Would it be possible that an unnoticed gas leakage (in the cockpit for example) causes an explosion by someone lightening a cigarette?

So what happened to the theory that the plane may have u-turned and traveled in the opposite direction for miles? How could they possibly be so wrong about that? And CNN is reporting that no compilation of the wreckage would be as large as the satellite pics show, so what the heck would be that large?

BBM~ That theory is no more because they went back to the original search area and that's where the Chinese satellite images' location is.

Chinese state science administration shows satellite images of three objects, up to 24m in size, 123nm east of #MH370 last position.

So, this tells me it went down real fast.

As per last thread, questions about radar ranges.
This article has been posted before (probably) but provides a simple explanation of the strength and weaknesses of radar capabilities.
There isn't a specific altitude given where radar detection is or isn't possible but mentions the 200 miles from coastline range.

I don't believe that Flighttradar24 has the same capabilities as ATC (air traffic control).
Is this a true statement?

The chinese satellite location and the oil rig guys location are in different areas.

Chinese Satellite location is east of Kota Bahura #2

Oil Rig guys co ordinate/location Map and he states object/plane is 50 to 70 km from compass bearing 265 to 275 from his surface location

Yes, I would think so.

"The behavior of the 27-year-old co-pilot of the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 has been questioned as it has emerged that he had once invited teenage girls inside the cockpit and smoked during the flight.
The incident took place in 2011 in an international flight.
Jonti Roos, one of the South African tourists who were invited inside the cockpit, told Australia's Channel 9 that the pilots were smoking and were also posing for photos. The teenage girls stayed inside the cockpit for the entire duration of the flight.
Both smoking and passengers visiting the cockpit are strictly prohibited in most of the airlines, including Malaysia Airlines."

I thought I'd post this picture just to highlight how beautiful Aviation is, and it's not as bad as it seems. It's very safe and also beautiful method of travel. One thing I have to say is, the view you get is outstanding (Especially as a pilot :) )

This of course is the left wing of 9M-MRO - the missing airplane. (cn 28420)

This was confirmed in New Zealand Herald that an oil worker spotted burning plane and sent an email immediately to Viet Nam the copy of the full letter (confirmed) in the link above - man gave very detailed information -- including wind currents and exact navigation coordinates

The NZ oil rigger's coordinates: 8°22'30.2"N 108°42'22.3"E

Now, the fun math part. What were the coordinates of it's last know location? :please:

If the Chinese saw it on satellite, they need to zone in and send ships ASAP.

Most passengers were Chinese, i'm glad someone can see something.

I suppose it can be anything, the 2006 Tsunami was in that neck of the woods.

:scared:

Yeah, but the pics are from Sunday!

Thanks!

Can you guys re-size your pics? They are blowing the margins. Please :praying: don't quote those posts~! :tyou:

Am I the only person old enough around here to remember smoking on planes? Sheesh, it used to be commonplace!

Yeah, but the pics are from Sunday!

If that's the case, something fishy may be going on.

I deleted my larger image and just have the smaller one now...

As a matter of fact I smoked on Malaysian Airlines in 1994 when I flew overseas to KL from LAX. Yes, I do remember, and it was an easier long haul flight.

??? Borrowing a quote from the movie "Philadelphia" explain it to me like I'm a two year old. Originally Malaysian Air Force officials said it may have strayed hundreds of miles to the west. How can they just say oops! never mind! So confused :scared:
