May Jerry and Frances Williamson Rest In Peace

An elderly Mississippi couple who contracted coronavirus aboard a cruise ship died within six minutes of each other while holding hands last week.

Jerry and Frances Williamson, both 72, passed away on Wednesday April 1.

The Long Beach pair, who were married for over 50 years, passed away just minutes apart from each other with their hands still lovingly intertwined.

May Dave White Rest In Peace

A grieving eight-year-old girl has made a heart-warming poster to thank NHS staff after her father died of coronavirus.

Megan White, from Kent, last saw her father Dave when he was taken to hospital by ambulance on Monday March 30.

He died the following day, with the family told by telephone a short while after.

They were unable to see him while he was in hospital and now have to isolate for two weeks themselves, due to infection risks.

Hal Willner, Music Producer and Longtime 'SNL' Music Supervisor, Dead at 64

Hal Willner — the respected producer who worked with Lou Reed and Marianne Faithfull, was a long-time Saturday Night Live staffer and compiled a series of eccentric all-star tribute albums — died Monday at the age of 64. A rep for Willner confirmed the producer’s death to Rolling Stone. While a cause of death has yet to be announced, a source close to Willner tells Rolling Stone he was suffering from symptoms consistent with the coronavirus.

Willner alluded to his coronavirus diagnosis on Twitter less than two weeks ago, tweeting a map of COVID-19 outbreaks across the United States.

"I always wanted to have a number one - but not this," Willner wrote, adding that he was "in bed" on New York's Upper West Side.
