You know it gets so old. People have such hatred towards the defense team that they cannot see straight. No matter what. I posted my thoughts on the subject a few days ago...

I think the point is that nobody wants there to be even a hint of impropriety. The defense will jump on anything that even hints of misconduct. There has already been several accusations of prosecutorial misconduct. Why give them ammunition?

The bottom line is that this trial is about the brutal murder of Travis Alexander. The side shows, groupies, fans, .... whatever you want to call them, need to back off and let him finish his job. Looky loos wanting their fifteen minutes of fame via a picture or whatever need to wait until it is over! Then have at it for all I care. I just don't want to see it jeopardize the case in any way.

If I were Travis' family I would be pissed that this is going on. I mean, imagine how they feel? People who have no business injecting themselves into this case causing problems. It is their brother! This trial has been going on for a long time. Day in and day out they have to sit there and listen to the BS going on inside the courtroom. They shouldn't have to be subjected to the BS going on outside of the courtroom. People need to have some respect for this family, and just knock it off!

I do not blame JM at all. I've said it before and I'll say it again, these ignorant people chasing him around should be ashamed of themselves. He is doing the right thing by avoiding the circus at all costs.

Amen to all of the above, especially to how it affects the family of Travis. This is their quest for justice for the the brutal murder of a loved one. This is not a game, a chance at fame, a TV show or something they enjoy at all.

This is a legal proceeding for a heinous crime. I have disliked much of the media coverage with its emphasis on misleading but sensationalized headlines.

I truly believe the main website that claims jodi is innocent is simply a for profit site set up by someone knowing that this case was gathering a lot of interest. That website could give a care less about justice or even respecting the dead, or anything decent. it is just a freak show for profit.

If you are talking about Chris and Sky Hughes, yes both of them have testified, but only during the evidentiary hearing that was not before the jury.

Chris testified on two separate days and Sky testified once.

There was also the cat ordeal, she kept a cat/could have been a kitten for a friend for 2 weeks. Basically locking it in a room for the whole 2 weeks :furious: Probably never fed it or gave it water.

It was a 6+ year old cat whose owner didn't want it anymore because he was marrying woman who was "allergic." Jodi agreed to tend the cat while they were on their honeymoon and, even according to "Valerie", gave it plenty of food and water, but did leave it in a room, the size of which wasn't specified. At the end of the honeymoon, the loving dad of the cat for 6 years confirmed that he didn't want it at all and so Jodi went to take it to the humane society for him.

ITA. Any psych meds given would be to alleviate various symptoms associated with the psychopathy that the individual experiences, ie depression, psychosis, etc.

Apparently there isn't much difference between the two in the way they manifest themselves which is probably why they are not listed in the DSM-IV and just fall under the catch all category of anti-social personality disorder?? Not sure.

I doubt it since there would have been no reason to prove it at the time. There's also no reason to believe she would have fed and watered it sufficient to last the honeymoon if she'd wanted to torture and kill it. Pure rumor in every direction, imo.
