Apologies for serial posts. I also find this report of a "flowers in her hair" rather curious. Can anyone provide a link for this? As you can all see from the linked videos, there are not flowers in bloom here in NH yet, so it wouldn't be as if Sinead was walking along and making a flower crown, or picking daisies and tucking them behind her ears.

I guess they could be artificial flowers, but seems odd..Would like to read this source since it differs from the NH State Police.

In this article it says she was wearing flowers in her hair, when she vanished. But other articles say she was wearing a white hat. The news reports have been incredibly conflicting and inaccurate so you don’t really don’t know what to believe.

Irish woman, 41, is still missing ten days after vanishing with her German Shepherd | Daily Mail Online

Thank you!

The Daily Mail is all over the place. I find they make a lot of typos and random errors, but sometimes they will publish information before other sources and they' re correct. As you pointed out, hard to know what to believe.

One of the comments mentioned the obvious: what about Sinead's phone? Surely law enforcement knows and is not releasing that information.

Interestingly that seems to be the only thing they have that doesn't agree with what we've seen elsewhere.

Very good photos of Lyons and Flossie, and of the area, including her car and the parking lot.

Also wanted to note Sinead is wearing a white hat in one of the photos in the Daily Mail article above.

Do we know what time of day the woman was was spotted walking along the lake?

Are we certain the woman walking a German Shepherd was seen on the 11th?

When (in terms of the timeline of search) did someone come forward and say the saw a woman walking a dog near the lake?

I'm also wondering, why did it take so long to find her car (Monday evening the 15th), knowing Sinead was looking for places in/around Ossipee to walk with Flossie? It is an older Volvo, with out of state plates. That should stand out if parked for several days and overnight in this kind of lot. Wouldn't you think local police at least do a cursory drive through and would have noticed her car if it had been there the entire time? I know they drive a loop through the parks and lakes here in my neck of the woods, to keep an eye on things.

I’ve wondered about the car a lot too. I’m wondering if maybe it was somewhere else & then moved around the 15th & that’s why they found it? Perhaps they don’t want to say they suspect follow play because they have a suspect in mind & they don’t want to tip them off.

Assuming she is still missing, police would be unlikely to omit details in order to deceive a suspect, imo...at this point finding her is the focus. I will have to read back to see if they feel she has been harmed. Jmo

yeah I can see that. There’s just been so many cases where police keep certain details from the public for various strategic reasons. I certainly hope they know more than we do! Like if her phone & wallet were in the car I’d find the theory that she’d gone missing while walking her dog much less likely & would be more leaning towards her car being dumped there. You’d have to wonder if their search of the car has given them anything additional to go on.

Edit: the police have never indicated that they suspect foul play & of course accidents happen all the time but sadly women dying because of violent partners/ex partners is more common.

Keep in mind, a witness saw her and the dog near the car.

oh I know, but witnesses can be unreliable unfortunately. Who knows, I’m just speculating obviously. There’s so little to go on here.
I hear ya. We're here to speculation and mull ideas over. I am placing weight on the witness sighting, but you're right that witnesses are not always correct.

Ok, I think I partly understand why her car may have been overlooked. I found a release from the NH State Police and it seems they were not notified by the Lowell PD until March 14th. View attachment 289812
Oh that’s so frustrating, she was last seen on March 11. With her family being in Ireland though I can see how that might have caused a delay in realising she was missing in the first place.

I also found this flyer, which says she was last seen on March 12th at 12:30 PM (which would match the WMUR report mentioned above by @PommyMommy ) and this flyer also references the "flowers in her hair" and wearing a dress. I have no idea if this is accurate, but noting/attaching since it is "out there" and gives a specific time of the sighting.

Yeah, that was the first one. I think they must’ve gotten more info after that & changed the last seen date & her clothing. It’s terrible that there’s such confusion with these details but I think it’s pretty common in missing persons cases.

Sorry, I’m new to the site & thought I’d posted a comment with the poster!

Is Sinead actually Irish, or an American of Irish origin? I'm just wondering how she is staying in the US legally....through her job? And what is her job?

She's not currently married as there was mention of a boyfriend, but was she married to an American previously?

There are very few details of her private life, and quite often that provides clues.

The boyfriend seems very quiet too. What about her friends and colleagues? Or is Sinead just a very private person and keeps herself to herself?
