Please do not discuss any tips that are being or have been sent in to law enforcement. The whole world can read here and WS is not in the business of tipping criminals off to what is taking place in an investigation.

Soliciting or discussing private messaging is not allowed on the thread. If you want to PM with someone, just do it without announcing it on the thread.

Remember that ALL images require a link to the approved source. It is a violation of copyright law not to give credit to the source of their work.

Rude, personalizing attacks on other members are absolutely not allowed and will result in temporary or permanent loss of posting privileges.

It is okay to develop a list of initials/names for major case players and other individuals who may have been named in Mainstream Media or by LE in relation to the case. For individuals that have not been named in this case, it is advisable to use initials only and a description of how they may be related to the case without using their names on the list.

You know, if I were a top cop and somebody came onto my property and murdered my dog with a blow to the head, I would be VERY fearful for the safety of my family and the body of the dog would be kept as evidence for the investigation into my pets murder and NOT discard of him in the trash!!

A bit of truth in both ideas IMO.
I think the itinerant lifestyle, crisscrossing Europe, was more about the freedom to commit crimes as an anonymous actor, before the past/LE caught up with him. Exactly as did RH.

He fits an abusive profile.

A long history of crime, but initially nothing serious enough to get banged up for a long time. Drifting lifestyle - unable to build up a proper base, relationships etc. Living at least partly off criminal activity.

Also, places in the sun can tend to attract these kinds of people looking for a cheap cruisey lifestyle compared to a housing block in Germany - you also used to find lots of these bums in places like Thailand, Vietnam and then Cambodia as each got more expensive.

He's not clever and gets caught routinely.

I've met guys who've taken this lifestyle (not child abusers!)

But sketchy ex pats who have dropped out of mainstream life to live on the cheap in Asia or whatever. Generally they have crap jobs, spend their time getting drunk/high. Have a high sense of entitlement and take advantage of some local woman or a string of them.

They are the guy in their late 30s or 40s who is still hanging on the beach like they are in their 20s

Yes the M family saw the pickup truck on way home to their apartment, went to bed, and heard the very early searches, this suggests they walked home to Estrela da Luz a little earlier than the S family did.

So from these two we can assume any traffic would be noticeable. Especially if recalled the morning after because you'd found out that a child had been abducted.

Has the grey looking car ever been accounted for?

Is there any clarity on the time the pick up was seen.

We could really do with a good map with all the relevant spots marked.
