I agree!! I am the proud owner of a rescued pit bull and she is a big baby. My non-shaking chihuahua bosses her around. I rehabilitate abused pitbulls and always cringe when I hear that expression.

My chihuahua is in charge of our German Shepherd so I know what you mean.

As you can see, I am a verified Juanette, so I love Juan. So when I say he comes at his job like a Pit Bull, I don't mean it to be a slam against Pits. Some of the sweetest dogs I have known are Pits. But they are also protective and great guard dogs, just like Juan, protecting Travis's reputation after his brutal death. JMO

I like how the doc told the jury there had been a previous defense team... lol

I also mean it as a compliment!

I'm nervous about her too. But when I think about some of the jury questions today, it gives me some comfort. Those jurors are starting to get pizzed off with it all if you ask me. They are NOT buying this fairy tale, and their frustration with the DT is starting to show. And for some reason Nurmi and Wilmott seem oblivious to that. Note to self - if ever caught for any kind of crime in the state of Arizona do NOT hire Jennifer Wilmott or Kirk Nurmi to defend me. I mean seriously, could the juror questions have been any more pointed? They DON'T BUY IT.

I don't think this DV expert is going to come in now and convince them that she's in any way telling the truth. She'll do her thing and put TA and his family through more disgusting carp, but I don't think the ultimate outcome here will be swayed by whatever she says. Bye, bye Jodi :furious:

The jurors' $12/day payment isn't making them more sympathetic towards Jodi.

Imagine being self employed and forced to listen to this bs for 3-5 months! You would have to file for bankruptcy. Imagine being unable to make your house or car payment for months because of Jodi Arias and her ridiculous defense.

Oh oh... Love when the doc insinuated Juan had scrambled his brain!

Juan had memory issues equal to his own

Doc was a hoot!

They're getting way more than $12/day under AZ's "lengthy trial" statute and they're not showing any signs of wishing they were elsewhere by asking hundreds of questions every opportunity. jmo

My belief is he literally crawled up that hallway in a desperate attempt to get away from his attacker. It would have been an instinctive reaction and when his strength was depleted, he could crawl no further, she slit his throat.

MOO

The quote I was responding to was that Travis was stabbed in the chest first. The poster said it would have been almost fatal and he would have been losing so much blood,he would have been coughing it out his lungs would have been filling up with blood, so wouldn't most of the blood been in the bathroom instead of the hallway? I don't think he was stabbed in the front first I think he was stabbed in the back first that's all.

I don't think Paintr meant it that way.. I believe Paintr is a horse person by their profice pic and name, so seeing that emoticon hits to close to home..

Good Heavens! I really was trying to say that I understood her/his feelings. When we love something it is hard to think of anything bad happening/being said about them. I am so sorry if my post sounded 'off' in any way! :blushing:

The only way the DV expert can help is if she can convince the jury that the killer is telling the truth about Travis being physically abusive. And I don't see that happening. They have failed at that completely.

Like today, when the Doc tried to say that Travis was mentally/emotionally abusive because sometimes he would not call Jodi for a few days at a time. :what: What a crock. Isn't that pretty typical dating behavior? Is that proof somehow that he is an evil abusive male? GMAB.

ain't that hard to get out of jury duty, rather easy actually, those there want to be there just like the ones that go there for free.

I just had to get on here and spew a little rant....

I was anxiously waiting to hear the jurors' questions and then there was a "fire" at work and I had to stop listening to the trial for a couple of hours. I get back to the trial and I hear Dr. S being questioned by JW - and I said WHAT THE CRAP?! WHY IS THIS IDIOT STILL TALKING??? And why is the DT still trying to save this witness? He has ZERO credibility! I couldn't bear to listen any longer!

Really - did I miss anything worth listening to? Sorry for the rant, but I find Dr. S's testimony more painful than even JA's was.

Hmmm lets see, the Travis supporters had to remove their ribbons in the courtroom, his sisters and brother refused to, two women got thrown out because one said (while sitting on the Jodi side) that she wished Jodi was dead.

Then the doc answered the jury questions with the same unbelievable reasoning and justifications, and never got the clue that this jury was exposing him for what he is and were crossing him off their to do list.

JW is up next to go over the doc's answers to the jury's questions. She goes back over each question and then questions on the test and how Jodi answered but he forgot the correct score sheet so he wrote her answers in from memory and might of added something to them, but doesn't see any problem with that. So after he's admitted to falsify Jodi's test results she sits down almost in tears...And then there is a stir in the courtroom and across the world as Juan Martinez stands up and bam it's on. It seems like he doesn't like Juan and got snippy and Juan backs him right down and then another sidebar and court is over..way to soon, but there is Monday court.

OH one juror asked if PTSD could be caused by a bad haircut and Jodi shot the doc the finger on national TV.

I wouldn't necessarily call it easy...I never have an easy time getting out of it. Not all judges make it easy to get out of it during the actual trial either.

Aww thank you Trainfan! I'm usually not that slow on the uptake. You are absolutely right and thank you for taking the time to point that out to me!

Then the doc answered the jury's questions with the same lies and never got the clue that jury was crossing him off their list as a fraud and a quack. Then JW went over every that had been asked and finally sat down after he admitted to falsify Jodi's test scores, and that he is a compassionate fellow, and he's not biased at all.

Then all of a sudden JW is done and sits down almost in tears, and there is a stir in the courtroom and across the world as Juan Martinez stands up and bam it's on. Great summary! I'm recommending your services to HLN. :D
