Wait a minute . . . I was sure LE had told (or at least confirmed to) the media early only that J and his father hadn't been interviewed yet because they were away on a Scout camping trip for the weekend and couldn't be reached by phone wherever they were. I remembering thinking it was really, really odd that LE wasn't pulling out all the stops to get to J and his father, because J seemed to me to very likely to have information about things Kyron might have said to a brother but not to adults (like crazy kid plans to go searching for red tree frogs, or a secret hideout in the woods near the school, etc) that could have been very useful when the search was still operating on the assumption that he might have gone off on his own and and be lost/injured out in the brush.

If it wasn't LE telling the media they were away on a camping trip, who was it, and was that party (or those parties) also giving the misinformation to LE? Seems to me lying about the whereabouts of an immediate family member in the first day or two after a young child has mysteriously disappeared is a huge red flag. If that was a lie Terri made up, she would have been caught in it quickly, because I don't believe for a second that the FBI experts (who arrived by Day 2 IIRC) would have been put off so easily from the obvious step of interviewing the teenage stepbrother, nor that all the other family members could have kept the made-up story straight even if they were trying to. The FBI (and hopefully local LE as well) would have been pushing very hard for an exact time and place where J would become available for an interview. Or was LE in on the lie, agreeing to refrain from contradicting family members' statements about it, because the supposed point of it was to protect J from media attention? Had they actually interviewed J already, when Terri's mother was telling the media that it was going to be really hard to break it to J when he got home, that Kyron was missing?

It's getting mighty hard to keep up with the layers of lies in this case . . .

I believe it was Terris mother who said that J was away camping that weekend. However in a interview last week a guy by the name of Tarver ( the first husband i THINK) said that he dropped J off at the Hormans for a week long scheduled meeting on the Saturday. J was collected earlier though because of the furore at the Hormans.

Putting it politely..there does seem to be a lot of discrepancies/lies coming from Terris family and friends.

MOO

It was me, and was immediately recognized by GrandmaJ as pure rumor :) At least the part about who was at TH's house when the first call was made. It would be pretty 'dern ironic, if true, though

Don't have a clue where to locate the link but hasn't it been confirmed Kaine had already left with baby K when the first 911 call was made.. Didn't Kaine move out when TH was being interviewed by LE?

I'm starting to see rumors here again. Vermont= Rumor :nono: UC 911 call=rumor.

You must provide a link. If you can't link to a site you cannot name the site or discuss what you read on the site. That is called "baiting". Make sure what you are quoting came from MSM.
WS is not a rumor site.

I think that part is confirmed, the part that was rumor is who Terri was complaining about when she made that call and/or whether any particular person or people were present at her house at the time.

Sorry. I'll edit out that last paragraph.

At some point they'll have to make an arrest, if for no other reason than to finally stop having to keep track of all the things they're holding close to the vest.

Hi. I swore I saw a post from someone that TH had called LE on an undercover cop (UC), but I can't find it again.
Well,I'm not touching this one.I usually run with things. But I will back off this for now.

I'm starting to feel that my family may be considered poor! We do not have a landscaper, lawn man, or anything of the sort. My husband does ALL of the mowing in this household!

I think there is a difference in a real landscaper and a plain old yard man who just mows and trims the edges a little.

But... I think I'll tell my husband he has to landscape the yard from now on... maybe it will make him feel more like doing it!!

Or all the people's lives who might be in jeopardy if she's as murderous a mind as news is saying.

My DH snapped some photos of me reading Websleuths yesterday.

Thought I'd share them.
Yup, it was one of those days.
please ignore me peeking in the middle shot.

I hope her teenage son is under some serious protection (including from himself, if there's any sign he's at risk in that department). That poor kid. Imagine growing up in an extended family like this one. Sounds like things were pretty sketchy for many years before Kyron disappeared, and have since zoomed to almost unbelievable new heights of bizarreness. The teen years are tough for most kids, even under the best of circumstances. I can't even begin to imagine how I would have handled it if I'd been in the situation he's in at age 16.
