Well, this case is crazy. The thing is, it has been very obvious since the very beginning that LE wasn’t looking for someone alive on the run, they’re looking for someone who’s dead.

So, even though her husband is a known con artist and she MIGHT be sort of suspicious/shady, it has been super duper clear that LE thinks that this is a DV situation and that she’s no longer alive.

I just found out about this case and it is stranger then fiction. Feels like reading criminal book, I still think the obvious happened and Ana is somewhere close to the house.

Yet With all the happenings in her life I could imagine something else went down. Imo

Why help from the Secret Service?
From 1982 to 1984, he held the position of President of the Presidency of the Socialist Republic of Serbia and, according to many, played a key role in the rise of Slobodan Milošević. He died in 2005 and was buried with military honors in the Alley of Deserving Citizens at the New Cemetery in Belgrade.

In the same year, his granddaughter Ana Walš left Belgrade, where she finished the Fifth Gymnasium, and went to the United States of America. There she later married Brian Walsh, with whom she had three children. At the end of last year, she stayed in Belgrade, and on her Instagram profile

It could be that. A simple domestic violence incident that turned to murder.

BUT there are some strange goings on...the secret service involved, their old house burning down within a couple of days of her disappearance, the company she works for being involved in shady goings on in DC.....

These could all be red herrings.... or they could indicate that something deeper is at play.

Ana's grandfather was general Ljubicic and president of Serbia in 1980ies.

"Neither the FBI nor other police or law enforcement have alleged wrongdoing by Tishman Speyer, Crossing DC or Allied Universal – the building's contracted security."

Tishman Speyer is the real estate company Ana worked for.

Not sure if this has already been answered, but the secret service would be involved if there are financial crimes/fraud.

The Secret Service has primary jurisdiction to investigate threats against Secret Service protectees as well as financial crimes, which include counterfeiting of U.S. currency or other U.S. Government obligations; forgery or theft of U.S. Treasury checks, bonds or other securities; credit card fraud; telecommunications

That’s significant isn’t it - would there be diplomatic issues for LE to be working with right now?
Not unless he's a current diplomat.
Plus Yugoslavia broke up into several countries (Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Kosovo) back in 1992, so I shouldn't think he would have any relevance today.

MOO.

The husband of missing Cohasset, Massachusetts woman Ana Walshe is expected to appear in a Quincy courtroom Monday morning, after his arrest for allegedly misleading police investigators, which was announced on Sunday.

As they explained to me, she was supposed to go to the airport together with a colleague, but no one knows if she got into that taxi.
This was taken from the article:
Has anyone followed up on who the alleged colleague might be? Why did Ana’s husband insert that tidbit into the information he gave to Ana’s mother? It was another lie he could be caught in.
I do believe the husband is likely responsible for Ana’s disappearance, but sometimes when a suspect supplies extraneous details there is a nugget of truth buried within. Was there an accomplice who removed A’s body from the house? Was the colleague comment meant to divert from a possible sighting of a vehicle leaving the Walshe residence in the early morning hours?

Exhibits Missing from Def't's Sentencing Memo?

DocumentCloud
Filed 06/07/22 for Def't Brian W., by Atty Tracy Miner, memo itself is 7 pages long, plus exhibits, for total 17 pages.

Where are:
--- Exhibit A, Letter of Diana Walshe, ref'ed on page 3 (in which Brian's mother purportedly explains her reasons for transferring $125,000 to Brian in May 2018, to let him pay bills, & to give balance to Ana for family/household exps.).

---- Exhibit F, Letter of Dr. Tittman, ref'ed on page 5 (in which he purportedly describes Brian's work on his mental health issues).

I don't see either of above in documentcloud.org link. Help, anyone? TiA

Not that this bears on the MisPers case, but IF, big IF, the Ex's were not included, how does that happen in serious crim cases & doc's. Well, human error. Or were they deliberately omitted?
Did attys for the Gov't notice? IDK, I'm not there yet.
imo jmo moo
Yes, I see what you are referring to and those documents or exhibits were not included in the document upload. Perhaps the journalist who uploaded the documents thought he wasn't able to include them??
The documents were contributed by Justin Rohrlich (The Daily Beast)
