A giant step backwards imo. People are less likely to come forward for the greater good if they can expect to be discussed for the sake of discussion - and in an unkind or unflattering manner.

That's what BO said today - very relevant imo.

First of all, none of these people "came forward". During that period when most people would come forward, this lot was scrambling about destroying evidence. Make no mistake, I don't think one of them went to the police, the police had to come to them. Nobody speaks unkindly of witnesses that come forward, nobody. We do however speak unkindly about people that when asked to give a statement, lie.

Possibly. However, I'm still not sold that she is going to school in Poland. Doesn't make sense, as a Polish medical degree wouldn't be worth the paper it is written on in Canada. When the civil case is over and she is named in it , she will be forced to pay it if she has an income. I wonder where she has money to go on trips since she is not working.? I wonder if DM s mother gave her money for not saying anything to incriminate her. In the civil case she could be forced to pay a very big amount of money.

I agree she could have left the country because of the evidence that would be in the trial and it included her and she was afraid. She knows that she did not go to the police with the information about the texts from DM saying he would get rid of Laura. She was even on a group on fb about looking for Laura. Yet she kept all she knew about the texts from DM about hurting Laura and she was in constant contact with DM so not believe she did not know Laura suddenly disappeared. If she had gone to the police about the texts it could have probably helped prevent more deaths. She is skanky to say the least. She thinks she is some kind of upper-class bozo, but she is just scum and always will be.

All of them every single witness that knew DM all are very skanky and just scummy does not matter how they in their delusions views themselves, in reality, their actions are what very low class, ignorant, morons would do. They can try to live with the delusions they ot are not just worthless , but that is in their delusional mind. Just like MB she I believe likes to think of herself as someone who she is not, she has been depicted in most stories about her as a crazy person and a drunk.

There are a lot of questions about JS, how could anybody who was a decent person ever be closely involved with DM. He was doing a lot of criminal things way back. It may have been minor criminal things but that was the beginning for him. I don't believe that all of the people that knew DM did not know of all his criminal activity. He was a shady character for many years he made *advertiser censored* videos at the hangar, I am sure was heavily involved with drugs for a long long time.. JS has kept out of the media but it is suspicious about her, and maybe we will find out more at some time.

That is a perfect way to describe her, used up for sure. I don't know if will ever not be remembered for being connected to a really creepy double murderer so far. maybe triple time murderer. She was very closely associated to him and I doubt her past will ever be free from. Her part to have not told the police anything until they came after her, I doubt will ever be forgotten.

She's spent the past year travelling the globe and now appears to be skiing at Whistler for the holidays.

Doesn't sound like a ruined life to me.

It is a bit mysterious as to where all the money comes from. That's a big lifestyle for someone who just finished school, wouldn't be making much, has a hefty lawyer's bill to pay off, and might currently be doing her MD in Poland.

Her parents are not particularly well off, according to what was stated at her bail hearing, so it's unlikely they're funding all this, especially given they have two other university-age children.

I find the "paid for by Dell's mother" theory hard to swallow as Noudga didn't do anything for Millard unless it helped her first and foremost.

OTOH Dellen really wanted her as a witness but not so much that he would give the Crown a crack at cross examining her.

Do you recall where you read that? If that's true, it really takes the cake. To kill your father, then go out with your mother etc. acting like everything was normal and then taking them home to find the dead body.

That's not how I imagined things - I thought he had probably called his mother before calling 911 telling her that his father had been despondent/suicidal and to make sure she backed him up with that in the police report. But I have no basis for thinking that, because so little information has been forthcoming.

Wow, given the last 10 or so posts - note to self and warning to others -

Don't come forward and speak to LE on any crime regardless of how much or how little you knew the perps, their circle of friends and what they were up to. The public will speak poorly of you for years whether you played a role in the crime or not.

Suspect this is a known fact among many people given the number of unsolved crimes.

I for one am completely disgusted by most of the friends of both Millard and Smich, how they handled themselves in connection with these two murder cases. Most didn't go to the police with what they knew. The majority of the ones who were questioned by police didn't even tell the truth at first. The police had to threaten AM that he would be arrested before he started to talk. Then there are their mothers, Smich's sisters, Al Jennings, etc. etc. If the public including us here on WS speak poorly about them, it is well derserved in my opinion.

These two murders of Tim Bosma and Laura Babcock are very very disturbing. What to me is equally disturbing is the number of people surrounding these two, who knew stuff and did absolutely nothing.

WM likely made the pasta and left the pot on the stove. It was DM who shoveled it into his gob.

Based on the cases of Country Style canned soup and the cases of Goldfish crackers filmed at WM’s house during the police search as well as the comment that he would meet his mom at The Mall for dinner and don’t forget his penchant for dog biscuits, methinks that aviation heir DM did not have the most discerning pallete.

I think we will find out more about Spafford if she testifies in WM's murder trial. In the Babcock trial there were some text messages between DM and AM, where AM asks something like "Where's Jenn?". DM responds in Europe with her boyfriend. So it appears she had a boyfriend and was messing around with DM on the side. Nice. Not surprised.
