They are discussing sea snakes, now my fear of swimming in the ocean has now been confirmed. A 24 meter sea snake really????? Maybe it's the Loch ness monster:banghead:

huh?? really? sea snakes? what was the context of mentioning them?

Aussies. Whether this is it or not, you'd better be damn proud of your country. "At the forefront of the search effort."

I didn't know. Way to go!

I flew Malaysian airlines and they are excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to fly with them again , this incident hasn't deterred me.

Satellite image was only received this morning AEST

Could it have been a tomnod photo that tagged it?

I know that they had repositioned their satellites in the first few days to the gulf of Thailand. I know the maps were changing a couple of times a day.

Ditching is what Captain Sully did in the Hudson River.
Sometimes it works out like his did... and sometimes it does not.
IF this is the plane...
I hope that these people didn't survive the accident only to stay out there for this long. :please:

I saw an aviator talking about that in relation to this plane. He mentioned that the Hudson river is a smooth surface. He also said there's a reason they call it the "miracle" on the Hudson. It's never been done before as far as I know. Choppy sea waters would make it almost impossible.

Reporter in Malaysia is saying their was a collective gasp when hearing the size of the object in image

Guy saying if crew was incapacitated and 1 person managed to fly the aircraft and tried to ditch it?

Gosh I am doing speculation and we have not even confirmed the original speculation yet.

WARNING ALERT - Malaysian press conference is imminent according to CNN.

Why doesn't Anderson have some real experts on which could help us like oceanographers to talk about currents and whether or not it's possible the plane could have crashed near Malaysia and then debris floated all the way down in this time?

I'm actually feeling sorry for these dolts scrambling to make conversation; I've heard the word "blob" bandied about more times than it ever should be.

I think Anderson Cooper is a straight shooter, he is not looking to paint a fictional story. JMO

An Australian Hercules will drop marker buoys in the area highlighted by the satellite imagery. The marker buoys provide information about water movement to assist drift modelling and will provide an ongoing reference point if the task of relocating the objects becomes protracted.

The waiting for news must be agonizing for the families. Continued prayers for the passengers, crew and families.
