BOSTON (WHDH) -Despite the godmother of Bella Bond saying she contacted police about the girl, State Police say they never received a tip from her.
Megan Fewtrell, the godmother of 2-year-old Bella Bond, showed 7News a text message she claims she sent to police about Bella Bond.
However, Fewtrell is dyslexic and transposed the first two digits of the phone number when she sent the text message.
State Police also said they have record of a phone call from Fewtrell, despite her say she called police.

Sure there was. CALL 911 but druggies won't do that because they would be busted. My brother in-law who is a retired ER dr said do you know how many friends of overdosed people drop them off, push them out of car in front of ER and take off. That's real good friends don't you think.

Yes, it appears she tried. And I really did feel for her today. Yet, what bothered me was this: why go through a tip line or text if you have a vested interest in the wellbeing of someone this close to you? I understand anonymity, not wanting to get involved, but this was a godchild! I'd like to think if it was me in this situation (god forbid) I'd be going to my nearest police department with all the info I had and begging them to check on this child immediately. Hard to judge if not in her shoes/situation, but that bothered me today, I have to say.

Watched the arraignment from a link posted here and thank you all so much for the amazing comments, links, thoughts etc. I was just wondering if the woman who was escorted out of the courthouse today was the Godmother to baby Bella? Thanks- she was holding a stuffed duck, I believe- were they the same person?

Just caught a segment on CNN- Anderson Cooper. Apologies if someone already mentioned this. The reporter ( who was at court today) said that bio "dad" was holding up some beads that were Bella's. He apparently was trying to show RB he had them.. That's what she supposedly was mouthing to him about. Though the reporter did not say what it was RB was trying to say.
JMO- I said this before, but I'll say it again- I do firmly believe RB is a MASTER manipulator. I think JA is believing whatever he wants to believe ( stupidly, IMO) but I also think RB is super crafty in her ways of manipulating others, and the system as well. JA playing right into her hand.. Just as she figured (again, IMO) he would. Just like the steam of men going in and out of her apartment. Once she knew things were going to be found out, she latched on to JA purposely and ditched MM. Not to say MM isn't to blame here either, I just think RB is lying through her rotten teeth. And JA, I very frankly think he should have his pie hole clamped shut already!

Back on the last thread was discussion about Bella in the fridge or freezer, and other cases. Paula Simms killed her thirteen day old daughter, Loralei and claimed someone stole her at gunpoint, and they found the baby's remains in the woods behind their house. Three years later she had another baby girl, and Paula said she was and knocked unconscious, and six week old Heather was missing. They Heather dumped in a trashcan in a park, and traced her back to her mom by the trash bag she was in. It matched the ones in the house that was run on the same machine within a few seconds of each other. Paula kept Heather in the freezer for a few days to throw people off.

Yes, it was the godmother. There were also follow-up interviews done with her that have posted in the thread.

Yes that is the Godmother who was escorted out after yelling to " Rot in hell" also the one who was holding the yellow duck, and same person who said she tried to call/txt the tip line, but apparently is dyslexic and composed two numbers incorrectly.

Laws confuse me. I know in many States if say I was in a car and remained inside yet my driver decided to shoot and kill somebody inside a gas station we stopped at I can still be charged with murder. Why not in this case????

In my state if you are along and you are committing a felony with another and someone gets killed, you can also be charged.
Not sure about MA law though. I think it's a pretty liberal state.

I hope they increase the charges for RB as soon as possible. As a 2 year old, Bella probably was a challenge as a growing independent and bright child. What strikes me is that as an addict, RB was so busy getting high that she did not parent or protect her child. Hearing about the locking in the closet, I can only imagine the amount of fear and confusion this little girl had when she only wanted love and attention. In absence of attention, I am sure her behavior became more demanding or challenging. In the end, she did not get what she needed or deserved. I pray that she did not suffer. I hope both of these people are held to the greatest account. It almost makes no sense to give anyone in her world the time of day or effort as they all failed her. When you show up late without groceries, you can be sorry. When you fail to do what is right for another living being, you should hang your head and ask for forgiveness for your cowardice.

My mind is now switching to bio dad. Just hypothetical thinking here.
A father hasn't met his daughter and she's almost three years old. He left because he was disgusted by RB.
ALLLLLLL the sudden he shows up and is supporting his druggie baby momma accused of murder.
Not adding up for me.

Bio Dad was out of the state when Bella died and was dumped.
He didn't return to the state until August.
I'm sure that can and has been verified by LE already. :twocents:
