Thank you for the link. It doesn't say how much was donated or whether the money came from donations or from their own monies. I'm assuming it was from other people's donations based on the fact Crystal & Chad apparently didn't have enough money (apparently) to support Haleigh before she went missing.

I find it a bit odd that they didn't support TES until the Misty stuff came out, but I guess it's a case of better late than never and I am glad they are using some of their money in the search for Haleigh.

I also don't doubt that Cindy & George miss Caylee, but imo, that doesn't justify anyone profitting from her death and I'd feel the same IF people were profitting from Haleigh going missing.

Thank you for being rational and intelligent regarding this irrelevant issue! I just do not see where anyone can believe that any money is still coming in to the center in donations. Even knowing of those who are fervent supporters of CS on the numerous boards, I have not seen a single one of them stating that they are donating anything to HBC!

Some people seem to lose their basic sense of reason and assume that because they may be consumed/obsessed with this case, that the whole world is, also. Truth be known, 99.9% of Americans probably don't even give a thought to Haleigh on a daily basis. Many of them have never even HEARD of her at all. Therefore, few, and very, very few are concerned enough to still be sending any donations at all. Those who have devoted an inordinate amount of their time and efforts to forums such as this tend to get a skewed view of the way others may be thinking and acting.

Is the "state comptroller" involved in this? I'm not from Florida...can someone tell me who the "state comptroller" is? I recall alot of sleuthing being done re the CMAF, but don't recall mention of the "state comptroller".

Many people across America and elsewhere in the world watch Nancy Grace, and it wouldn't surprise me if some of them felt sorry for Crystal and/or Ron and donated to them.

I wouldn't think any of these people get much in the way of donations these days, if they ever did, since there are plenty of children have gone missing since Haleigh and the publicity hasn't been always sympathetic.

Kool Look, I think I have pretty much covered the Cummings thread. I have never seen a donation to anything from any Cummings...maybe I haven't looked hard enough.

When you find out, please let me know what the cost of the Tattoos RC had done would be, the truck, and the attorneys and who is supporting him and his two children.

I haven't seen anything that says Ron has established a foundation or is looking to make a career out of this....hope that helps.
 
Didn't KP say she paid some HBC bills out of her own pocket?

Call me cynical but I think it probably cost more than it brought in. If it had been a hugely profitable venture giving salaries to Crystal and Marie and who knows how many people besides them it might still be operational.

The state is supporting Jordan since Amber refused to do a DNA tests. Attorneys are pro bono and the tattoo was donated. Maybe the truck was bought with his tax refund.
 
Just think if they are still getting donations, Ron will get money his money from it to help support him and his children.....so all is good right?
 
Oh yeah ...tax refund..forgot about that...he gets to claim both kids on EIC form and collect thousands each year..glad you reminded me. Another source of income for him..

..I wasn't talking about Jordan..RC doesn't want to claim him..it would mean child support. I was talking about Ron, Misty and Jr.....all three have to be supported by RC now....how's that happening?

She did say that, no way to know if it is true at this point unfortunately.

Has it been dissolved? Or is it still operational in a financial sense without the physical center?
 
Regardless, we are hear to discuss Marie G. She has been wonderful through this whole event. Her writings and Crystal's writing about Haleigh have come from the heart and should touch all of us. I feel so bad for all involved with this tragedy. I wish Misty and Ron would tell what they know and stop all this craziness.
 
Cajun...could I have a source of how all three attorneys needed by the two of them are working pro bono?
