That is my hope as well. I can't believe they convicted.

In an appeal I would also want to ask if the Jury was pressured or influenced to reach a verdict because of the anniversary marked on Sunday.

My last hope is that the DA has something, anything to charge her with after her sentencing tomorrow. Otherwise she just walks and I am not okay with that.

Bond will appear in Suffolk Superior Court for the Tuesday morning sentencing, which is set to take place sometime between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.

McCarthy is scheduled to be sentenced on Wednesday. He faces a life sentence with parole eligibility after a minimum of 15 years.

This is such injustice. Her other kids must all be breathing a sigh of relief that she isn't in their life.

I noticed a part in there where Megan Fewtrell, the godmother of Bella, said that she thinks it was Rachelle who wrapped Bella in blankets, and also she thinks Rachelle threw Bella into the water.

i found her comments interesting and she seemed to know a lot about what happened or so she thinks or did someone talk to her? When asked where she met RB she did not want to say so we are left to assume another druggie that she met on the street...so hard with all of these people to get even a small bit of truth. I think she said something about Bella being Japanese????

Anyone familiar with probation violations in MA and how the plea deal figures in?

Cuz I have to be honest- unless her lawyer has made arrangements to get RB directly admitted to an inpatient rehab program, RB will violate probation or overdose within 3 months to a year. She has no support system whatsoever and she has been a hard core addict for more than 20 years. Without rehab, she will gravitate towards addicts, because 1) that is what she knows and 2) she's become a pariah to society, so most will shun her.

She might be clean and sober now, but there is no way she is rehabbed.

Isn't that nice...so glad they can expedite things for her. What kind of magic has she worked with the Boston legal system. All those guys at the presser talked about her as if she just fell on some bad times but really told the truth.
