As much as I hate MS... I'm sure he's sitting now fuming knowing that DM had cooped up plans to make him the culprit for all his crimes.

I'm sure while DM sat in mourning for his father he was busy concocting a motion to pin that also on MS.

So sad my inlaws live 5 minutes away from CN house... I take my daughter to school off a street right there :(

Don't shoot me......I see M1 for DM.....especially after today.....but I'm not sure about MS (and I KNOW I was on the fence for M1 with MS during the TB trial....and I was wrong, wrong, wrong). I believe MS knew about the murder after the fact and absolutely helped dispose of her body.....but I'm not seeing M1 here.....even after the Crown has finished. Anyone else have thoughts?

**ducking to avoid getting things thrown at me**

To me, the casualness of the texts and responses from Smich in the aftermath of a murder he never saw coming seems to undermine the idea that he wasn’t let in on this. He doesn’t seem fazed at all. Is there a single text that indicates any surprise or worry?

1st bold... really? They drove back there to say goodnight?

2nd bold... I can't wait to read the rest of it.

I didn't realize until just now how close DM lived to CN.

Just realized this. DM doesn't say that MM, MS and Laura were doing coke. He says MS and Laura were doing coke. If he's setting up MS, he can't include MM in the story because SHE WASN'T THERE that night. If she'd been there, she could refute DM's story.

So the only people at Maple Gate that night were Laura, DM and MS.

As much as the incinerator video and photos would have been hard on the Babcock's I would venture a guess that today would have been devastating. Finally, you really know that your daughter is dead.

My heart breaks for them.

Dear Tealgrove,

It is heartbreaking.

Praying that love, strength and comfort wrap around them during these difficult days.

During the first trial I believed MS did not plan or murder TB. I got a lot of slack for it from many being in his "camp" etc. even though I don't know him or his family etc.

I wanted to reevaluate after the crown presented this case to see if my thoughts were wrong. At this point I stand by my thoughts that MS did not kill or know of a plan to kill TB. IMO

Also IMO DM killed LB and tried to make it look like he was covering up MS mess EXACTLY like he did with TB. I now have no doubt DM tried to set him up. With the pics, videos and letters and trying to manipulate witnesses to testify to suit his story.

All MOO but it'll be interesting to see how this goes. I really don't feel M1 for MS at this point but then again I didn't feel that way for the TB trial either.

I don't don't think there is enough evidence at this point for first degree murder for MS. I do wonder, though, if the crown left enough room for DM to try and throw MS under the bus which in turn might also lead to further evidence supporting their case against both.

I agree completely.

The Crown's case against MS was weak from the outset and her strategy is to present a strong enough case against DM to force him to testify and implicate MS which in turn will force MS to have to testify where hopefully she can crush him on cross.

A lot of strategy went into these trials along time ago.

I think believing MS is not innocent in this and feeling that there is not enough evidence to prove his guilt of first degree murder are not the same thing.
I don't believe his innocence but I don't think we have seen enough evidence at this trial to prove his guilt.

Ha ha. I think she just likes playing with our hearts. : )

Exactly.
The s
imple fact that her IG account is not private at this point shows what kind of person she is -- she is quite obviously aware that her involvement has garnered a lot of attention and knows that people, en masse, are viewing her account for glimpses into the "inside" -- her mind, his mind, their involvement together.

Her behaviour is just as much attention-seeking as it is "giving the crowd what they want." I have no doubt that she is hyper-aware of the things she posts and knows they are being watched and dissected very closely. She is the cat and we are the mice.

After his letters trying to pin it on his friend, I wouldn't believe a word out of his mouth

One of those "ppl" is definitely Sea Enn. She stood by and allowed two more to become victims of the "DM'n".

Oct 13 5:17 pm Smich texts Millard: "You still gotta keep everything on the low. Cuz ppl kno too much." Babcock Day 13: Falconer testimony

Oct 13 5:19 pm Smich texts Millard: "Everything else has got to stay low. Time to go have one of our chats soon at the titty bar." Babcock Day 13: Falconer testimony

Just sitting here thinking.. I don't think MS had anything to do with killing LB.. although he did help dispose of her remains.. I DO think that MS was the one who pulled the trigger for TB though.. I think it was MS's turn.. maybe after almost a year of bragging in person by DM what a rush it was..it was now MS's turn. Stands to reason that from one of the letters that DM sent to CN was that he was in this predicament for cleaning up Mark's mess.. I wonder now if that wasn't an actual true statement.. LE never would have found out about LB if it wasn't for Mark?? Make sense at all??

MS and LB weren't friends or knew each other IIRC, how would he think his story is plausible?

I always assumed MM was there because Jul 3 around 3 PM he was supposedly going to take a bath with her. Then the next afternoon when DM was on his way back to Maple Gate he texted MS to ask if him or Marlena wantd anything from Booster Juice.

Four letters and two envelopes, Floriani clarifies for the judge. Another exhibit shows a spot that had 7 letters, 1 envelope and several news clippings. #LauraBabcock

I find myself wondering if the details of those clippings will be shared.
I'm highly curious to know what exactly she was clipping and saving.

The letters DM sent -- her keeping them can somewhat be explained away by their twisted, somewhat unrequited love. He sent. She received. She kept.
But the clippings? Whatever they are, she did that intentionally and wholly of her own volition.

I never caught onto that text before. So this is most likely where they discussed and made their plans. No one else but those two around and they can speak freely.

The jury needs to remember this because imo it puts MS into the thick of things.
