Not sure if I remember correctly but isn't JF a fisherman? Would a fisherman have a lobster trap? That's as far as I want to go with that thought.

I live locally and reports are now saying it was near a trap not in one....

Lobster traps are pretty common place in waters here. Guess it's a wait & see...

I'm watching WCBV news. Apparently Jaimee's family has been at the beach all day watching the recovery. Her sister was interviewed briefly. She was understandably in tears.
Very sad.

In most cases I never want recoveries such as this to be related to the missing. But with Jaimee it seems her family had made peace with her not being with the living since November. They just wanted to bring her home. So for her family I hope that is what can happen now if it is in fact her. Holding them all in prayer as we wait...

Bless those LE members and such for being out there in cold, cold weather to help this family find some closure. Thank you.

No Mother should ever have to spend her day as Jaimee's Mom did today. Praying the truth will come to light and justice follows.

I've got the address. Just not sure if it's okay to use it since it hasn't been in MSM?

IIRC TOS permits us to sleuth LOCAL RSO's related to a case. I still have this link;

http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?91068-New-Rules-on-Sex-Offenders-and-Rumors

He himself has spoken to MSM and admitted his level 3 status.+

IMO We are free to show his location.

ETA in cases where there is a case map, RSO's addresses in the area are pinned on the maps.

A little more info and now they mention Jamiee in the headline. This is so heartbreaking for the Mendez family I just can't imagine. :(

As investigators were about to remove the remains from the scene Wednesday afternoon, a distraught Michelle Mendez, who had managed to walk onto the beach, suddenly rushed toward them. A police officer caught up with her and moved her away.

Police and the district attorney are cautioning against speculation as to whose remains were discovered by a dog walker at around 8 a.m. Wednesday.

ETA: There were two other bodies found close by in the last couple months. I am more curious now about a the serial killer rumors as well.

"Mendez’s family is not the only one wondering if they’ll have closure soon. A private investigator working on behalf of the family of University of New Hampshire student Elizabeth “Lizzi” Marriott, who was murdered in 2012, showed up at the scene. Her body, in a suitcase, is believed to have been dumped into waters off the New Hampshire Seacoast and has never been found." http://www.salemnews.com/news/local...cle_0d7009e5-70e3-5416-bd41-4ac1a8e1e872.html

Okay this is a really stupid question I guess but, if her body has never been found, how is believed that she was murdered and put in a suitcase and dumped in the water off NH? Did someone confess to doing it? Is there a thread here for her? (going to look now...)

ETA: okay well, that answers that :( I'd never heard of Lizzi's case before but this same article also states: "Further down the beach, near the low tide waterline, investigators also carefully examined what appeared to be rope."

Could be nothing... could be something. Ugh. :(

Do they use rope for the lobster traps?
