State police investigators notified departments from across the state, as well as Pennsylvania and Delaware of the bodies that were recovered.

Also from the article (paraphrased)...Could be from any number of areas, and it doesn't appear that the bodies are connected, given they were found on different sides of the dam, unless they were purposefully dumped on either side.
Autopsies to be performed tomorrow morning.

They can't even tell what the races are?
This is weird, the time that this was printed was before KB came on FB and said its not PB, I am so not clear on this matter?

KB could easily have been referring to the other bodies found in the last week. A male in a park in B'more, and the young woman others mentioned earlier on p. 6 or 7.

Can someone please tell me:
How long does it take for water to decompose a body beyond recognition?
race, age, etc.

If it is P, they should know very soon, I imagine...her DNA and/or dental records are surely on file.

I barely know what to hope for anymore; obviously these are two people who have been missing from somewhere. P needs to be found, somehow. But it would be truly awful if this is her.

So KB must not have known about this lastest news?
I am not sure why, because she posted the comment just over an hour ago?
So why would she not know about the lastest discoveries?

Will someone please post the date if the post with all the comments on her fb page? I want to read what was written but can't find it anywhere

The admins of the pager are being very diligent about removing any posts that go against the terms of the page. So the posts in question (about the two bodies found) are gone right now.

If that tweet is really from her cousin...that seems a very strange, cold way to phrase it...

Here is a very thorough article that talks about effects of water on bodies.
http://www.dundee.ac.uk/forensicmedicine/notes/water.pdf

I skimmed it pretty quick, but I did not see any mention of the effects of race. The cold, cold temperatures will help preserve a body.

So why are they not releasing a race, and are still not sure?
Once again the media can't get it together and tell it straight.
All of these different news reports.

I thought that the body should at the least revealed what race it is?

I was referring to the comments mentioned in post 123 on this thread. I am curious what the siblings had to say. I guess it's been removed?

Not sure what to make of all this...

WMAR website is saying black female:
http://www.abc2news.com/dpp/news/region/cecil_county/two-bodies-found-at-conowingo-dam

Also there is a woman posting on Twitter saying she is PB's cousin and that the body recovered at Conowingo is Phylicia. Not sure if she's getting this from the family or internet rumors though...

Above the dam in debris, makes it more decomposed than emerged in water?

The comment from KB was still there earlier, you just have to scroll down and find it amongst other postings. In regards to post 123 and not the lastest.

I still can't forget LE saying in the beginning that she may have been taken out of state. We don't know if this is Phylicia or not, but if it is her, then I wonder if someone actually put the body in the river in Pennsylvia and it was carried downstream. It doesn't make sense for someone to put a body that close to a dam, kwim?

Good point. With freezing or near freezing waters back in late December, it could have taken a long time for a body to rise to the surface. I wonder what fishing areas are north of the dam.

I just scrolled back through the prayer page, and I can find the 35-comment one, which does not have any B-family posts. But the one from last night had 75 comments when I closed my computer for the night. So if you are seeing it, maybe you could post the day/time, so we can find it more easily.
Thanks in advance
