I think the media is aggrevated they are not getting the fodder Cindy Anthony was so willing to give them. This equals ratings and so far they are not getting what they want. Perhaps the lawyers have told them not to speak to anyone which is usual in a case like this.

Cindy really was the gift that kept on giving,wasn't she?

I have always been very open to the possibility that a 'crazy' intruder took the baby. It makes sense that someone could have had an eye on the baby, since they were so visible in the yard so often, and since she was drinking out front, and could have been seen as vulnerable that night. Someone who watched could have seen the work truck leaving that night and taken the opportunity to enter the home. I see that as a valid scenario.

However, to me, it hinges upon what the neighbor says about the baby that night. If she never laid eyes on a living, breathing child, then I am going to suspect mom in this. If she did see the child fast asleep in her crib, then I am going to go with an intruder.

This is how I'm leaning as well.

Okay, here's the video of Jeremy talking about the 2 hours. (around the 2:40 mark)

Thanks for the link. :tyou: (is it just me that has messed up graphics with that video?)
I'm pages and pages behind here, so apologies if this as already been said, but this interview...... OMG!!!

I've never seen someone so flippant, passive aggressive and sarcastic like this....oh, actually maybe I have, in a recent high-profile case.

And the similarities in vocab and choice of words was jaw-dropping for me. I thought I was having flashbacks for a minute there. :flashback:

Q: Do you believe she's alive?
DB: Yes aboslutely
~~~~~~~
Q: "What did you say to them when they told you that"?
DB: "That's not possible". <scoff> "I have absolutely no idea where my daughter is. If I knew she'd be with me"
Does that phrase sound eerily familiar to anybody else? :ohoh:
Can someone help me decipher what she says after "That's what 911 is for"? @ 1:44 mark
Also the date on that page is 17th Oct. Is that when the interview was done?
TIA
I was referring to the neighbor and commenting on the previous posts. Sorry if it wasn't stated very clearly. ty
I guess I was thinking that Lisa's mom wouldn't say she hadn't seen Lisa after 6:40 if she knew that her neighbor could contradict that.
this was the 2nd case I thought of. The first being Denalves little brother. There is a very real chance the boogieman does exist. Just because it is rare, doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
Reasonable doubt, or unreasonable spin?
My post probably was not clear. I am trying to read the forum and watch the world series too. thanks.
No, it was me. I didn't even think of the possibility that the neighbor could manage to see Lisa without her mom seeing her. And now I can't even remember what significance this point has. Got to go re-read.:crazy:
This is how I'm leaning as well.
Wouldn't the LE have already arrested or named someone as a POI if she had told them anything about not having seen Lisa? Seems they would have asked her that. jmo
IMO Cindy knew exactly what she was doing from the get-go! she was working her craft and new career via the media as I think she was told by Jose to get out in front of the reporters as often as she could...well we sure saw that happen and I dont hink for minute it was for Caylee's benefit, she knew like we all did that poor Caylee was no longer breathing.
So maybe these folks dont want to be perceived as Anthony-esque. Personally I could care less how I was viewed as long as I got the word out.
That river makes me nervous and I wish they would drain the darn thing! ( I know they cant)
How do 'we' know that. Witnesses are not talking to the media - as it should be.
I think a 9 hour window of opportunity where nobody saw Lisa is indisputable at this time, unless Debbi is lying. We only have Debbi's account to go by at this time. She says she last saw Lisa at 6:40 p.m. Monday, Oct 3. She doesn't say there is anybody else that came to the home that night or that the neighbor checked in on Lisa after Debbi put her to bed; she claims to be the last person (witness) to see Lisa.
Jeremy arrives home at 3:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4. That's about 9 hours where no one saw Lisa, based on all known information. We don't know who took Lisa and when, so the window of opportunity is between 6:40 p.m. and 3:45 a.m. unless/until more information is divulged.
Has anyone asked this neighbor if she, well, her husband saw what house the guy was walking towards and if they know the house, know who lives there and could this have been an occupant? Or if they contacted the people who live in the house where they saw the man walking to see if he was visiting or if they know or saw him?
I am really wondering what house he may have went to.
I am also finding it TOTALLY impossible that we have people who witnesses a man walking with a baby.. One said the man was acting weird, the others say the baby was naked..I mean seriously who doesnt call the police in these cases.. Where are these people coming from.. How many lies are other people telling along with the parents. Its starting to remind me of the twilight zone.
Here is a pretty good article with pics from NBC as well.
Did you know they also had 2 rifles in the house?????
Well according to the first siting, the husband stood in his driveway and watched the man come up the street, walk past him and go off with his back to him. You'd think he'd at least have said something like "hey" since he thought this scene was so strange that he stood there and watched him go by. :waitasec:
I missed the report on this. If she hasn't said she didn't see Lisa why do some think it. Was there a report that she didn't see the baby? tia
No They were wondering why she hasn't came out saying she did see her I was just stating that she hasn't said she didn't see her either.
Didn't the neighbour ever have to use the washroom? It was right across from Lisa's bedroom. Did she ever hear anything? A cough. Anything?
I first heard about Lisa because a friend had posted the Amber Alert on FB. I used to live in a suburb of KC, so it felt kind of close to home. KWIM?
I mentioned it at class that same night to several class mates. Do you know what every single class mate said to me? Basically the sentiment was, why does everyone put out these alerts and start up a media frenzy because it's always the mother or father, usually the mom.
We didn't have any statements from DB/JI yet. However, a significant portion of the public already had their mind made up. Now, as we hear even more information, it becomes too easy to look at all of the information through "the mom did it"-tinted glasses. Everything ends up going through that filter. I also think many in the public, including posters here, are still pissed about the CA trial. I completely understand as I was pissed after that trial as well. However, I believe that some of that anger is being misdirected onto this case.
It could go either way IMO. I'm still on the fence. I agree with IndaMiddle. Sometimes the boogieman does exist and sometimes that boogieman is not Mommy or Daddy.
Anyway, just sad for Lisa and rambling... IMO, MOO :twocents: and all that.. :(
You can all slap me if you want to but I feel it in my gut that baby Lisa will not be found......Praying I am wrong on this... so where will the case go then...probably on the back burner and the person responsible for this will never be caught.....and that just drives me crazy to think they actually got away with it.......like someone else we know who is now living her life in hiding and disguises.........
Unfortunately I think you may be right,there are lots of cases where bodies are not ever found,hoping that baby Lisa is found but it's not looking hopeful right now.
Didnt she need to pee many times when you booze it up? I would think she had to go back in the house to go potty and i would have peeked at the kids cause that is what mom's do.. I havent heard her say this but surely she did and the neighbors would need to go as well...
