Is he out on bail?
Is he out on bail?
Note that Judge Garsh stands at bench while addressing court and lawyers
Good that cameras are allowed for this hearing. Hope this transparency continues throughout trial
Never seen before, is the judge standing?
I think you will like the way this trial is conducted. We sure can use some transparency to restore our faith in the openness of the court system.
Jury not currently NOT present. Judge and lawyers are having a discussion in open court. However she will most likely stand when addressing the jury as well. Of course everything is subject to change..lolI cant watch the live feeds, buffering and sound issues, so wanna thank you, and everyone for keeping me in the loop..
jmo, but w/ judge standing at bench, sounds like this judge has and is showing respect to the jurors?
Opening statements were expected to start shortly after 9 a.m. in Bristol Superior Court after Garsh swore in the panel of 13 women and five men, but Garsh said in court that one of those jurors was late to arrive. She started choosing another juror, but did not explain why.
After 11 a.m., with the issues apparently resolved, she began instructing the jury.
I was wondering the same...
