Good morning from the 26th day of testimony in the Commonwealth vs. Read. Hope all my fellow dad's had a good one yesterday. We are underway.
-Trooper Joseph Paul, MSP accident reconstructionist is expected back on the stand this morning.
-Judge still has to rule on what he can say about the Ring video that shows KR backing into JO's car. During voir dire Friday, he opined that the tire on JO's SUV did not move and that event would have not cracked KR's taillight.
After a brief sidebar at the bench, the jury is brought in. Tpr Joe Paul retakes the stand. Prosecutor Adam Lally resumes questioning. Asks about speed/braking tests done on Read's SUV.
Paul talks in general about vehicle-to-vehicle collisions, says it's possible to have paint come off one vehicle and go to another. Says height difference can make a difference where damage appears on vehicles.
