Evening everyone. I hope someone can answer a couple of questions for me:

1. Were the evidentiary hearings held on 08-08-11, 08-09-11, 08-10-11 and 08-15-11 open to the public?

2. Who broke the story of the airline tickets and when?

TIA

Don't know on #1, #2 was on HLN last night, they did not identify their source(s).

I dont believe the gun is in tbe desert. Shes not going to tell anyone whete to find her grandfathers gun.She probably has everthing in a bag and buried it or threw in in a lake.

I apologize for so many posts but my mind has been cranking around this all day.... I pray that someday, no matter how far into the future, that gun is found, somehow. The Universal Power saw to it that Lacy and Connor were found to set things right. I pray that one day that gun appears. Even if it's beyond my lifetime, I just want THAT to appear. If only to seal history with one more piece of the absolute truth that she 'stole' the gun and used it to kill TA.

I have always been baffled when family members stand by their accused killer relatives, I have a big problem with that. I for one could never show up in court pretending to stand up for any killer. I would show up and sit on the side of the murdered victim. I am mean like that. I have no respect for those people :fence:

I honestly don't know what I would do. Hopefully I will never be in that position.

Seriously that may be just what she wants. However, I do NOT believe she will ever be reunited with Travis........

MOO
She has delusions of grandeur though. Listen to her on the 48 hour interview and interrogations how Travis would say this or say that if he were here right now, Travis is looking down and knows..blah blah blah... I think she thinks that when she gets to the "other side" they will be together because now he knows how much she loved him. Girl is a whackjob.
Who really knows WTF she thinks.. I still think she is obsessed with him though.

I can't stand it either, it just makes me think that that's why the person ended up a murderer to begin with - because for all their lives their family was willing to excuse the inexcusable just because they were 'family'.

That's not real love, that's enabling someone into the pits.

The DT seems to be utilizing this manner to object to everything and while at the sidebar they're receiving suggestions on how to pose their questions. IMO, when an attorney is involved in a death penalty case they shouldn't be struggling with examining a witness, they shouldn't be reviewing exhibits as if it's the first time they have reviewed it, they shouldn't be exhibiting adolescence behavior such as giggling, rolling their eyes at the opposing attorney and arguing with, stomping their feet at the judge.:banghead: As for this judge, I wish she would get control of her courtroom, grow some gonads and start making some decisions without needing the attorneys going up to the sidebar to debate the issues.

I can't disagree with you. You get what you get with the defendant on the stand, but there's no excuse for presenting Dr. Fog as an expert. Clearly, they either didn't vet him, or he's the only, ehem, doctor that was willing to make up stuff, I mean, testify for her. As for the giggling and rolling of eyes...might this case be just a wee bit over the head of a couple of the participants? I am certainly not insinuating anything by asking this rhetorical question, as per the rules.

I think I would have to be there to support my child but tears would be streaming down my face, my hands would be covering my mouth so that I didn't wail out loud at hearing what she/he had done. My heart and soul would be so broken. I love my children but that doesn't mean they get a pass on every one of their actions. I would be a total heartbroken mess, not able to smile and laugh and giggle the way the Twins do. I can't even imagine having anything to smile about ever again, knowing what your child did to another human being. That apple didn't fall too far from the tree IMO.

I just cannot accept that the "naughty" pics were taken on the same day. They just don't make sense. The bed is made and she claims they had sex shortly after they woke up. They woke up made the bed and had sex. It just doesn't make any sense. The sequence of those pictures is strange too. According to her, TA took the pics of her (so he's up and about) and then very shortly after he's looking like he just woke up on the bed? Plus, there are two additional pics (of JA) in the sequence that we haven't seen yet. Why? What could be more graphic than the one of JA?

I'm in total agreement with you. Why would any reasonable person refer to her as being innocent when she has already admitted to murdering Travis Alexander? At this point, it's a only a question of whether or not she has been proven to have premeditated the murder. We are definitely entitled to our own opinions and are under no obligations to keep them to ourselves.
I think people are confusing innocent with justifiable. For those who think this is a justifiable homicide she's innocent of first degree murder.

I can only guess though since I've been rather firmly on the 'Guiltier than Sin itself' side since day two of this trial.

I've got no problem with being admittedly, openly nowhere near impartial. :giggle:

Exactly. And as the one who took his life, who will be convicted and sent to prison and possibly death row, she is forever "bonded" with Travis. In her own morbid way she will own him forever.

MOO

That is the scariest thing about this whole case. The total and complete obsession she had with him. I feel exactly the same way you do. She won't let him go...even in death she is determined to own him. When the guilty verdict comes in maybe his family will finally have some peace.

This trial has been even more of a circus than the Anthony trial. For the sake of his family I hope it's over soon.

With the utmost of respect to you, my final assessment of Judge Perry was not all that good. I had very high hopes at the beginning of the trial. He lost me when he never followed through with any disciplinary hearings or actions re: JB. He talked the talk but in the end, never walked the walk. He maintained fairness with no follow through.

Agree. He was all bluster but little bite behind the barking.

Ok I understand! Your right! But I guess I'm just. Frustrated with this judge.:seeya:

The salt river would have been a good choice. Imo.

Well now that you mention it! There were times he frustrated me. I guess time erased my memory! Thank y'all for the enlightenment .

I honestly believe that JA will be fine, no matter what verdict or punishment. She is now forever linked to the name of TA. A true Narcisisst admitted to me one day that negative attention is better than no attention at all. She doesn't mind at all that the only reason they are now forever linked is because she killed him. In her eyes, he is HERS for all eternity now. Not that he is nor will he be, if there is an afterlife, I have to add.
He will never be with anyone else, ever again. And she will smile on the gurney as they tie her down. Sick as it is, this trial is just a game and a farce to her. She would love to beat the charges, love to walk. But no matter what the outcome, she is fine. She has TA all to herself, she believes.
A while back a friend of hers and TA said that she not only was obsessed with TA but that she 'wanted to BE him'. I got the creeps hearing that.
And now she embodies the both of them. She thinks she's won. Boy is she in for one heck of a surprise....

I wonder why she chose that route (93) as opposed to the more direct route 89N? If she had taken the direct route, she would have been near Flagstaff at app. the same time her phone pinged north of Kingman.

Can anyone familiar with the area explain why she might choose one over the other? Why drive NW on 93 when 89N is a straight shot from Mesa to Utah?:waitasec:

Probably more to do with getting her story straight than geography. I guess she wanted to backtrack onto a more likely route out of Southern California towards SLC, Utah, which is the pretend itinerary her lies were based on.

What professional responsibility does the DT have for the reports this expert (cough) submitted prior to court, continued to add to while on the stand and more importantly the boundaries RS crossed with the defendent when he continued to visit JA in jail after he submitted his report (6/2011) up till Dec. of 2012? After all, RS's actions invalidated the purpose he was hired for, IMO.

I don't understand how finding the gun seals anything. Do we know for sure that the Grandfather had it registered and that it had a serial number on it or something that would identify it as his?
