Emails & Pregnancy, I am really wondering what is next, what is going to be out there tomorrow? Resolution to this case would be a godsend!

What was in the emails or can you direct me to the link. I must have missed it. Hope something breaks soon.

I'm going to take a wack at answering your questions.

1. I found the quote you were asking about when researching how the Mormon faith views murder.

2. The media thread has articles about the emails and pregnancy. Within 24 hours we had two major stories after months of silience. First that computer evidence has been seized and second that the autopsy of Janet revealed that she was pregnant at the time of her murder.

3. The link to Steve's blog works for me. I'm not sure why it won't work for you. You might want to check the thread about Misc. Links of Interest / Not Media. We collected up all misterallgoods blogs and placed them there.

Re: the emails, if you look at the thread regarding the Disk Seized you will find that information.

Confusion indeed regarding Laci & Conner's Law. I stated on this thread the link to the law and notice in Section B - see the words DOES NOT. I take this to mean, that whether or not the murderer knew that the victim was pregnant, it just don't matter. This is the way I am reading it.

(B) An offense under this section does not require proof that--

• • `(i) the person engaging in the conduct had knowledge or should have had knowledge that the victim of the underlying offense was pregnant; or

I am so sad, so very sad at this news. Janet just became a statistic....homicide being the number one cause of pregnant women:furious: !

Does anybody know if Janet breastfed Kaiden? I'm thinking she didn't or stopped since she was working full time. So, if I assume she didn't and they weren't using any birth control, then there is no way raven didn't know! And then my question would be why not? raven not wanting another child and does nothing to prevent it???? If they were using birth control then maybe raven didn't know. Does anybody know this personal information about them?

IIRC it has to do with the murder of a pregnant woman and her unborn child on federal land....

I must be slow lately..lol. I don't understand...on federal land? My understanding of the law was that it covered every state anywhere. If a man murders a pregnant woman then he is charged with two murders period.

Since the media apparently has the autopsy report AND the report should contain the time of death (TOD), has the TOD been reported in any news media? Anyone want to email the reporter(s) who broke the pregnancy story and ask about the TOD?

It's a FEDERAL law that covers crimes committed on Federal property such as military bases. It does not supercede State laws, which cover most murders.

Lasat night I emailed Ms. Khanna at the News Observer about Janet's autopsy report and TOD. I'll let you know if and when she replies. In the meantime, could anyone else email another media outlet about it?
