Breaking
Just like I suggested in #2. The The Hague police have announced to reinvestigate the missing case of the little 7 year old boy missing from Monster, The Netherlands in 1995; Jair Soares.

THE HAGUE - The police cold case team in The Hague is investigating whether Christian Brückner, the German man suspected of the murder of British toddler Maddie McCann in 2007, was behind the disappearance of Jaïr Soares (7) in Monster in 1995. Contact has now been made with the German police.

Politie Den Haag onderzoekt link Maddie-verdachte en verdwijning Jaïr Soares (7) in 1995

The Hague police confirm this after questions about this by De Telegraaf <a Dutch newspaper>. The disappearance of Jaïr on Monster beach in August 1995 is one of the biggest cold case mysteries in the Netherlands. In July last year, the police said in this newspaper that they strongly take into account that the boy from Rotterdam was taken by a teenager at the time, after which he may have been sexually abused and murdered.

As we all know in 1995 CB was a teenager (born in 1977 so approx 18 years old at the time).

Edited to add.

I dont see it either,but one thing that has been bugging me since his picture was released is that he looks almost identical to an actor,I think a british one I have seen and I cant for the life of me think what in,or find an image of him. I know its completely irrelevant bit it is driving me nuts:rolleyes::mad:

I know who you mean, he would be in his 70's / 80's now I think.

The guy who found that image, is not police but sent it to them. He is on another forum I've read. Other people familiar with VW vans has said it doesn't look like one as there would be hardly any white bonnet showing on a T3 model van, whereas that van has a more pronounced bonnet area.

It's pretty sneaky of The Sun to say it proves the VW was driven back to that farm house when it could be a different van, even an abandoned one that wasn't drivable. But that's The Sun for you!

That satellite imagery is on Google Earth (pro - download, use back in time feature) and it is listed as June 2007

Ah, I get you. That was a modern pic. If you turn back the clock to June 2007 you see this:

Ahhh that will be why. I was actually looking at his other property he had which happened to have a white van and black car on it. But I’m on my phone and there’s no option to view historical pictures on there.

<modsnip: quoted post was removed>

The UK public is supportive and onside. A lot of that stems from them being made suspects in the early part of the Portuguese investigation.

The article says the dimensions are exact.

I'm sure the police have experts who can analyse it. Right now the person that submitted it to the police is the one who measured it. Have a look at a VW T3 Van, there is hardly any white bonnet compared to windscreen and there is a dark grill and bumper which makes up much of the front of the van. That doesn't seem to be evident on the image.
