I know everyone does things in their own way and at their own pace, but I think family and LE have been awfully quiet for a 22 year old missing under weird circumstances. This leads me to believe they think there was a car accident and they are looking to recover person/vehicle. I know that may not be the case, but if I was an average joe who didn't follow missing person cases - this would garner absoultuely no interest in my mind because of the lack of information and lack of urgency IMO JMO MOO
According to the FB page, there’s just no movement. The family is asking for the public to keep a lookout for Savannah and, from what they’re saying, still trying to figure out new angles they haven’t tried to find her.

I believe the family mentioned there was a search by professionals looking for evidence of where a car could’ve possibly went off the road, but nothing was found. So, based off of that information, I’m not sure they believe there was an accident. Maybe LE believes this is a voluntary missing case?

So many questions, so little answers. Where are you Savannah?

Sadly, I think after a month of no proof of life, she has passed away.
Whether that's through suicide or a car accident, I'm not sure.
However, as her car hasn't been seen, found anywhere, or passed a license plate reading camera, I think she may have been in an accident and the car is covered in undergrowth or submerged in water.

She can't have driven too far, as they were no more debit or credit card transactions for more gas.

MOO.

The FB group is now private. I don't know if a particular event prompted this, but that closes off pretty much the only source of info we were using, since coverage in MSM was very limited.

Savannah's Dad is a Mod on the Page now, along with her sister. The family is still desperately searching and has asked that anyone out there fishing, to keep a lookout on your sonars for large objects that could possibly be her car. Particularly near/around Red River Stoner boat launch. That's the target search area currently, but any body of water in the Shreveport area is possible.

It sounds like they really believe she went into the water. Who else besides Adventures with Purpose and TEQ, perform volunteer searches, particularly involving water?

“I know my sister. We’re best friends. Like we’ve been close forever, our who lives and she wouldn’t just pick up and leave,” said Savannah’s older sister, Kirsten Hale.

“I went to her house and she was not there. Boyfriend didn’t know where she was. He was drunk and went to sleep and he woke up and she was gone.”

Hale then went to the police and reported her sister missing.

“I’m sad. I feel like enough is not being done and I miss her.”

Volunteers have searched along the Red River, looking for any signs of Savannah.

“They went down 23 miles. They did 23 miles of Red River.”

They also searched all of Twelve Mile Bayou Friday with sonar, but so far, no sign of Savannah or her car – a silver 2012 Kia Forte. Savannah was last seen on security camera at the Louisiana Tower Parking garage on Travis Street in downtown Shreveport on May 4, just after 7 a.m.

The area around North Market Street, in Shreveport is rough. There is a lot of crime in that area. Drive by shootings, drug deals, robberies, car jackings and all sorts of crime. An unsuspecting person could end up in a very dangerous situation, very easily on North Market. This would be even more so, after dark.

There are so many bodies of water in that area. This is especially true, if you drive out about 30 mins. The Red River, 12 Mile Bayou, Caddo Lake, Cross Lake, Lake Bistaneau, the Sabine River and many others.

I just hope this young lady is found safe and returns home to her family.

Savannah has been missing since May 4 when family members reported her missing. She is a student at Louisiana State University in Shreveport and is originally from Montgomery Louisiana. Savannah is 22 years of age and is majoring in Computer Science.

If the timeline is correct, it would appear that she left the bar, went to her boyfriend's place, discovered something on his phone, left and got gas, and ?returned to boyfriend's place to confront him? and then her car left and returned to the area where she got gas, and then the phone stopped working. If that were the case, something could have happened to her when she returned to confront the boyfriend.

More likely, the timing at the service station was incorrect and she took off and had an accident of some sort. She would have had to use her debit card to get food at some point if she were voluntarily missing.

Just a few more thoughts. I’m puzzled by the Louisiana Towers parking garage. That’s an office building, from what I understand. I find it to be rather odd that her car was there at that time of morning.

Secondly, I used to hang out in Shreve Square, back in the 80’s. Shreve Square is now called the Red River District. To say the area has declined over the last 40 years, is an understatement.

Fatty Arbuckles is located under the Texas Street bridge, in the Red River District. There are sone rough people down there. A Shreveport police officer had to shoot a guy, under that bridge, that was attempting to take his gun away from him, a year or so ago. There was another Shreveport police shooting, in the parking garage of Sams Town, right around the corner. If they will take on a cop, that has a gun, they will definitely take on anyone else that happens to be in the area.

I just hope this young lady is safe and returns home to her family.

I come back here every now and then. I'm saddened by the fact there seems to be little known not only about her, but her car. I've been to Shreveport many times and lived there when I was in elementary school, but those experiences are long ago and far away now. Still it bothers me to see this in an area I had ties to at one time.

Like you, it bothers me not only that it happened, but it occurred in an area where I have ties.

There are a lot of unsavory characters downtown, in the Red River District and on North Market Street. Backs in the 80’s, there would be hundreds of college students and young professionals hanging out in the area that’s now known as the Red River District. Bands like Molly Hatchett, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Pantera and many, many local bands could be found there on Saturday nights. Today, it’s like a ghost town.

Although I only live an hour away, I don’t go to Shreveport after dark. Even in the daytime, I’m very cautious. You don’t have to look for trouble in Shreveport. It just has a way of finding you. Shreveport is a dangerous place, today. It hasn’t always been that way.

Savannah is mentioned in the news article below. Seems as if her case has slipped off the media's radar :(

Yeah, I saw that on the KTBS webpage, a couple of days ago. Personally, I feel like three women missing from Shreveport, in such a short timeframe, should be front page news every day. I remember a missing lady, in Houston, which is MUCH larger than Shreveport, a while back. It was all over the news, every day, until she was tragically found in her car, in a bayou.

Someone, somewhere, almost certainly saw something and didn’t think it was significant, at the time. News coverage might be enough to jar their memory.

Lastly, I wonder why we haven’t seen this young lady’s boyfriend on tv? That’s troubling to me. Maybe he’s working behind the scenes looking for her. I don’t know.

Regarding your last sentence. I think she was last seen on camera alone at the gas station correct? Then only her car was seen at the Tower P-Lot? Is that correct? I'm thinking through whether he could be excluded, based on what he said happened (passed out due to drinking) and what has actually been proven factually (if anything).

This is a tough one, as there doesn't seem to be any communication coming from LE for Savannah. Based on a couple of other cases I've followed in LA- most recently, Jessica Easterly Durning. I've stated here at WS, if I disappear while visiting LA, I want a team of WS'ers to come investigate and talk to the media. Otherwise I'll never be found ...

I reside in LA. I hope WS is involved if I'm missing or worse. Not all Louisiana has weak LE. Remember Mighty Mick? The case was solved in the Acadiana region of LA.

To answer your questions, if I understand correctly, she was alone at the gas station and just her car was on the parking lot cam, at the Louisiana Tower parking lot. That’s my understanding, based on bits and pieces I’ve picked up from the news media. It’s entirely possible that I’ve missed something.

It’s been reported that the Shreveport police department has a shortage of over 100 officers. That’s a lot. Especially for a city with a population of approximately 190,000, according to the 2020 census.

The police officers are spread thin and work a lot of mandatory overtime. Detectives have been pulled to cover patrol positions. While all of this is going on, new crimes continue to occur. Shootings are a daily occurrence. It’s been reported that gunfire is almost a constant, in areas like Mooretown and Queensborough, at night. All of these comments are things I’ve gathered from the local news.

A first year police officer, in Shreveport makes $35,312. Needless to say, you don’t have a lot of people lined up, beating down the door at SPD, for the opportunity to risk their lives, for the city of Shreveport police department. I can’t say I blame people for not wanting to work there.

The Caddo Parish DA does not have a reputation for being tough on crime. The wishes of the victims and their families are usually ignored. The same goes for many of the judges. Prisons are releasing a lot of very dangerous individuals on parole, that should not be released.

It’s my opinion that all of these factors, when tied in together, create a perfect storm of nasty. Shreveport is a very dangerous place.

I don’t go to Shreveport, much anymore. Just like you, if I turn up missing in Louisiana, I would prefer to have total complete strangers from WS looking for me. I hate to say that, but it’s the truth.

Let’s just hope this young lady is found safe and returns home.

Listen to the Youtube video YaYa linked above. It has information I hadn't heard before, I consider John Lourdan to be a very reliable source of information.

Key points (didn't listen to whole thing yet) - Family does not suspect boyfriend at ALL. Savannah was parked at the Tower for 30 minutes, an employee saw her there. She seemed to be driving aimlessly back and forth in the area near the bar. She had only lived with the bf for a little over a month. BF has made a couple tik tock videos about Savannah (links are under sources in John's video).

I wonder if the info she found on bf's phone was evidence of cheating? Was she circling the area near the bar waiting for someone to get off so she could talk to them? The bar closes at 6:00 AM - just a thought.

I've got to get busy, but I'll be back later with more thoughts. I want to listen to John's video again as I was a little distracted and didn't get to finish.
