I think it may not be a hole in the fence, but more like the fence doesn’t fully enclose the area.
There’s a photo at the link of this fence (my eyes aren’t that great—I had to enlarge the pic to see the green chain link fencing on the right half of the photo) and the caption reads:

Also are the police searching all the other houses on the site? Including the owners house.
There has been no mention at all (I think) about the others tourists staying on the site. Were all others houses being occupied?
I have those questions too. We have heard nothing about how many houses were occupied and whether LE searched the whole resort thoroughly. We only heard that the owners and guests searched around the resort on the first day.
