I have always thought she brought the knife with her, with the gun. As for the rope, didn't exist, jmo. I do remember her saying that she put the rope in a dumpster behind a gas station, ? arizona I think. I think this could be were the gun and knife went. Only thing she did in the dessert was burn bloody clothes. jmo I still think that she thought mimi would be there.jmo

I seem to recall it's in the 3500+ range, still sizeable. It has 4 or 5 bedrooms, depending on how you count them, plus a home office. The closet in his bedroom suite is as big as one of the bedrooms in my house (which is really small). So I don't know why HLN is saying that. Is he from Hollywood? :floorlaugh:

I also routinely hear JA referred to as "petite" although she is about 5'6". I'm 5'7" and the last time somebody referred to me as petite I was two years old.

I always thought you had to be 5'4 or under to be petite. I think people are confusing petite with slim.

Watching the Blue Eyed Butcher on Lifetime, The woman that stabbed her husband nearly 200 times. Interestingly she went into a "FOG" too. I have seen this movie several times and never caught that until today. Wonder if Jodi saw this movie or Dr. Scamuals maybe. She also claimed Self Defense.

No. You're lying, right?

absolutely am not

it's exactly what she said on the stand (in the movie, don't know if script was written from transcripts). her atty is asking why she didn't remember everything she did after the stabbing she said

I went into a fog

and them some other stiff similar to jodis testilying, but I was trying to type fast

it was a little before the half way point in the movie

OMG, watching Blue Eyed Butcher about Susan Wright on lifetime and after she stabbed her husband 193 times, she........wait for it.....went into a fog!

Oops! I missed that one in my list of true crime movies on Lifetime and LMN today/tonight. I've got No One Would Tell on - I've seen it dozens of times and can practically recite the entire movie :D The Betty Broderick saga is on from 8:00 until midnight. Talk about March madness

You misunderstood my post. I am saying ARIAS, through LaViolette's interview, picked up on LaViolette's lingo, and is mimicking it on the stand to further her "battered woman" defense. Arias picked up on the lingo during her interview.
Arias is the one using LaViolette's words - with or WITHOUT Laviolette's instruction. I'm not bashing her..........................yet.

In the Casey Anthony case!
Her attorneys and women on her defence team! Also became friendly with kc! Remember the lady with the fried hair on her team? She at one point was seen hugging/comforting kc.
Also kc tried to play the part of an attorney! Filing and organizing for Baez. I guess working closely with clients! Creates a bond. Laviolette has been seen many times! Being chummy chummy with jodi. So chummy that at one point it seems like jodi was gonna lip lock with her. I don't trust lavoilette ! But I could be wrong. Will see.

I think it's a reasonable precaution under the circumstances.

**Note - I'm NOT cheering for either side and don't really have a fully formed opinion about guilt or innocence. Just watching the trial and discussing ideas. ***

If Jodi Arias is aquitted (and that's a very real possible outcome in any trail) - there appears (to me anyway) an real issue for her safety and for the jury.

The general population seems to have lost the reality that all defendants on trial are innocent until proven guilty - by a jury and a court of law (not the press or the public).

Well, I respect your neutrality, but I would have to say that there is a "zero" percent chance of an acquittal. There is a reasonable possibility that she avoids the death penalty, but it seems a slam-dunk that this jury will hang (legally, not metaphorically) before it would let her walk...especially after hearing some of the jury questions. :twocents:

Did she use the word "fog?"

I wouldn't be surprised if she saw the movie. Jodi's stories sound like things she's observed in movies.

After the Jodi Foster/Hinckley/Reagan/Taxi Driver thing, I was done. lol. Coincidences? Sure, but creepy coincidences.

Well I'm 5ft 2 and ive never been called petite it makes you wonder if these people are looking at what we are looking at.

Travis's closet is bigger than my girls room so when I see his house I think its huge

BBM.

That's not what was written in another thread. The poster indicated she/he believes it was manslaughter, fyi.

At this point saying "she could walk" is like saying "you could die" on the operating table having a routine surgery that people have all day, everyday. It could happen, but it's not likely. lol.

There is no way she gets an acquittal. But, I couldn't say the same thing about a hanged jury.

:waitasec: Are you confusing LaViolette with Arias' mediation specialist, or have I missed something?

Yes, It appears the Dr. Scamuals whole testimony came from the movie, the PTSD, she was in a Disassociative state, battered woman, the whole nine yards.

I agree. Maybe it is her moon/neptune opposition speaking. It is all fantasy on her part. 'Body slammed/wind knocked out of her/ rolled to the right...' It is all fabrication.

A true body slam onto tile bathroom floor would give her bruised or broken ribs, a concussion to the head, and she would need several minutes to recover her breath and sense of awareness before getting away. If Travis was actually in a murderous rage then she would not have survived to run to the closet. She would not even have been able to stand up, as he was standing over her (according to her story), and his arms would have caught her and restricted her ability to struggle. By then, he would have calmed down and apologized.

Sorry, I don't follow...are you saying the poster does not believe that an acquittal is a real possibility (as was written), or something else? Probably my fog kicking in.

The same knife she stole from a restaurant to also slash tires. My husband said "Do you know how hard it is to slash tires"? I'm like NO ??? He then went on to say it's not as easy as it sounds. You would need a wide, sharp blade, and some strength. He thinks JA used the same knife to kill TA.

She could have bought the knife, although it sounds more like her to steal one.

I want Juan to emphasize what she had in her 2nd rental car (day of arrest)...one hidden gun and several knives. If I were a juror, I would connect the dots and see a pattern. Yes, she brought both the gun and knife to Travis'.
