Ditto here, I could never understand the difference until tonight when I read the cause of psychopathy is structural and sociopathy is environmental. :floorlaugh:

Apparently there isn't much difference between the two in the way they manifest themselves which is probably why they are not listed in the DSM-IV and just fall under the catch all category of anti-social personality disorder?? Not sure.

As far as a medical diagnosis, I think they're identical. Based on the information I have at this time, the difference between a sociopath and a psychopath is that one is diagnosed by a therapeutic psychiatrist and the other by a forensic psychiatrist. In other words, one is comfortable with violence, the other isn't.

He is just one of the defendants ex bf's that she visited in California on her little murder trip.

Allegedly he posted back in Jan 2013 on some worthless site online that he would lie for her and other nonsense about her being abused.

The cryptic magazines the defendant tried to give to Ann Campbell were to be forwarded to Matt.
He had been interviewed and messed up what she had been saying for the past year somehow, so the defendant was trying to get a message to him before he testified at a hearing.

The defendant stated in a 48 Hours interview that he would never betray her trust, as well as other times saying some similar nonsense like that.

The defendant testified about him owning illegal guns, lol.

IDK I'm tired and can't really be bothered thinking too much about the guy, he sounds like a :nevermind:

MM was Jodi's ex boyfiend.
When she left Yreka on Jun3, one of her stops was at his place.
From what I understand, she confided in him alot.
He was also also one of the people Jodi contacted in her alternate reality after Travis' murder.
I believe he as going to testify for the DT earlier on, but he went and posted stuff on the JA is innocent website, and was part of the "magazine" fiasco. (Secret writings in a photo magazine, that was passed from Jodi).
I believe he knows alot more and there has been speculation he will be testifying for the state in rebuttal; in other words- not so much on Jodi's side anymore.
But, that is a rumour and no where does it state he will be testifying.

Totally agree, never have liked or understood the concept of an autograph. Have an intense dislike for groupies.

Back in 1985 we would do autographs at record stores in LA, we would have to get police escorts on motorcycles thru redlights to stop the groupies from following us.

I think JM should have known better but got caught up in an awkward situation.

I was just thinking. With all the money to be made with book deals about high profile cases, is there anything in place to keep a juror from intentionally hanging a jury in hopes of getting rich off the notoriety? It seems a stupid thing to do but I could see it happening in any high profile case.

I honestly cannot imagine becoming rich and famous by hanging this jury. Just the opposite, in my opinion.

I think I've got this psychopath figured out. When her young siblings started to get more attention than she did (weren't they much younger?) she could not take it. JA wanted ALL attention - She rebelled by killing the dog and could have done worse that we don't know about. She killed the family dog Doggie Boy as a Freshman in High School. She started dating Bobby Juarez and her Mother fought that. She left the family to live with BJ. I think BJ tought her how to use a KNIFE. moo. She used sex to lure men and religion as I recall. When she thought she finally found her "dream" mate, she was not going to let go. She continued with her MANIPULATION using sex as her tool - When she saw that had failed, she killed again. She would not be out-done. I think this is why JM came out of the chute with "you thought your little sister was stupid". My Opinion Only.
