HMMM... the first thing that comes to mind is

Can Dr G even determine if a drowning occurred when there was no body, onlyt Skeletal Remains? I'm thinking NO, but I don't know.

Can someone who knows answer that for me, please.

No, you would have to have some soft tissue remains to determine death by drowning.

Well well looks like they're going with the accident that snowballed theory. How does that jive with CA insisting Caylee was kidnapped and is still alive?

bbm
Like the story that River Cruz said George told her about

If the Defense tries to go with Accidental Drowning, How do they then explain Casey's behaviour and actions afterward (duct tape, double bagging, driving around with a dead Caylee in the trunk, disposing of Caylee in a swampy area, partying, lying, stealing..avoiding her family like the plague)
Is this where they will try to bring in ugly coping and psyche issues?

In addition how Cindy would never forgive her. So afraid of her mother.

Today's summary:

Dr. G. Deposition by defense released to TP. Defense is questioning the definition of death at the hands/means of another.

CM asks "What if child drowned in the pool?"

Dr. G responds remains found in bag, duct tape in vicinity of lower mandible. Dr G. can't say with certainty if duct tape covered mouth & nose. UCF doctor schultz? wrote that in his report. Suffocation is a possible cause of death.

Graphic on screen:

Is It Homicide?

Did Duct Tape Cover Mouth & Nose

Was it a drowning?

Tomorrow night: Does one witness' testimony - Evidence was it staged?

:furious: They are unbelievable!!! The defense had to "leak" those depositions!

bbm
I agree

IMO, I think the Staged Evidence accusation is coming from the Defense.

So the Defense is going to accuse who? Kronk or LE of staging evidence? or both? maybe even TES.

:twocents:

Laura swears she was in that area maybe she stagged it for the defense! :floorlaugh: Wouldn't that be something

I wonder why they are asking for the funds for a mental health expert if it was an accident...

Maybe to explain what Casey did afterwards...
SPECULATING
That, perhaps, Brain damage caused her to NOT call 911, but instead duct tape Caylee's mouth, double bagged her, drove around Orlando with a dead Caylee in the trunk, threw her in a swampy area off the side of the road close to her home and then went on to live La Bella Vita with her new boyfriend and avoided her family like the plague...

:twocents:

Especially if the duct tape strips are long enough to go almost around her whole head.

A moron...or a toddler who has been restrained with duct tape and thrown in to drown.

CM's drowning "defense" is actually starting to convince me...now I think it was an intentional homicidal drowning with duct tape. Thanks, CM!:seeya:

Yes, thanks CM for bringing Drowning up and with that, the A family pool and the ladder incident back up...

Seriously. It is like an "AHA!" moment for me. This ties up a bunch of loose ends. It explains the pool ladder being moved and the K9 alerts by the playhouse. I think Casey duct taped Caylee then threw her in the pool to drown. Took her lifeless body out of the pool then layed her by the playhouse before placing her in the trunk of the Pontiac.

I can picture it now..Caylee had a great time in the pool with grandma the night before.
She's crying and screaming for Casey to go swimming like grandma did the night before.
Casey is so pizzed because she's busy texting/talking to her friends/bf trying to arrange something to do that night. Caylee continues to whine and cry as casey desperately tries to contact cindy or george to babysit that night, to no avail. Casey is tired of hearing caylee scream and cry and pull a mini "normal" 2 year old tantrum, and duct tapes her mouth three times, before hurling her up the pool stairs and throwing her in :(

THERE swim..as you want. (casey wipes her hands and walks away)

*heartfelt sigh* poor little Caylee.

I can buy that 'Beach. It also makes sense she taped Caylee's hands, restraining her from saving herself. Maybe even her feet as well.

When do you think she did this? Middle of the night on the 15th? Kinda risky if the 'rents got up. During the day on the 16th? George was home in the morning at least. Do you think he really saw them leave in the morning, made Caylee breakfast, walked them to the car, etc?

Or how do you think this played out?

I know huh? I NEVER thought of an INTENTIONAL drowning scenario until now. ROFL! Thanks CM!

If she ductaped just her mouth and threw her in the pool, she would have drowned. If she ductaped her mouth and nose, she would have suffocated in the pool, but not drowned. Either way, I'm beginning to think that's what happened.

But what I don't get is why she packed her up in numerous layers, threw her in the trunk of the Pontiac - and then what happened. Were her 10 minutes of concentration up?

Why drive around for days with Caylee's body in her trunk? And I won't believe you for a moment if you tell me you think she was having an "OMG - what have I done?" moment, minutes, hours, days....

I have read some posts that reference ICA with brain damage? Can someone clarify this for me.

Me too strawberry and I'm shocked. I guess she could have done it in the bathtub but it would've been more work. Better to toss her in the pool and go back to texting. I'm just trying to figure out the timeline for the murder now.

George may very well have seen ICA leave with Caylee the next morning/afternoon.
Then the moment George left for work, Casey returns. Then starts making plans for that evening. It's apparent that Tony was looking to hook up (she was with him that evening)

Cindy/George were not reachable to confirm babysitting. ICA tried calling them over and over in a flurry of phone calls. She was hell bent on seeing her Boyfriend that evening.

After not being able to reach Cindy/George. I believe casey may have raged at the thought of missing out on another date because of her 2 year old snot nose.

Seems ICA is easily angered judging by the jailhouse video of her imploding at her parents over the slightest of questions.

To me that's an easy one. Caylee was soaking wet. She needed that triple bagging for insurance.

She didn't know where to throw her, so it took some time.

Okay, I'm going along with these lines of thought, but here's my next question.:waitasec:

Not necessarily directed at you jennyb, just want to continue moving your thoughts along, thank you.

Are we all thinking this is what ICA has told to whatever specialists she has been talking to - or are we thinking these are the deductions of the defense team as a whole?

Ah! I think she used the shovel to fish Caylee out of the water. That's all she needed it for and that's why she could return it so fast, although I wonder why the shovel wasn't wet. Well, if it didn't have a wooden handle, was all metal, it wouldn't take more than a few minutes to dry out in the FL sun. I don't think she was ever intending (or even tried for a second) to bury Caylee in the backyard.
