Part 3 - The sexualization and molestation of JBR

IN MY OPINION, anyone with eyes to see could think that 6 year old JBR was sexualized for her beauty pageants. The Vegas showgirl outfit was over the top and allegedly matched on an ADULT Patsy wore for one of her pageants. Make of that what you will.

With JBR's natural beauty and intelligence there was NO REASON JRB needed to be glammed up and sexually gyrate (booty shake) at any moment in order to win. Who thought this was acceptable behavior? And what did this behavior open up JRB to? Obviously, PR thought it was fine as frog's hair otherwise JBR would not have done it.

Who the heck was molesting JBR?

If I read it right, according to the unsealed GJ indictment, the jurors thought that the parents could be indicted for "aiding and abetting child abuse" and "aiding and abetting first degree murder." Let that sink in deep. So what this is saying is the GJ was privy to evidence that BOTH parents could be aware, or were aware, that JBR was being abused and failed to stop it! Huh? WHAT!?

In addition, they are saying that the parents could be indicted for covering up for the person who committed first degree murder to her person. Well, three minus two equals one, does it not?

According to the GJ, and its indictment, the only person left was BR. Correct me if I am wrong.

And IF, PR was the one allegedly abusing JBR, then WHY was she always taking her to Dr. Boef?

What do we know about the brother? Well, he was whisked away the next morning by family friends within hours of the 911 call. I content that Burke was taken away from the home because: 1) He knew too much; 2) They were afraid he might talk to police or say something; and 3) They did not want him to BE THERE once JBR was discovered.

BR's relationship with his sister is not firmly known. There are stories of him having hit her with a golf club (!!!) and JBR being taken to a specialist to ensure she was okay. There are also stories of people coming upon JBR and BR sleeping or playing under bedsheets together. When discovered allegedly they told the interloper to LEAVE.

Some folks stated that Burke was not seemingly upset and as smiling at JBRs funeral. Kids are weird, I admit. And when FINALLY interviewed, Burke said he knew how JBR died and made a downward motion of her being hit on the head. Maybe he just heard people talking, right?

Part 4 coming.

Part 4 - The Freakin' Ransom Note

Oy vey. One of the most ridiculous pieces of evidence is simply staging, imo. Jonbenet was not kidnapped and, in fact, never left the damn house! PR could not be ruled out as the writer of the RN and numerous articles have been written that tie together her way of speaking, writing, and so on, with that found in the RN. The "note" was wordy, too long, and simply written to deceive.

The writer, although acting polite, was seething and had a deep-seeded animosity towards JR, imho. The comments calling him a "Fat Cat" and "Don't try and grow a brain, John." Also, the changing of the Mr. and Mrs. Ramsey false start to "Mr. Ramsey" solo are clues to me. Let's not forget that the RN was written from a pad in the Ramsey home. A practice RN was found in the same pad. Then pen used was also sourced from the Ramsey home and placed back where it belonged. Just like the pad.

One thing that always struck me as the most telling re: the RN is the fact that the TIME in which the alleged kidnappers were supposed to call to contact the R's came and went without nary a comment by either. EXCUSE ME? Why were they not sitting by the phone in drooling madness? Did they simply FORGET to fake being upset about the missed call? Jesus, take the wheel! In my opinion, no normal parent of a kidnapped child would FORGET the time for the call. They would be waiting on pins and needles.

I firmly believe that PR wrote the ransom note. I could be wrong. But I think she wrote it and that JR even dictated parts to her -- and hence -- her journalistic habits, punctuation, and word choice is all over it.

Part 5 - What was the weapon?

Was it the infamous flashlight or was it a golf club that inflicted the blunt force trauma? The flashlight could have done the job, it was found in the kitchen, wiped down, and the drawer it usually belonged was open. A flashlight at night, to me, is also a KID THING. Sneaking around with a flashlight. An adult owning the house does not need a flashlight. He or she would just flip the switch.

Part 6 - Autopsy and Sexual Trama

Poor JBR. The autopsy and various findings after the fact have made it clear to me that not only was JBR abused sexually on the night of her murder (EVEN IF IT WAS TO COVER PREVIOUS ABUSE), that she was also abused on at least one previous occasion. The words "chronic" are in the autopsy report. People dicker back and forth and refuse to consider that JBR could have been abused before because, well, it kind of blows he IDI theory out of the water. A group of specialists reviewed all the reports of JBRs injuries and ALL came to the conclusion that she was subjected to "chronic sexual abuse." We can read descriptions of her enlarged vaginal opening twice the normal size, eroded hymen, chronic inflammation, etc. It is so gross I need a shower now.

If JBR was enduring/suffering chronic sexual abuse, then WHO was abusing JBR? The GJ seemed to think the parents knew who it was.

Part 7 - Where was JBR first attacked?

I lean towards her bedroom because there was her blood on her pillow. It was not a lot of blood and likely not noticed by the perp. Maybe this is when she screamed and was heard by a neighbor. I am not sure where she screamed but I think the first attack happened in her bedroom. Also, factor in all the feces found there. I think some soiling and then changing went on there and in her bathroom - while she was unconscious.

Thinking she was dead or near dead, someone took that little child down to the basement. This is where I believe she was strangled. The urine is right there. The paintbrush was right there. The fragments from the brush are there. The bristles may have been the animal hair found on her. The fragment in her vagina may have come from the broken brush pushed up in her to "cover" previous abuse.

The choice of placing JBR in the furthest away place is very telling. That basement was a rabbit warren. A mess. With no "easy" exit point. Can someone squeeze thru the window and grate. Yes. But after a child screams and you need to RUN? Are you going to put yourself like a trapped rat in the wine cellar? Oh, heck no, you do not.

And again, the tools of the murder/staging are pretty much all there, BR's swiss army knife (allegedly there) to cut the rope, the paintbrush, etc. What is missing is the duct tape and the rest of the cord. Could it be the reason these items are missing is because there was a receipt that COULD have shown a Ramsey purchased items at McGuckins that cost the same price? I have no clue.

The staged scene was a mess. The "garrotte" was not one. It would not have worked as created. I mean, a pedophile IDI is going to spirit JBR away. If she screams he or she is simply going to RUN and leave her naked. They are NOT going to redress her, stage a fake strangulation with a garrotte, and so on. It just makes no sense.

Now, a parent, a parent may not want to leave their child in a state of undress. And someone had to pull down her panties (which are missing btw) to shove something up inside her. I posit the soiled and bloody Wednesday panties she wore to the Whites went the way of the duct tape and rest of the cord. The perp knew enough about the Ramsey's business to know PR bought an extra pack of clean panties, and where they were located, so they could just replace them. That is one perp who knows a LOT.

A perp that knows about the wine closet. A perp that knows where the light switches are located in that rabbit warren. A perp that knows about the silly wooden latch outside the wine closet. An "inside job," indeed.

Theonly1, I can see you put a great deal of time and thought into analyzing this crime. I hate to pay back such a monumental effort, that's really commendable in its scope, by breaking it down like this in my reply, but I think you're over-thinking it. Way over-thinking it. There's a saying in sleuthing, Rule 1. Don't try to re-invent the wheel. What it means is, take all the parts the crime has and put them together so that all of the parts fit to form one, cohesive picture. There is only one way I have found that fits all the parts together to explain all that happened, and that was in my OP. Although MPD (or DID) is a very rare condition, it does exist. There are documented cases. My belief is Patsy Ramsey suffered from MPD/DID. This explains the evidence of past abuse on JBR's genitalia. I believe one of the personalities, or alters, was child-sex-molester -- very likely caused by a history of sexual abuse in PR's childhood. I strongly suspect other alters were sometimes observed by people around her, but I think only PR and JR knew the truth. They both were invested in hiding it so no one knew. They both became adept at covering it up. I think JR never imagined there was someone so violent, full of rage, and dangerous as a homicidal alter. If he had, I think he would not have risked having the children alone with their sick mother. I think some major event must have happened the night of the murder to bring out a series of alters, including the raging homicidal one. The sexual molester emerged and performed those sick acts on the child, who was either dead or near-death at the time. Another alter wrote the ransom note with the misguided notion he/she was providing a solid cover. There may well been others that emerged during the hours the murder took place, playing various roles in the crime and cover-up. If you hold up my DID theory next to every piece of evidence, I think you will find, as did I, that it explains all of it, which no other theory to date has done, or can do.

Well, thanks for reading it! I was starting to think no one would. If PR had MPD why would JR permit public interviews? There would be too much of a chance an alter could pop out. I have studied abnormal psych. Just never considered MPD.

Yes, MPD. Also known as Dissociative Personality Disorder (DID). If you have a background in abnormal psych, you are a perfect person to hear my theory. I never considered it either, in all these years...until now. Like you, and probably everyone else here, I went over this crime, and picked over all the evidence--much of which was contradictory--like a gazillion times and I was never able to get all the pieces to fit. The so-called intruder theory never held up...not for a minute. It simply is not plausible. But to think any of the family members did all these horrible, insane things made no sense either. I can think of many reasons why a parent (or sibling) could accidentally kill one's own child, and I can think of many reasons why a parent or parents would cover up the accidental death of a child. I also know, sadly, there are people who sexually molest their own children, or other kids close to them. What I couldn't put together was why anyone, for any reason would do all the elaborate, horrible, shocking, perverted and incredibly stupid (the ransom letter) things done in this crime. No one covers up a child's death this way. Not unless the person was utterly insane. That's what got me thinking about mental illness in the crime. In another forum, there was a recent thread on the JBR murder, and one amateur sleuther addressed the puzzling issue of the contradictory motives presented. He concluded that the only explanation was that two or three different perps had to be involved...each with a different idea of what to do. That made absolutely no sense to me for about a hundred reasons. But his idea got me thinking about something else I had read from a few sources some time ago. That was a number of people interacting closely with PR in the weeks and days leading up to the tragedy commented that PR was acting oddly. She seemed to have sudden and extreme mood swings and erratic behavior. Linda Peugh, the housekeeper, went so far to actually say Patsy was acting really weird around the time--almost as if she had multiple personalities.

Then it just clicked. What if PR did have MPD? Can we say for sure she didn't? It's very possible someone with MPD, and people close to the sufferer who are aware of it, to keep it hidden from a great many people. I can totally see how people like John and Patsy Ramsey would be invested in protecting the secret like a pharoah's tomb. Next, I did as I have before with every theory, held the MPD theory up against every single known fact of the case. Something happened when I did that, something which never happened with any other theory I tested: every single scrap of evidence, every known fact, and every big question mark could be explained (without a crazy reach) by MPD. The only thing that stood between me proclaiming "I got it!" was the idea that thinking PR suffered from MPD seemed so out there and whacky. Then I thought about it. Is it really so out there and whacky? Well, why? It's not like saying PR was possessed by an evil demon or a space alien (both theories I have seen put forth). At least with MPD/DID we're talking about something that is known to exist---there are cases diagnosed by fully credible mental health professionals. True, it's considered very rare, but not sci fi. What if someone with MPD committed a murder with multiple alters participating? From that perspective, it's not nearly so hard to see why JBR's murder occurred as it did. I don't think it's outside the realm of imagination at all. It's certainly no more bizarre or freaky than the murder itself. I challenge you to test it out, Theonly1. Take each fact you know about the whole crime and view them through the lens of the MPD theory. See for yourself how solidly and logically it holds up. See if you can find one contradictory fact.

Why did JR allow PR to give interviews? I'm not aware she gave one interview alone to anyone outside the BPD....and that only after a year or more. I believe JR was with PR on every interview they gave to anyone. With the BPD, there was no choice. They stalled talking to LE as long as they could string it out. JR absolutely did not want his wife under the microscope by herself. At some point, he knew they had to give the interviews or they would be convicted in the court of public opinion, which would damage them badly in their social and business circles. I think he waited until he was as confident as he could be that PR could stay integrated through the scrutiny of the police interview---or at least that she could get through it without coming apart too badly. From what I know, she did OK.

The coroner's report detailed that JBR had something that resembled pineapple residue in her stomach. He described how it looked. And lo and behold once it was tested it matched down to the rind the pineapple left in the bowl in the Ramsey kitchen. BOTH PARENTS denied she ate pineapple that evening and it was NOT served at the White's party. According to the Ramsey's the White's party was the location at which JBR allegedly last consumed food -- cracked crab.

Next is Part 2...

How would you think, that the parents would be "unaware" that they had found pineapple in her stomach if they KNEW she ate it and that they had done an autopsy on her?

If they fed it to her, they would have to know it would show up in an autopsy? Why continue to insist that she couldn't have eaten it? Why not just say "she must have snuck down and eaten pineapple as a snack?"

I also agree, don't reinvent the wheel.

Here is my theory and it is pretty simple.

Burke gets Nintendo 64 for Christmas. While Burke and JR and assembly toys in basement, Burke notices that there are more presents in there. Burke and goes to bed late, JB goes to bed sooner, but she will get up out of bed (more on that in a minute). (Even PR has said that sometimes the kids are scooped up in their pjs so they can continue to sleep in the vehicle and on the plane when leaving early, indicating to me that she knows they stayed up late the night before on other occasions.) So JB is in bed, and Patsy gets the pineapple for Burke. Hence their fingerprints on the bowl. Burke goes to bed but he is playing his nintendo 64. He later gets up to go back to the basement with a flashlight to see if there are any different nintendo 64 games in the presents he saw earlier when putting the toy together with his dad. So he is in there with the flashlight. JB gets up when she has stomach pains. Her stomach pain is a result of eating left over crab earlier. Yes, left over crab. Death of Innocence page 8 JR's words, "Most of us helped ourselves to the snacks and hors d'oeuvres that Priscilla (White) had prepared, including leftover cracked crab, which they enjoyed as a family tradition on Christmas Eve." JB goes into her parents' bedroom and tells mommy about the belly ache. Remembering the pineapple (which is said to help aid digestion), Patsy knows that pineapple was not put back into the fridge. "Go downstairs and look on the bar and eat some pineapple honey. That will make your stomach feel better", she says. While JB is downstairs she grabs the pineapple but does not touch the bowl. Hence none of her fingerprints on the bowl. But pineapple was found in her belly. She goes back upstairs. JB gives it some time, but her belly is still hurting. She goes to mom again, but mom knows that she has to get up really early and does not want to get out of bed. "Go eat some more pineapple, Jon Benet", Patsy says. This time, JB is down there and does not eat more pineapple because she hears something in the basement. Of course, we know it is Burke (this is just bad timing) and he is in the basement looking for more nintendo 64 games. She goes down there to see if it is Santa Claus. She startles Burke or like a kid sees that it is him but he hasn't heard her come down so she scares him. At any rate, being in a mostly dark basement at night with just a flashlight, Burke turns around and swings that flashlight. Head injury. The rest is cover up by mommy and perhaps dad too. Patsy knows that when the autopsy is done, they will find the damage she had done to JB's private area and its jail time. So she stages the paint brush thing, in her stressed mind, that will be the reason for JB's private area injuries. The person that did this must have been molesting JB before. But, no. It is a cover for Patsy (vaginal injuries) and Burke (blow to head). Two in one cover. Either that or JR was covering his molestation of JB. Either way, Patsy was covering for either herself and Burke or JR and Burke.

I have not posted on this forum for quite some time and I told myself I would never come back here again because I thought it had become an unhealthy addiction for me to try to solve this case, but here I am back again with some insights I recently had about this case. Most people here will not accept these insights. They will dismiss them. I understand these people and why they think the way they do. These insights are for those who have an open mind and are willing to think outside the box. No more introduction. Here are the insights. Take them for what they are.

Jon Benet Ramsey (JBR) was dead by the time she was brought home from the party. That is the reason why there are major inconsistencies in the story, with one party saying she never woke up and was carried up to her bed and another saying she went in by herself. They didn't get their stories straight for the police because all versions told to the police of what happened are lies. They made up something that sounded good to police in the spur of the moment but none of it was truth.

By the time she was brought back to her house, she was already dead. She died at the party. Everyone who tries to deny or disqualify the fact that she died at the party is a liar. Burk gave you a hint when he said he touched an electric fence at the party. You didn't see the significance of that statement, as I didn't until now.

Be careful not to believe false testimony that is purposely given to lead everyone who investigates this case to a dead end. Why a dead end? Because you are looking in entirely the wrong place for answers. Even though the wrong place has been purposely loaded with false clues to make investigators THINK the murder happened at the Ramsey house it did not happen there. A lie repeated enough times becomes the truth and everyone immediately skips past the Christmas party the day of the murder. That "innocent" Christmas party seems to have no significance to the murder whatsoever, but that is intentional. Everyone worked together (including the parents) to conceal the fact that the murder happened outside of the Ramsey home. Everything the parents said about the "Christmas" party was a lie. PR is not a very convincing liar and the police saw through her lies about this party. Look at the questions the police asked PR about this party in the transcripts and you can see they are testing her to see if she is being truthful or not. Notice how vague PR is about what actually took place at this party. Things she should remember well she cannot remember at all. She can give no specific details about this party. The police suspect she is lying but they cannot prove it so they move on, but that testimony is very revealing if you go back and read it.

The party being held on Christmas day was not a Christmas party. It was a Satanic party. JR, PR, BR, and JBR were at the party, among many other people. I don't think this party was even held at the White house. I suspect it was held elsewhere, in some secret location. Burke's electric fence reference is significant here but make of it what you want.

It was at this party that JBR was raped, with her parent's approval by some very powerful and influential men. All the foreign DNA found comes from the men at this party.

Beyond this, I have two alternate sub-theories about what was intended to happen at this party:

Sub Theory 1: JBR was intentionally sacrificed during the party. A ritual sacrifice.

Sub Theory 2: It was not intended for JBR to die but something happened at this party that led to JBR's murder.

Of these two sub theories, sub theory 2 seems the strongest, although there is evidence for sub theory 1 (mainly the stun gun and its use on JBR's body).

But the main assertion of my entire theory is that JBR was NOT killed at her house. All the people running around in circles on this forum are looking for answers in the wrong place.

Realize this: It has never been solved up to now and it will never be solved in the future as long as people keep looking in the wrong place for answers. If you want to begin to solve this crime, focus 100% of your attention on where the Ramsey's were before they supposedly drove back to their house merrily passing out Christmas presents like Santa Claus. You bought that lie like so many others. Does that sound even remotely like the truth to you or just some fairy tale spun to make the Ramsey's look like saints. You believed the false witness testimony of those who said they saw the Ramsey's come to their house. Did you notice, as I did, that those people were not always consistent in the stories they told about that? They were stories. They were lies. All this was fiction to get you to not look at what happened BEFORE they went back to their house that night. Don't be deceived by the lies that have been told to conceal the truth.

A party DID take place that day but it wasn't a Christmas party. This party had nothing to do with Christmas in the conventional sense of celebrating it as most people know of it. This party was Satanic in nature and sexual in nature and involved sex with JBR and the other young children at the party.

The main thing I want to stress in all of this is that this murder is much bigger than JBR. This murder, if properly investigated would expose something HUGE that most people don't even suspect is happening behind the scenes. This is the reason why the murder has never been solved and likely never will be solved, because it would reveal something that cannot be allowed to be revealed.

This murder can be solved, but to do so you have to look where you have not even thought to look before. They have had you chasing false clues on these forums for almost 20 years now. Do you still want to continue on that merry-go-round or are you finally ready to see something?

There is more to this insight but I will leave it here for now. If someone wants to start a new thread based on this theory I will come on and will add details I have seen.

I like the way you think. I already put forth the theory that this was a Satanic Ritual sacrifice. I always felt that something happened at that Christmas party. But, like everyone else, I believed she was killed at home. Now you have got me thinking again. I already tried to locate Satanic groups in Boulder or Denver, but no luck. All I found was a reference on a forum to a Fat Cats Pedophile Network in Denver.I believe everything in the house was staging except for the day to day clutter.I just never really considered a secondary crime scene.Makes a lot of sense to me.

You do realize that livor mortis is a scientific and medical reality and not dependent on opinion or theory. If she had been killed anywhere other than her own house there would be more than one livor patten to indicate that she had been moved around. There was only one. We all have different theories, but whatever they may be, the scientific and medical facts of the process of death cannot be ignored for the sake of a theory.

Do you think that the Fat Cat that was mentioned in the ransom note was meant for this (Fat Cat Pedophile Network?)

Hi Everyone,
Please remember this is a Theory thread only. Not a discussion thread.

Thank you

Everything was staged. From the window to the dna. Hand print. Ransom note. Even the murder of jonbenet. The killer didn't want any of his dna in direct contact. So he can get away with murder. Has he done this before? I don't know. Patsy didn't kill her. But she did write the ransom note. The older son and father have a very strong tie to this murder. That's my theory.

Let me clarify when I say staged I mean dna placement. Not the actual murder weapons.
Thats real.

I have read several books discussing the JBR case, the most recent of which was Law and Disorder, by John Douglas. I strongly believe that an intruder killed JonBenet, and the extent of her injuries and the depravity of the crime is beyond the capabilities of the Ramseys and are the work of an unsophisticated sexual predator. Here is my theory, based on what I've learned about the case:
The Ramseys are a very wealthy, prominent, and high-profile family in the community. They regularly go to parties, host parties, etc. Many people have access to their home or have spent substantial time in it, whether it be as party guests, as employees (housekeepers, contractors, repairmen, etc.) friends, neighbors, or business acquaintances. The killer knows them in one or more of these capacities, and lives in the area. He resents their wealthy, leisurely, and luxurious lifestyle, outgoing personalities, and, perhaps, what he perceives to be the arrogance and entitlement associated with it. Resentment and jealousy. That, and he is a pedophile, and believes that JonBenet is the ultimate fantasy- probably leading to a fixation on her. He is familiar with her pageant life and feels this is just one more way that the Ramseys anger him. He may even be subconsciously resentful that she is made to look like a mature woman in a child's body- thereby embodying his distorted and deviant sexual desires. He feels unfairly, yet compulsively, lured by it, believing that he wouldn't have this tendency toward pedophilia if girls like JonBenet weren't paraded around to easily feed his fantasy. He is filled with self-loathing and anger. His deviant tendencies may substantially interfere with his life- he may have difficulty in relationships, making friends, holding down a job, because he is sociopathic, a pedophile, and has both an inferiority complex/low self-esteem, and an inflated, narcissistic sense of himself. Successful, happy people like the Ramseys make him feel more dysfunctional and inadequate. He feels like a victim in life, even though he thinks he deserves all the things in life that others have. He feels misunderstood. He feels like he's a loser that has failed in life, while arrogant people like the Ramseys get to be happy and successful. He thinks they are rude, haughty, or insensitive, based on encounters he has had with them (probably mostly JR, hence the focus on him in the RN). He had probably been sexually obsessing over JonBenet for awhile, and planned to sexually assault her and either take her from the house to assault her and then kill her, or do so in the Ramsey house.
He encounters JonBenet in the days leading up to the murder, and probably tries to be friendly with her, telling her things like she is pretty, etc. He may not scare her and feels comfortable talking to her because he is immature and childlike himself. At some point, he tells her that since she is so special, she'll probably get a special visit from Santa, or may have said something like he knows Santa, and could get Santa to visit her on Christmas night. She told several people this: that she was getting a special visit from Santa. This would explain why she did not scream when "Santa" came to her room to wake her up- she was expecting it. It would also explain why this particular night was chosen by the offender:
a) it gave him a way to get cooperation and trust from JonBenet,
b) he knew the Ramseys would be out of the house during the day and there would be a lot of commotion and activity at the house when they returned home,
c) they would all be preoccupied with holiday festivities, packing, gifts, etc. and therefore, would have their guards down and be exhausted,
d) he could bring a bag of supplies with him in his Santa bag, perhaps even put JonBenet in it (after rendering her unconscious with the stun-gun- which I strongly believe, based on the autopsy and forensic expert analysis, was used on her) to get her out of the house, and
e) avoid suspicion if anyone saw him going into or out of the house or walking down the street, since it was Christmas (so a man in a Santa costume carrying a heavy bag would not raise concern by any witness- who would likely think whatever he was doing was planned for the sake of children).
This theory also explains some of the weird aspects of the case. The pineapple was part of his ruse to gain her trust after bringing her downstairs, showing that she went with him willingly at first. The ransom note was written while the Ramseys were out earlier in the evening, either because he really planned to take her (but kill her anyway) and this would add further pain to the Ramsey's situation, or, if he couldn't get her out or killed her while in the basement, it would throw them off his track. Maybe he thought that the Ramseys wouldn't call police right away because of the RN, giving him more time to get away, establish an alibi, etc. Maybe he thought they wouldn't check the house if they thought it was a kidnapping, in case he was still in the house when they woke up and found it. The basement was the furthest away from the bedrooms and main living quarters of the house and not used as often, so just as he had entered while they were out and waited down there, he may have believed that he could leave again after the Ramseys left (either to get money/pay ransom or go to the police) because the RN would have made them think she was kidnapped. It would also delay the discovery of her body, perhaps making time of death harder to pinpoint and so his alibi could be less exact or he could leave town.
All of this points to someone familiar with the layout of the house, someone acquainted enough with the Ramseys to need an alibi, and someone who feels the need for things to be in place (such as the RN) to misdirect everyone away from him as a suspect. It also points to someone who is brazen enough to gain entry to the house undetected and go through their things (notepad, pen, JR's bonus check info, the pineapple, the unopened girl's underwear). This points to a sophisticated peeping-tom that went on to breaking and entering and burglary, and now, it has escalated to kidnapping, sexual assault and murder (perhaps for the first time).
In addition, all of this points to an inexperienced offender, but one with a rich fantasy life. He is someone who has thought about committing such a crime for awhile, and started as a peeping-tom or watching child *advertiser censored* until it wasn't enough to satisfy him. But, the use of items in the house, the RN, and the hasty attempts to alter the body (covering it, putting on the underwear, etc) shows his disorganized methods and inexperience. Things did not go as he had planned, he panicked, and then he tried to cover up certain things or misdirect the family. The use of the stun-gun and the RN show his preoccupation with crime and violence- he probably watches a lot of violent films and tv shows and may even belong to fan groups or online forums for such things, which is how he would have come to acquire a stun-gun; he has a very unsophisticated and pop-culture influenced relationship to crime and violence- his methods are over-the-top and dramatic, (e.g. all of the crime cliche phrases used in the RN and the stun-gun- very mobster/action movie/Hollywood-manufactured ideas of crime) and show someone who is unsophisticated, young, and ignorant.
That's why the crime has so many things about it that seem contradictory, strange, inconsistent, amateur, etc. He planned it, and tried to be an organized/sophisticated offender, but lacked any real knowledge about how to do so, and therefore, everything ended up disorganized and looked way too suspicious because it was so staged and theatrical. His attempt to throw everyone off and get back at the Ramseys (and the world as a whole) through what he thought was an ingenious plan, a perfect murder, backfired when he couldn't control everything. He may have thought that committing such a crime without getting caught would validate him as a person and make him feel superior and smart, since he has deep inferiority issues and self-loathing even with sociopathic, narcissistic tendencies. That was not his primary motive, however. The crime was sexually-driven. JonBenet was the target and sexually assaulting her was his main goal. He did not need to ejaculate there for this to be his primary motive. He could fantasize about the crime later in private. Luckily, for him, the actions of the police and Ramseys in the hours after the crime were as unsophisticated and disorganized as he was in dealing with a murder, so he got away with it.

It may be that an intruder did it, but he was not sophisticated nor a stranger. This crime could have been committed by a teenager or college kid with a key and knowledge of the alarm code. I have always thought it was Burke because they SEALED HIS MED RECORDS IMMEDIATELY. I can see sealing JBs records, but why innocent little Burke only 9 3/4 years old? That was a preemptive move, because there is something in there they would not want revealed.

But after reading what Beckner said and Wecht said in an interview I just heard last night I have changed my opinion.

the chronic abuse according to Wecht, was done only several days before. So the parents may have been right when they said no abuse was occurring in the home. The recent abuse, the MEs agreed happened after death!! to cover up what had happened previously.

So what is the answer? When it looked like JB was dead, the perp was so panicked he may have alerted the family and then fled. Remember the family knew him.
Parents had to cover up what happened with the elaborate staging and ransom note. The ransom note was known to be fake by LE and FBI ---
It was not a criminal who wrote it.

If the cops had done their work and checked to see WHO had access to JB as much as 72 hrs before the crime, they would be on the right track. Because the most recent trauma occurred between 48-80 hrs before. Based on the degree of healing or non healing because
according to Cyril Wecht, the previous abuse of say 6 months before would not be visible as the vagina will heal.

There was a young adult male seen by a neighbor in the alley heading toward the Ramsey house some days near the murder. He was indentified but then the neighbor backtracked.

the man was able to "prove" he was not in Boulder when the event happened. But I read years ago, that there were no family pics of him on that date, only the word of his family as to the timing. It was Christmas and no photos of him with his family?

Qhow you are on the right track but yu assume it was a stranger. Isn't it convenient that all the items needed that night were in the house including the pad and pen to write the freakin RN? And the most important item, that would have netted the money ---the body--- was left there for the family to find.

The house was locked up according to JR. Then again, maybe the person was able to get inside with his key before the house was locked.
When the parents knew who it was and what happened, they made him leave and they relocked the house. But that was wrong to do, because it put the suspicion on them since no one had an entry point.

Maybe this this theory is new to you.
I saw some of Beckner's answers and recently listened to an interview here on WebSleuths by Wecht. They BOTH allude to a person who knew how to get into the house and knew the layout of the basement. they are trying to tell you who they think did it but legally they will not say it is JR, JAR or Burke or \Patsy. Only that it was an inside job.

Beckner says the head trauma was first. Wecht says no, the head trauma was second. But both say the head injury was in absolute rage. the blow literally split her skull apart.
