I suppose LE knows whether or not the neighbor saw Lisa on Monday evening...if she did, they have their timeframe, and if she didn't...well, the parents are not talking with LE, so LE just has to work with what info they learn from others...

If the neighbor did not see her, then I can understand why LE has been focused so intently upon mom as a suspect. And it would also explain why the neighbor has not talked publicly.

It seems to me if she saw the baby sleeping in her crib that evening, that she would have come out and said so in defense of the parents, her friends and neighbors.

Watch for the media to start playing hard ball with the stories that draw the attention of the public. The media knows people get caught up in drama, not saying they will falsely report but here's the reason best I can tell.

We are approching a Neilson ratings month, the more viewers a network can record, the more they can ask $$$ for commercial time. Just sayin...sweeps rating month is soon upon us, best I can tell.

Waves to Quiche :D

2011–2012
27 October – 23 November 2011

Hey Peli!! I think you've hit the nail on the head-- the networks were on them within a couple of days of Lisa's disappearance, a very stiff competition right off the bat. It was crazy. It's a sad day in he11, but I'm glad to understand it a little better... :blowkiss:

Riley Fox case. She was scooped off the couch while sleeping in the middle of the night next to her older brother. Perp entered through unlocked back door.. No one awoke.. 3yr old Riley was raped and murdered and her poor daddy was coerced
In admitting to an "accident" when for 10+ hours he cried SAYONG he did nothing to his daughter.. They finally broke him down to confess it was an accident gone wrong!!

Meanwhile rapist and murderer walked free.. Zellner is The ATTY that won Riley's daddy his freedom back after almost a yr in prison.. The monster finally caught amd matched by DNa left on Riley.. Nightmare of a case and sadly it does happen..

I know I put a lot of stock in what Marc K. feels about these cases, but he knows as well as anyone that the boogie man does exist and does come into homes and takes children, yet he doesn't seem to be buying this story from the Irwins. So that makes me uncomfortable...not saying he is infallible, just that he has been there and he almost always seems to side with the parents in these cases. JMO

Doesn't the FBI have much the same resources as Tim's group?
And seeing how the family believes the baby was kidnapped, they probably aren't thinking about her being "out there" to be found. Wasn't there some sort of "rumor" of their reaction to LE searching the woods so many times? If they are being truthful, they don't seem to believe the baby was taken to be harmed; if they aren't...well they would have their own reason for not wanting additional help in searching. JMO

I'm sure the FBI has everything they have and more. MOO

I heard that rumor too..

I totally agree!

Jumping off your post, all questions and comments below are not directed at you personally..

Don't the family have to call them first then get the ok from LE?

After being burned so bad by CA Tim's group is picking and choosing where they are needed the most, rightfully so. MOO
LE don't want the pubic to search for a reason..After watching the CA trial I totally understand why they don't want "the meter reader" or "joe the plummer" finding a body..it creates doubt and contaminates the crime scene...I'm not saying this is like that crime, just why they don't want some random person poking around. MOO

The LE and FBI are on this,I believe they are doing everything possible to bring Lisa home, they have explored all kinds of directions. They are not giving up on Lisa, long after the public moves on they will still be thinking about and trying to solve this case..MOO

Just because the bald man said it doesn't make it true, though. Some things seem to be added then they spread like wildfire.

Oh I agree with you. I put "would" instead of "does" for that very reason. I am hoping we can get some clarification on the sleeping pills.

When you listen to the video of what she actually said, and then read what the reporter wrote, it's not the same. She never said her husband was returning home, the reporter did. She said her husband drove past him. She did say that her husband wanted her to call LE.

In the later video she clarified that her husband was leaving for work. He called her from the car and said "did you see that?". Sierra1947's Channel - YouTube

Starts about 3:40

Thank you!

The neighbor was also seen, IIRC, outside of her house crying during the initial searches. Once, at the very beginning (she was waiting for someone to pick her up?) and LE was looking in her yard, and again when LE searched/went into her house and came out with bags (the waiting for someone to pick her up could have happened here...but I DO recall twice when she was outside in tears). Given what we know at this point and using my own brand of 'logic', I don't think the neighbor was part of any cover up. But the tears do make me wonder if the neighbor understood in hindsight that something wasn't right at the Irwin home the night they had their box o' wine gathering. I just don't see those tears if the neighbor thinks an outside perp took that little girl and that her friend is being unfairly targeted, IMO...I think she'd be pissed, not in tears (but I'm basing that on *me* and how I'd react). IMO. Etc., etc., etc.

JMO but everyone who has spoken to the media has been ripped apart. Who'd wanna volunteer for that? I do not think it's a sign that their stories don't add up.

I agree that it is unlikely that the neighbor didn't see Lisa. If she didn't, it'll come out eventually, but in the mean time I'm going to work with the "likelihood" that she saw her.

Has anyone asked this neighbor if she, well, her husband saw what house the guy was walking towards and if they know the house, know who lives there and could this have been an occupant? Or if they contacted the people who live in the house where they saw the man walking to see if he was visiting or if they know or saw him?

this was the 2nd case I thought of. The first being Denalves little brother. There is a very real chance the boogieman does exist. Just because it is rare, doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

She has just probably chosen not to speak to the media. She also hasn't came out and said she did not see her.

I missed the report on this. If she hasn't said she didn't see Lisa why do some think it. Was there a report that she didn't see the baby? tia

If a person might end up a witness at trial police doesn't want that person talking to the media anyway.

I guess the Anthony case has burned many ppl as far as speaking in public and IF they have not called Tim Miller I would take this as a sign they dont want to find this child! I dont care id the FBI CIA DEA and every other branch of the armed forces were also involved if I had knowledge he searches for missing children I would have called him the 1st day and offered to give him my house and car and every possession i own to get him to come to my child's aid! If they have chosen not to call him for whatever reason I will take this to mean something very very SINISTER. just saying

I have always been very open to the possibility that a 'crazy' intruder took the baby. It makes sense that someone could have had an eye on the baby, since they were so visible in the yard so often, and since she was drinking out front, and could have been seen as vulnerable that night. Someone who watched could have seen the work truck leaving that night and taken the opportunity to enter the home. I see that as a valid scenario.

However, to me, it hinges upon what the neighbor says about the baby that night. If she never laid eyes on a living, breathing child, then I am going to suspect mom in this. If she did see the child fast asleep in her crib, then I am going to go with an intruder.

Didn't Lisa's mom say (as her latest version) she put her in the crib at 6:40 and didn't see her again?

She has not said anything. So we have no way of knowing what she saw or knows, but I am sure LE does.

I was referring to the neighbor and commenting on the previous posts. Sorry if it wasn't stated very clearly. ty
