitimacy, I'm verified here. And if you still don't trust that, feel free to visit the Louisiana State Board of Private Investigator Examiners website www.lsbpie.com and look up my investigators license there.

A.C.I., has there been any direct or indirect pressure or intimidation on you for your transparency investigating this case?
Could you describe the obvious differences; positive & negative, in your investigation since the donors came forward, if any?
If you want to share, of course..

I think I can speak for most on this forum, that we have complete confidence in you & your team's professionalism and instincts as an asset to the Mickey Schunick investigation.

I was wondering that as well. I hate to, but it is important.

I posted about how anonymous we are all on here - and anyone can claimto be anyone else. It's sad, but that was the first thought I had - I wish she would have been verified. IIRC, ACI said he had spoken with the family or a family member - not sure. And I really think the Shunick's would appreciate ANY help they can get, so I was surprised by that post. JMO
