I bet anything their looking for the context that DM said “the red bag wasn't the one Laura had when she died.”
What do you mean deezen2pm? Why would that be important,? I don't get it at all.

I was going to say, what if she was drugged before DM got her to the house. That way she’d be quiet.

As for MS not being out front, could it be more for MM being out front and not just MS. Maybe they smoked out front and DM just said in general “don’t be out front”

JMO

I think this also confirms that MS was a lookout for DM that night, and DM wanted him to not be obviously " on the job " out in front of the house when he brought Laura in, so as not to make her suspicious. IMO

ABro, why do you think MM begged Smich not to go on the TB mission? Obviously they had been on many of them before, so what made that one different? The only explanation could be that she had some prior knowledge about what was happening. This girl was present at LBs murder. She was present for her cremation. She was with DM and MS as they returned from murdering/cremating TB. What did she have to tell us about any of these events? They seemed happy? My feeling is that she is telling the truth but that she is omitting anything that shows her prior knowledge.

I don't care what anyone says, if a boyfriend admits to his girlfriend that he has killed and burned two people, she should run and not announce her plans to marry the guy. That in itself shows me the kind of person she is, and those are the kinds of traits that you cannot change in a person. Either you know right from wrong or you don't. But when you are a cute little girl you can fool a lot of people with a few tears.
I suppose it's possible that the only thing MM thought might be different about this theft (TB) is that it involved taking it from the source and that scared he enough to beg him not to go. But I believe she is hiding things.
When many mention her desire to get married to MS, I always wonder, that she actually meant before knowing about murder not after. If that makes sense, maybe she didn't know until around the time DM got arrested.

He didn't say that during the closing statements.

I’m pretty positive that was tweeted by Lisa Hepfner...I recall someone tweeting her back to ask if those were her exact words, and she replied “yes”.

Oh, he said it. I just thought he slipped up and said it during an earlier part of the trial, not as part of his closing statement.

Do you think they are asking about the red bag because that is where DM said when she died? He slipped up when he said that.

Traffic violations are not what Noudga was charged with. The goals of the justice system include rehabilitation. There is little reason to believe that a male in Christina’s situation - i.e. an intelligent university grad with no previous record, who had already served several months in jail, who had initially onerous bail conditions with no known violations, with a supportive family, represented by a top shelf lawyer, accepting responsibility through a guilty plea, and having been accepted into medical school - would not have received the same chance.

Well I think I know that they are not the same thing...way different. I just gave an example of how LE treated me for traffic violations when a man would have been written tickets for the same acts... 50 over in residential, 6 month expired plate sticker, seatbelt just to name a few. This was in regards to Abros write up of how attractive women seem to get away with more. To the point there’s even a coined term for it.

While driving along the QEW late at night I imagine I'm seeing the same thing DM saw so many times. I'm grateful to be alive and imagine DM who will never feel the grip of a steering wheel in his hands again. Never see the lights of Toronto approaching in the dark as snow falls on the windshield of a warm truck cruising along with the radio on. At that hour, he's packed in on his thin mattress (no pillow top for him), with a ceiling light perpetually on. He's looking forward to a breakfast of Tang and boiled oatmeal. He will never again experience the privilege of flight, in his own airplane or helicopter. I hope people write him to tell him about the wonderful things they are experiencing in their lives. He could read them as he chows down on the equivalent of steamed TV dinner every single night for the rest of his life.

The only point that you left out in your reimagining of life as DM knows it.. is that he gets a rush of excitement and euphoria as he recalls the struggle with his victims, the looks of fear and horror when they realize that he is going to kill them, perhaps the sounds of them pleading for their lives, the bang of his gun, the brain matter, blood and limp bodies and the snap, crackle and pop of the Elminator. He will already have that to get him through his days.

If she does not come back to Canada it could mean she will not have to pay the judgement. It would be good if she did not come back here, and if that could keep her out of this country that is a good thing.

Is there concrete proof that she is actually enrolled in a postgraduate program (MD) in a foreign country, or is that simply speculative? In modern times, there are a number of professions which ambiguously fall under the classification of health care, such as Chiropractor, Apothecary, and the like. My Dad emigrated to Canada (before I was born) and graduated from RCPI (Ireland) as a Specialist; I can say with reasonable certainty the examinations required to lawfully practice Medicine in Canada are quite rigorous, would be interesting to see if a Neanderthal like CN could even achieve that.

In fact, it happens regularly. It's so common place it makes my head spin. Even in situations where they aren't accepting responsibility through a guilty plea- men who hold any ounce of privilege or elitism have charges dismissed everyday, specifically sexual assault.

Two of the most positive, uplifting, loving people in the world. Very grateful that LB's loved ones have them for support.

Bravo to the Bosma the family , they wanted to be there during the trial to support the Babcock family but the judge did not want that.
I can imagine they remember what it was like waiting for the verdict.

If it was because he was taking it from the source she had to know details before hand. By the next day she would have been fully aware that Bosma and his truck were missing. Doesn't take a genius to figure that one out.

And Smich supposedly confided in her before the wedding, so she was fully aware at that point. But this is MM talking. Did she get the iPad on July 23rd like she said or on July 5th when she started taking pictures with it?
