After arriving to her home and realizing her 3 children had been alone for days, Tabitha Queens' family reported her missing. According to her 10-year-old daughter, a man had taken Tabitha the day after Mother's Day on 5/10. Police later found Tabitha's car by a wooded area in Morehouse Parish - nearby surveillance video shows a black male was the one to drop off the car. Tabitha's phone last pinged over an hour away in Arcadia

"Detective Captain DeWayne Reed from Bastrop Police Department said they don’t have a location to conduct an immediate search at this time."

"Detective Reed said if the family and friend of Tabitha Queen want to conduct a search with volunteers and set a location, Bastrop police will help."

No fingerprints found in vehicle.

"Lunford said. “We went and looked at the video at the police department. The man was driving her car in a wooded area. He got out with no gloves on. They said they couldn’t find a fingerprint. If he didn’t have gloves, how can you not find a fingerprint?”"

It's not hard NOT to leave a fingerprint. You can use liquid latex applied in a thin coat to the pads of your fingers, drying with a hairdryer after use. Make several layers then dust with baby powder. You can also use super glue on the pads though it's pretty tough to get off even with acetone.

All of this would likely be done intentionally to avoid leaving a print, though, right?

Wondering why a ten year old didn’t call 911. Were they threatened or is it a case of not having a landline and cell phones were taken?
When my kids were younger and people were dropping land lines I kept mine because back then a cell couldn’t be tracked by 911 for location.
Once they could and the kids also had cell phones we kept a “throw away” phone in a kitchen drawer that could only dial 911.

Maybe her children were terrified. :(

MONROE, La. (KNOE) - On June 4, dozens of volunteers searched for a missing Bastrop woman in Morehouse Parish.

Nobody has heard from 29-year-old Tabitha Queen since Mother’s Day.

Her family has been fed up with both the Bastrop Police Department and Morehouse Parish Sheriff’s Office for their inaction in the case.

This reminds me of the Jessica Easterly case :(

I am surprised that the 10 year old didn't call a family member or go to a neighbor after a couple of days. But I also understand they must have been terrified. i wonder if the children had any idea who the man was? Article above says that her phone last pinged an hour from where the car was dumped. Hopefully they have got phone records.

depending upon the quality of the video a thin latex/nitrile glove may be hard to see. They come in a variety of colors and are readily available with COVID precautions. I don’t have any clear ones or natural colored ones to play with on our lab video or I would try it myself.
