Thank you so much for sharing these photos with us. I have a gold necklace almost exactly like the one shown so I am familiar with it. It also cleared up what the ring looked like and I wanted to say that the back seat of the Caddy looked awfully cramped for someplace to put your feet. Makes me wonder if she were in the front seat as the two people claimed or if she was in the backseat attempting to keep her from jumping out of the car.

I have the same necklace as well-isn't that funny!!!

FMW-you are great to share these with us. Please send me the hospital photo via email and I would appreciate it muchly. Let me know if you need my addy again...

Can someone send me the images individually and not as a composition of composites? Shaine's having trouble viewing the composition of composites that someone emailed me. PM me and I'll send you my email addy if you don't already have it.

Nevermind. I opened it up and uploaded it to Photobucket and sent him the link.

He said right off the bat that she resembled the last two images (the one the forensic artist drew and one that a very talented Websleuther did (sorry, I'm not sure who did that one)).

I asked him if there was anything he would change about either drawing to make it more closely resemble what he remembers MJD looking like in life. I'll let you all know what he says.

Can you show me which composite you showed him so I can see which were "the last 2"?

I did a couple of those, and I'm curious if one of mine was the one he picked!

Hi Angie: It was this one:
MJD_ID_TawniLee.jpg

The 5th one is the forensic artist's sketch and I'm not sure who did the 6th one.

Let me know... :)

Yep, I did that last one! Please let me know what he says to change and I'll get right on it!

HEY GUYS! :) I GOT A RESPONSE FROM SHAINE! He said she most closely resembles the last two images. He says 6 is definitely the closest and that one and six are very similar....

Six is definitely the closest. One and six are very similar. I can't really add anything.

Hi Shaine,

The file is a compilation of 6 individual images that were compiled into a single image. I don't think there are 3 sets of images.

I saved the file to Photobucket. Hopefully you will be able to view them larger that way. Try clicking on this link:
MJD_ID_TawniLee.jpg

You can click the image to make it even larger if you need to. That should work for you. Let me know if it doesn't.

You said she looks like the last two images on the set of 6. Are you sure? Is there anything you think you would change to make her look more like how she looked in life?

Thanks again

I found them; however, I don't seem to be able to do anything with them to look at them. There are six small photos on the list you sent, and there are apparently three sets of photos. I downloaded them, and then got nowhere fast. The woman looks like the person in the last two small photos. How do I look at the rest of the photos--can you walk a computer dunderhead through the procedures? A 'puter is a typewriter with a memory and a spell checker.

Hi Shaine,

I emailed you an image file (jpg) of a bunch of composites some of the other Websleuthers created. I sent it to your yahoo email and it should be there by now. If not, check your junk/spam folder. Let me know if you didn't get it.

Also, I thought you did an excellent write up of the event. So good that reading it gave me the chills.

I would like to see a composite photo. It would be easier for me (I'm not very computer savvy), if you put it on your myspace profile and let me know where it's at.

I'm happy to help you folks.

BTW, What did you think of my write up of the event?

Everyone at Websleuths is saying a great big THANK YOU for all of your help and for your information (if you haven't been by and seen it yourself)!!!

Also, there is an article on Maricopa Jane Doe in the Phoenix New Times. Here's a link if you were interested in checking it out (WARNING: postmortem pic at link, sorry, kinda used to warning people...): http://phoenixnewtimes. com/2008-07-17/news/suzi-dodt-s-on-a-mission-to-return-the-n

Sorry I don't have the pics of her in the hospital .... yet?

I have been off the thread for about a week. My 8 year old niece was climbing a tree and a limb broke, was operated on for a broken arm, and later passed away from a bleed in her brain unrelated to the fall. Long story but please keep us in your prayers. She had a breathing tube and now I can understand how MJD's mouth was swollen after her hospital stay. The tubes and tape around my precious niece's mouth and nose made her not look like the same person to me.

auburnmommyof2,

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of such a young member of your family. May her memories carry you and your family through your time of greif.
We will keep you and your family in our prayers. :blowkiss:

Wow, 1 and 6. 6 kind of freaks me out as the pic is the spitting image of someone I worked with in the Chi town area in the mid 90's. though, she was 18 or 19 at least 4 years prior to our MJD being found.

Dee, do you think if we uploaded the pending not ruled out matches Shaine would be interested in looking at them?

If we can compile a single list, I would be happy to upload them to photobucket for you. If anyone thinks this is a good idea, let's put a list together on the possible match thread.

Oh Auburnmommy - I'm so very sorry. Your family is in my prayers. Stay strong.

Shaine says he was the first one on the scene. I highly doubt that he would have taken her purse, then years later mention it to us. I believe he is a credible witness and honestly do believe what he says regarding MJD. I highly doubt that Shaine would have taken this girl's purse.

Shaine mentioned there was someone else there, a college student with a cell phone, who called the police then left. Then Tribal Police arrived on the scene, followed by the paramedics.

I'm assuming that since Shaine saw that there were condoms in her purse that it must have been open and either on her person or very near the vicinity of her body. Shaine says he was with her, holding her hand.

If the purse was on or near her body, maybe the paramedics lost the purse on the way to the hospital (or stole it)? Maybe someone at the hospital took it after she died? Who knows?

I wonder if any of the other witnesses (the truck drivers) could confirm or deny the appearance of a purse as her body flew out of the car?

Dee - I certainly never meant to imply that Shaine took MJD's purse! I'm just saying that it does not appear to be on the list of evidence. I'm grateful to Shaine for the fact that he held her hand and that he is willing to share his experience with us here. :blowkiss:

I hate to harp on this - but I do believe MJD's tatoo is a brand of some kind. I strongly feel that it should be rather simple for LE to figure out whose "girl" she was. I have leaned heavily toward Lipsey, but whoever her "boyfriend" was should be simple to figure out. IMO

Been out for a while-- I'm sooo enthralled that Shaine has been contacted.. and great work on the composite, Angie! When I signed on I was so excited to see how much progress you have all made!

:clap::clap::clap::clap:

I, too, believe her tattoo is a brand of some sort.
