Lamar Odom fighting for life after overdosing at brothel

Over the past couple of days, there have been enough pictures of this Love Ranch, but one picture really stood out. I'm guessing it was the front of the building, and there was a lineup of bicycles, are we suppose to believe the girls ride to work on their bikes? And the name Ryder Cherry

Is this going to hold anything back? Seems like he has something for the press every day. Jerk.

OT Those amounts yield serious reward points!

One would think transportation would be thrown in for that price (taken out of Hof's half, of course.) Those two employees, I mean independent contractors, hit the lotto that week.

Not surprisingly, Nevada's brothels aren't cheap. Most have a minimum charge of $150, with some charging as much as $300 minimum, according to Flint. At Sheri's Ranch, which Flint calls one of the state's more upscale spots, the average transaction works out to $900. (Exact prices vary, as providers are considered independent contractors and set their own rates.)

The average sex worker at a brothel will earn about $3,000 a week after splitting the proceeds 50/50 with the house. Some earn considerably more.

I've been reading a lot about the Nevada brothels. Found a forum where they were discussing LO and drugs in the brothels. This one working girl wanted mandatory testing, I think even for clients. She mentioned that she would be stuck at a brothel without a vehicle and if some high as a kite client comes in or starts using, where is she going to go since they are basically located in a very rural area. I don't know if it's just her or all of them don't have vehicles.

Many years ago I went from Mammoth to Vegas (goes through Pahrump) during the night with some friends. Woke up at some point and asked the driver friend if he was ok, not too tired. He mentioned he was passing brothels in the middle of nowhere. So we all woke up, and the next one he passed he showed it to us. Just a mobile home with fencing all around it, surveillance equipment everywhere, big sign of name of place and a sign that said "We only take credit cards." But what was curious was that there was only one car there. So I don't know if there was only one working girl and no clients at that time (maybe it was 2:00 am.) Seems like there would be more than one person there, someone to protect her.

I wondered if some of the girls live there. A separate building or area of the brothel where some may stay?

Hof employs about 550 women across his seven bordellos in Nevada, where prostitution is legal.

At least 150 work at any given time. During peak hours, up to 50 women work at each location, which all operate 24/7.

Some of the women live at the ranches, in single bedrooms with their own private baths.

Others head to the house for limited contracts and leave when their weeks-or-months-long engagements end.

I really found that interesting. Some of those women really look miserable, and some look really rough. Those places really are out in the boondocks.

That is because that is the way the laws were written to keep the brothel business well away from the more populated areas/cities of the state and in those areas/counties prostitution is illegal. It is intentional the way the regulations were designed and are set forth only a portion of counties that can have chosen to allow brothels to operate.

I never watched the trashians show, but I read how many people loved Lamar on the show, and how he was close to Rob ( who needed it). After Lamar and it broke up they( Pimp Momager and family) trashed Lamar on TMZ and any website that would pay them for a story. Pimp Momager hasn't taught them the meaning of love, but she has taught them the love of money. I hope Lamar recovers, heals, pays the *itch off, and finds a good life again, but stay in touch with Rob K.

We will see just how many peeps love him if needs a liver or a kidney transplant. I doubt he would be eligible to be put on a transplant list (because of his alleged drug use). But my understanding a living donor would still be an option.

Further, I am hoping he gets well enough to file a cease and desist to the show and producers et al to use his name in any fashion on that show for gain. At some point there has to be a line to using other people for a gain of that show. It seems anyone they cannot control is thrown under the bus and defamed. LO truly has had his own "brand" that he worked hard for many years before hooking up with the K-Clan. If he no longer wants to be on the show or part of the K-Brand then he should be able to, without being trashed for it.

IMO there has to be a certain amount of gall felt that LO would rather go to a whorehouse and share his feelings with strangers than to stay home and film them for the "show". The ultimate public betrayal. The only way to spin that is...you are a "sick puppy" but we will still take you in.

Then we will see how much "love" exists then.

In my last post I forgot to mention that LO IMO should file the same action against the "brothel" and sue the g strings off them. I believe he had an expectation of privacy and paid for it dearly. The details exposed about his stay and about him are not those gathered by LE and "leaked" but those used by them for profitable gain.

LO has spent enough time in sports to know that the best defense is OFFENSE. He needs to get ahead of any "sex tapes" that may be coming in the future. Drugs was not his only lapse in judgment.

In an interview with Access Hollywood on Friday, brothel manager TJ Moore said that Lamar had all the women at the ranch sign confidentiality agreements on Sunday while also revealing it was phone calls from his assistant that made the basketball player upset that day.

She also said that he had watched an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians while he was at the establishment.

I would love for Lamar to get to a place where he can help others. Use his fame for something so incredibly good, being a figure of hope for someone who may identify with him as a person or simply just his story.

As cliche as it sounds, it really does ring true to - turn your messes into messages.

Lamar Odom was making steady improvement and “doing good” Saturday, days after he was rushed by ambulance to a Las Vegas hospital from a brothel, said a person close to the former Laker and Clipper who was not authorized to speak publicly on the matter.

Odom was texting and “speaking sentences” from his hospital bed, the person told the Los Angeles Times.
