Middlesex - It is with sadness that the family of Terrence (Terry) David Naldi, announces his passing from the coronavirus on April 22, 2020, at 74 years old.

He had a keen eye for all things in nature; flowers, fish, trees, plants and birds. He loved animals, especially dogs, and was rarely without one in his home. Terry had a big personality, was articulate, and had a strong opinion about everything. He was an avid tennis player and fan, a creative cook (who left many pots and pans for others to clean), and he enjoyed crabbing with family and friends at the Jersey Shore

After a Lifetime Together, Coronavirus Takes Them Both

Across the country, reports are surfacing of long-term couples dying from Covid-19 in quick succession, redoubling the pain for those they leave behind.

For most of her life, Maranda Lender, 32, has lived with her parents in Lewisberry, Pa.

An only child, she grew up doted on by a mother and father who took her to golf lessons, soccer games and orchestra rehearsals (Maranda played the viola). After she graduated from design school, she moved back home in 2014 to save money.

But the family-of-three configuration imploded last month.

Maranda’s mother, Becky Lender, 61, died on April 4. Her father, Brad Lender, 60, died three days later. Both had tested positive for the coronavirus.

“I’m alone,” Maranda said...

60 lives, 60 days: Stories of coronavirus victims from across the U.S.

They were politicians and pastors, nurses and students, teachers and firefighters. They came from every level of society, every state, every race, every age.

Often, their loved ones had no idea how they had contracted COVID-19. But the sickness that followed hewed to a grim, familiar trajectory, one that felled grandmothers and granddaughters alike.

In the United States, public health officials initially declared Feb. 29 as the day the nightmare began, with a Washington state man in his 50s becoming the first person in the country to die of the coronavirus. (Officials later said the first U.S. deaths occurred earlier and were unreported.) Confirmed U.S. coronavirus cases surpassed 1 million the last week of April.

In just two months, the number of dead has swelled by tens of thousands, with families grieving in ways that would have seemed unthinkable just weeks ago.

Here are their stories...

They thrived on watching and playing sports and were fixtures at the local Charlie Brown's. It wasn't just the food that brought them there three to four times a week, but the ability to see all their friends and neighbors in the tight-knit community that they loved, said Charlie Mylod Jr.
