Unfortunately it appears that this "drug addict/overdose" story has become the narrative. I have heard several people mention in the last couple days that he was just another celebrity who couldn't handle the lifestyle and succumbed to drugs. You can thank your corporate run media for that. The same corporate monster Prince was speaking out against. Go figure huh? Nothing to see here.... MSM only reports the truth...
And then we have the people closest to him telling us what we already knew over the years. That he led a very clean lifestyle.
Do you see what the media does to us? Do you trust the media? I mean really trust them?
Who do you believe? Those you he loved and cared for OR those he was in a lifelong dispute with?
Wakey wakey people.
Hey I'm behind. But this is a great post.I agree with this. I'll add also that even if someone suffers pain and is prescribed pain meds, they can still accidently overdose. It happens... sadly.
It does not mean that he was an addict. imo . People take too much blood pressure meds, heart meds. etc, and stop breathing; but the pain meds get the stigma.
It's hard to believe that someone with such awareness and vitality became very mortal, way too soon. But sudden things happen.
On Saturday night, Oprah aired her 1996 interview with Prince (when he was the artist/symbol).
He is known for being such a private person but revealed he developed a split personality when he was five years old, felt rejected by his father as to his abilities as a musician, and longed for ten kids, if possible.
He revealed a lot imo. We know there was heartache concerning his child who died shortly after birth.
Dateline aired a special that ended with a beautiful song I'd never heard before about The Cross.
Within the Oprah interview he stated he had hundreds of songs in a vault.
He told Oprah or Larry King he would not release the music from the vault but someone might release it after he is gone. ????
I wonder if he recorded a lot of spiritual music?
Regardless of the genre, who was Prince thinking of when he said someone might release his music after he's gone?
Rtbm and quoting myself here - Another thought, and I do not think authorities have ruled this out at all, is foul play - I've read they are interviewing a lot of people. What could ever be the motive, though? But it is the suddenness of both the plane landing and being alone a week later does make me wonder about that possibility...
Remembering Prince
Ellen took a look back at Prince's first appearance on her show. Watch the iconic artist's visit and performance one of his classic hits.

More about The Rainbow Children Album
"The Rainbow Children is the twenty-fourth studio album by American recording artist Prince. It was released on November 20, 2001 by NPG Records and Redline Entertainment. It was also released through Prince's website earlier in the year. It is the first album released outside of the NPG Music Club to be released under the name of Prince again, as he had reverted to his previous stage name from his symbolic moniker a year earlier."
"The Rainbow Children was released through the independent distributor Redline Entertainment, and was released with minimal promotion as per Prince's wishes, who wanted to focus more on the music and less on the sales factor of the release. It has sold 158,000 copies in US stores as of summer 2007, and an estimated 560,000 copies worldwide.[SUP][12]"[/SUP]

Given all this it makes the appearance of the Rainbow over Paisley Park that much more Amazing
