If people are supplying drugs illegally, yep - they should be charged.

Yet another celebrity might be involved, besides Brooke Mueller:

"Now, in another world exclusive, In Touch has exclusively learned that a second celebrity friend could be entangled in Matthew’s drug death investigation, which is being conducted by the LAPD, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. According to a source, this second star and Matthew both claimed to be sober but were in fact 'walking pharmacies' who engaged in late-night chats about their addictions, sobriety battles and personal lives."

I think it's possible Matthew had been contemplating suicide for awhile. He sold all his real estate and set his assets up into a Trust ($120M+) was renting the home in which he died, wrote his 'tell all' book just a couple of years before he died. He had a very specific will spelled out, and part of that was setting up the Matthew Perry Foundation, helping those fighting the disease of addiction. Good on him.

He was the funniest member of the cast in Friends IMO, even though he didn't receive the most attention or praise.

IDK, he just seemed so tired of it all to me and became so reclusive in his last years. The dose of Ketamine he had in his system was way over the therapeutic amount and if it can be proven who gave/sold it to him, charge them IMO. Although I believe if someone wants to die by suicide, there isn't much anybody can do to stop them.

RIP Matthew

"Matthew Perry’s death is poised to expose a seedy underbelly of Hollywood drug dealing — with some well known names caught up in the investigation into the ‘Friends’ star’s fatal ketamine overdose.

Page Six is told the LAPD — which is overseeing the criminal investigation in conjunction with the US Drug Enforcement Administration and the US Postal Inspection Service — is now preparing for a press conference to announce possible charges, which could even include involuntary manslaughter."

An arrest was made in Southern California on Thursday in connection with the accidental overdose death of actor Matthew Perry, law enforcement sources told NBC News.

Perry, 54, was found face down in the heated end of a pool at his Pacific Palisades home on Oct. 28, 2023. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office attributed his death to the acute effects of ketamine, an anesthetic with psychedelic properties.

Los Angeles police said in May that it was working with federal authorities to investigate the source of the ketamine Perry had consumed.

This report says multiple people arrested, but not including Charlie Sheen's ex-wife Brooke Muller.

"Multiple people have been arrested in connection with Matthew Perry’s overdose death, according to TMZ.

The outlet reported Thursday that at least one doctor and several drug dealers have been arrested following law enforcement launching an investigation into Perry’s passing.....

The DEA, U.S. Postal Service and LAPD are all involved in the investigation, which was confirmed in May."

From the article:

Guess it's uncommon if you're unfortunate enough to just be a normal member of society.
I have seen lots of comments on news stories from people upset this was being followed up on. In most overdoses, there may not be any way to determine who provided the drugs. But in this case there was, because it was probably given by a physician. I fully support these investigations.
