:seeya: Hello Y'All !

I had a post all ready to go and the internet went out, then I could not connect to WS ... ahhhhhh ... so I will try to remember what I previously wrote !

Anyway ... I haven't posted much this past week, but am keeping up with this circus of a trial ... and THANKS for the updates !

With respect to the Motion that was filed yesterday, is there a copy of this Motion available here ? I would like to read it before I give my :twocents: fwiw ... lol...

I was absolutely :furious: outraged :furious: when I heard about the ribbons this past week ...

I have NO DOUBT it was Jodi behind it ... she is soooooooo jealous of Travis, his Family, his Friends and Supporters ...

Asking the Family and Supporters to remove the ribbons for Travis was Jodi's way of "flipping her middle finger" to Travis, IMO ... she is so hateful and spiteful !

Another thing I noticed that she was "up to no good" this week when sitting at the defense table ... :waitasec: she is always up to no good -- but it seemed more noticeable ... it's about time those cameras focus more on her and they need to keep that "split screen" up all the time ...

But she really stepped it up with her arrogance and shenanigans -- she was moving all those files and notebooks around the defense table -- she was "sneaking" papers back and forth -- popping a pill -- moving that jacket all over her, and putting it over her left arm when she would stand up ....

And WHY didn't the judge do something about Jodi's "mitigation specialist" when she handed that notebook to JA's mother ... :furious:

What is wrong with that judge ? She has to know about this ... good greif -- everyone else saw that "hand-off" !

I tell ya, Jodi is running that courtroom :furious: and Jodi and her DT KNOW that that judge has absolutely NO control over that courtroom -- and because of this pathetic judge, Jodi and her DT are getting away with all of their unethical and sleezy tactics !

I feel soooooooo sorry for Mr. Martinez having to deal with this unethical sneaky bunch ! And I feel so bad for Travis Family and supporters having to watch this bunch get away with all these unethical tactics !

That judge needs to get a grip on what is REALLY going on in that courtroom -- and it is NOT Travis' Family and Supporters causing problems -- it is Jodi and her crew !

Sorry for the "rant" ... I am just disgusted by this mockery of the judicial system that is being allowed in that courtroom !

:seeya: I will catch up with y'all later !

:moo:

The Arias interrogation in which she brings up the intruders, she talks about arriving at Travis', sleeping, trying to view the picture CD's, copulating in the bedroom and the office, and then her explanation of taking pictures in the shower. At that point, she says that Travis was crouched/kneeling in the shower when one of the intruders (first time she mentions one) shoots Travis in the head.

I know what the ME stated, but the body had been manipulated in two ways after his death. One, Travis was dragged into the shower, and his head was upright - I believe that its possible a few things could have happened. Two, the shower was turned on to wash away DNA from Arias that happened during the attack. It's not improbable that several things could have happened (this is just my theory).

Gravity, blood leakage from the first wound site, water probably entered the bullet wound site thereby diluting those indicators, and the stabbings likely occurred very quickly after the shot. There may not have been a quick drop in blood pressure in order to prevent the usual indicators of the "shot first" theory. So, with all of those factors, it is essentially anybody's guess at this point, except Jodi's. Jodi never even mentions stabbing in the Ninja story.

At the end of the day, I believe that she shot him first to incapacitate him. It's just too logical for her not to have done that first - and I don't believe she intended for it to be a knife fight - I think she always intended to stab him post mortem in order to make it look like there were multiple attackers. I don't think she anticipated having to use it until the .25 jammed.

MOO!

As a Niagara Falls reporter put it in his article about the Falls' connection to the murder:

"The gun used in the murder was a .25 caliber automatic, a near useless piece of hardware widely known as a “woman’s gun” among firearms aficionados. The whereabouts of the gun and knife used in the senseless slaying are unknown." http://www.niagarafallsreporter.com/Stories/2013/Jan29/AriasMurderTrial.html

Where is any evidence the gun jammed? Besides, the rage/satisfaction killers achieve by murdering their former lovers "up close and personal" with knives or by strangulation is well known to crime investigators. She was not going to kill him with a 'near useless piece of hardware.' She wanted him to suffer.

As far as the Ninja story, Jodi first told Detective Flores the woman was the agressor and she had a knife. Later, when she told Detective Flores the woman had a gun, he said "But you said the woman had a knife." She had to scramble to explain.

Then when Detective Flores asked in which hand the woman held the knife, Jodi held up her left hand, and shook it in a fist, saying, "This one." Then she quickly said, "er, right hand." She is not a very good liar, at least not all the time.

It's not so no one can see what they're getting paid. It's to protect the detailed billing statements that say exactly what the attorneys were doing, when and why. The amount of their compensation is known.

Given the timing of this latest attempt, I think they are trying to prevent Juan from showing how many hours Samuels really spent with Arias, and from start to finish.

I think Juan's closing argument is going to be spectacular, fluent, meticulous, infallable.

Even though witness examinations can seem so chopped during his line of questioning, his summation is going to flow like water - as in - smooth and all nooks and crannies will be whetted. Nothing will go untouched. There will be no reasonable doubt.

The defense is so severely inept in comparison to Juan.

I also believe that if there are wafflers in the Jury, the jurors asking the sarcastic questions who seems to be so vocal will have no trouble in deliberating with the questionable ones. I have high hopes.

Sideshows abound at Jodi Arias trial

*SNIP*
Among this week’s Internet scandals: TV viewers noticed that Arias took a pill of some kind while sitting at the defense table (she suffers from migraines); they saw her passing something to a member of her defense team, who passed it to Arias’ mother in the front row of the gallery (it was a birthday card).

=====
If passing the "birthday card" to her mother was something on the up and up, why does it appear that it was a secret in the passing of it?

Jodi Arias Murder Trial Day 31. The camera was still running after court had ended. Starts 0:16 - YouTube

*begins around the 0:19 mark*

Hi everyone!
Mom's surgery went well but now she has a long healing phase at home. I have only been able to see snippets of the Dr on the stand. My Goodness, watching his verbal acrobatics to try and fit everything into the DT's theory is verging on the absurd. Poor Jodi, brutally killing a person was so hard on her. Never mind what Travis was going through while being brutally killed!!!

Something popped into my mind today. Again, apologies if anything I post has been mentioned by anyone else. Usually, in a stabbing of this magnitude with this much blood, the attacker would have more severe cuts to their hands due to slippage. Today I was thinking about the duct tape in the shower, then I thought, what if she had taped the knife firmly in her hand to prevent it from slipping? It would also make it harder to disarm her.

I also just wanted to add that many people on the pro-jodi side believe she wasn't alone in this. Whether she was or not makes no difference in her guilt. In fact if someone was with her it would just prove premeditation and conspiracy to commit murder. I just wanted to throw that out there.

Lastly, I want to send love and prayers to Travis's family and many thanks to the court observers for giving us an inside view.
Hugs to all!!

I think Arias had a very limited understanding of firearms and the different levels of firepower. Like most people, and especially women, a gun is a gun, is a gun. I don't think she ever questioned that a gun would/would not likely kill someone.

As far as when Flores asked which hand, she stated that she was facing the attacker and had the attacker by the wrists - and that the knife was (shaking her left hand) in this hand, which would be the attackers right hand - which she explained. Again, a lie, but nothing I gleaned any relevant information from.

I tend to believe the gun jammed as well, and after TA's fight or flight response kicked in, it's possible he lunged at her and threatened to "effin kill you, *itch!"

She had to have the knife close by, or on her though, because she wouldn't have had enough time to run to the kitchen and grab one from his block.

Agreed, but none of the knives in the house were the knife used, now if she had one in her backpack or somewhere else, that could work, and who knows, maybe the rope story is true and a knife was used to cut it. Perhaps she even said, oh I have a knife I keep for protection in my backpack that we can use.

I wonder if the knives found on her on arrest day were missing a tip? I wonder if the search warrants at grandparents and parents homes, and other items recovered will be brought up as part of the rebuttal case?

There is no way it was on the up and up.

She is, including at trial, in the custody of Maricopa County's Sheriff Department.

Any correspondence between the defendant and anyone not acting in an official court-sanctioned defense capacity is to occur under the auspices and oversight of the Maricopa County Sheriff Department.

Judge Joe Arpaio needs to climb all over this, IMO.

I'm sure defense counsels bend/break the rules frequently in this regard, but I don't believe it was done on the up and up, and perhaps not even within the law.

The gun was only used to fire one shot, and the shot occurred first in the ninja story too, then all the left-right hand knife woman/man had it statements occurred.

I don't think she realized the gun was any less powerful than any other.

My dream jury question for JA: Why aren't you speaking in the voice you used before? You know--the higher-pitched, lisping babydoll voice?

QUESTION: Does anyone have a link to the State & DT Witness Lists? How does everyone know that AL is the last defense witness?

MOST ESPECIALLY since she was found out during an attempt to tamper with a potential witness, through artful concealment methods while she was in jail.

Glad your mom is doing well!

The duct tape was used to hold a 'body bug' (a monitoring device-see here http://www.bodybugg.com/). You can see it on his upper right arm in one of the pictures of him on the bed.

My theory is that she was wearing a hoodie or some other garment that had pockets. Theoretically, at least, that little gun and a knife could fit into one of the pockets. And, I also think that ceiling pic was accidentally taken when she was stuffing the camera into one of those pockets just before the gun came out (hence the elevation of the camera when it was snapped).

Can I prove it? Nope!
