@winknews After about 2 hours, the defense finished their cross of Curtis Wayne Wright with a question about whether Wright told Mark Sievers about the murder. "I tried to talk to him once while I was down for the funeral but no... he didn't want to talk about it". #SieversTrial @winknews

HYPOTHETICALS, really??? "So Mr. Wright, you have never landed a shuttle on the surface of the moon, correct sir??"

That is a cheap and amateurish question by MM. He better get smarter if he wants to do a good job against CWW!!
My point is,it doesn't make any difference, CWW does not have control of whether or not the prosecution demanded one....AND THE RESULTS AREN'T ADMISSIBLE ANYWAY!!!!!
(That is amateur mistake #2 by MM. In my opinion. This is not a bush league DUI case. This is a high profile murder case. Step up your game.)

I agree it’s a silly question, but it is relevant. It’s part of his plea deal that he would lose if he failed a polygraph. Which says to me that State attorneys don’t think he’s telling the whole truth, they don’t want him to take a polygraph. They need him to look credible.[/QUOTE]
SCALEX....thank you for "shoving me in the right direction." :D Am I confused, or incredibly naive??:) How can anyone make a deal that includes a polygraph that is not admissible anyway? Shouldn't MM have taken up that issue with the prosecution? And even if CWW had taken one, then MM would have said, "Polygraphs are not an accurate science, blah, blah, blah." It just seems like a rabbit hole question that will NEVER go anywhere. Why am I so confused? Law & Crime are still showing cross but I see tweets saying they are done.

The prosecution asked Wright what was said during one of their conversations regarding protecting Angela Wright.

"You said that there was nothing in our agreement to protect her," said Wright, adding that the prosecutors never threatened him or his wife, Angela Wright.

#SieversTrial - Cross-examination done. Now on redirect by prosecutor: Do you know if the medical practice was bankrupt?
Wright says he doesn't know that only that the information came from Mark.

@winknews The state in their redirect asked Wright to read a loud a text message sent from Mark Sievers just days before the murder. The text talked about getting rid of an old computer and hard drive. Wright testified this was really talking about their "other" phones. #SieversTrial
