IMO/IME In my neighborhodd. Many Chinese families come over on HB1 visa's (?) where you have to invest a certain amount of money in our country to get admittance. The trend seems to be to buy in the expensive towns with the best schools. From what I have seen in my experience, once the kids are off to college a new family moves in. Are there "sleeper cells" among them - My own opinion is that it is extremely possible. We have had arrests in my town IMO -
Also IMO there is a huge "underground" network - so NY may be part of that ?

Confusing in deed. Don't think the red one is even a passport, if it is, that is the color of the Turkey passport. She would have needed a passport to fly to DC, but why were 2 out? All so strange. Maybe she and the kids were getting ready to go to DC. Makes sense if it is a turkey passport. Domestic travel. A BC will do for one of the other kids.

Thank you for your perspective. I’m fine with that as one take on it, but I also find it to be more than a coincidence that Ana is surrounded by folks engaged in fraud/gamesmanship/deceit, etc.
MOO, but I, personally, refuse to believe she is an oblivious sheep unable to understand what’s going on around her, or to act with agency. Yes, the NY Post article smacks of xenophobia and is clearly exaggerating some things.
But to fully understand a crime, especially a mysterious one such as this, I try to fully understand the victim and all of those surrounding her.

Somehow this woman seems to be surrounded by folks who are not always on the up and up, and it has been that way for her for a long period of time. I am in no way blaming her, but I’m also interested in looking at the entirety of the situation to see who else may be around, and how her experience of “shady doings” on many fronts (home, work, etc) may have inured her to the dangers lurking in the corners of her life (i.e., her abductor/likely killer). I am not seeing tons of photos of Ana with a huge circle of adoring friends on IG; I do see a LOT of photos of her colleagues and co-workers, glamour shots & selfies, and images of her reveling in the luxury goods she so clearly enjoyed. She had a “get-ahead” mindset; it may have played a role in who she allowed to be close to her, is what I’m saying.

MOO, but to me, it feels important to look at all the angles and not infantilize her. What IF she knew what was going on at the building, and why is it less acceptable and less important to ask that than any other question in this case?

I should also add I believe BW is responsible for Ana’s disappearance. I am not 100% sure he didn’t have some sort of assistance after the fact.

Your question is "What IF she knew what was going on at the building" To the best of my knowledge all the nefarious activity did not happen on her watch. She did not work for Tishman at that time. IMO

In a FOXNews article from yesterday that I posted last night, it was reported that an attendee at their 12/21/2015 wedding in Boston said that NONE of the guests at the wedding were from BW’s side. Apparently, not even his mother, which might not be too surprising as she described her own reclusive nature in her affidavit. So, there was no one there to possibly raise concerns about his psychiatric diagnosis as a sociopath when the celebrant asks anyone with objections to “speak now or forever hold your peace”.
Lastly, it’s notable that the Instagram photo that AW posted of herself with a cut above her eye and a bruised forehead and in which she mentions also having a mild concussion and bruised hip from falling on a recently polished marble floor at work (on a weekend ? ) occurred just a week after BW was released from jail where he spent two nights following his arrest on May 9, 2018 for selling the fake Warhol paintings. He was released on May 11th after his mother posted the $75k for bail.

I do not know what is that red booklet, but it is NOT a Serbian passport for sure. First it is wrong shade of red, second, there are no stripes on the cover of a serbian passport.

To my knowledge no to all of the things. I haven’t read anything about Ana’s mother and sister to be in the US now. Or BW mother statement. IMO

If you read the court transcripts (Cr. No. 18-10399-DPW-1) you reach a better understanding, IMHO, about how devious BW was. He took 3 real Warhols from a friend in South Korea along with some other valuable art. BW then proceeds to hire 2 different artists to "recreate" the Warhols and sells the fakes at least twice, grossing over $200k on the fakes. To this day the FBI is not sure where the actual Warhol paintings are that BW stole from his friend.

The CA dealer who bought the fake Warhols and brought the federal suit was given pictures and documentation regarding the real Warhols because BW actually had the real ones at the time. The CA dealer paid a professional to fly to Boston and inspect the paintings in person before handing over the money. The reals were replaced by fakes that day but BW showed that dealer mostly real authenticated info on the real Warhol paintings BW had in his posession.

MOO, BW was not fleecing some "rubes" but was able to successfully sell the exact same Warhol art to very well informed art investors in CA (fakes) and France (fakes) and sell the real ones someplace else nobody in the world knows where. The CA art dealer who brought the federal suit against BW did hours of due diligence hand in hand with the Warhol Foundation to authenticate what he was buying before he wrote the check.

I hate to give him credit but BW was a very good con man.

I said it before, I am totally confused by this picture. Red Serbian passport next to 2 US passports... Who was planning to leave the country?? BW is not possible given his house arrest, so Ana and the kids? But only 2 US passports...why not 1 for each of the 3 kids? Where is the 3rd US passport?

And why are they out on the kitchen table at all? If on Jan 1 BW is planning to go to federal prison in a few days and AW is planning to take the kids to DC to live with her who needs to get passports ready for some travel??

Numerous search warrants linked to missing Cohasset woman Ana Walshe delivered to court

Numerous search warrants related to the search for missing Cohasset mom Ana Walshe were returned to Quincy District Court Friday, where the documents were impounded.

Linda Bucci, a former prosecutor, says the district attorney's office continues to gather all kinds of evidence and will likely present that evidence to a grand jury that will attempt to show a motive on what happened to Ana Walshe.

"They have to prove that she's gone and connect her to it somehow," Bucci said. "Like, that she didn't just take a walk or is visiting somebody or ran away. So they have to prove she's dead and they have to prove that she didn't accidentally die."

Prosecutors could bring a formal complaint to the district court for a murder charge or wait for that grand jury to formally indict Brian Walshe, who is currently being held on high bail after being charged with misleading a police investigation.

"They have evidence," Bucci said. "They might have spoken to him. He might have given them evidence. So, they're on their way, but they're not there yet."
