After reading various articles this morning, my hypothesis that she is in a brothel is reinforced. Her exotic looks would fetch top dollar. It is imperative for the detective to work this angle, and to work with the local Priests. They know where these brothels are, and who runs them. It's big business, and dangerous to engage with these people, but there is a chance (if she is still living), that she could be bought out of this slavery. This would require $$$, and someone very skilled at this type of a negotiation. It's a long shot, but possible, with the right negotiator.
IMO, it's useless to waste time talking to officials. This is a hostage negotiation, and requires money and skill to get her out of there.

Please everyone, pray for this girl. She needs our prayers.

I can totally see Jenny joining a protest for equality during her trip. But would she do it while being in route to meet her husband?

Has Jenny found her calling as an activists. Especially since the police made her pay $300 or whatever for the helmet debacle which she was mad at.

Or would Jenny had been smart enough to avoid the protesters in order to stay out of trouble with the police.
 
Eight people have been killed and 108 injured in clashes between teacher union members and police in Oaxaca. The roadway blockade has disrupted the transportation of goods and services, gasoline in particular. Teachers protest that they are being evaluated based on student scores. Sound familiar? This information is from a CNN report located through google.

I wonder if there have been many arrests and if perhaps Jenny was one arrested and is now in a jail somewhere without the basic rights we afford arrestees, such as a phone call.

To those who understand the Spanish language and may want to see if Jenny has been forced into becoming a escort in Mexico. Then please check the Mexican backpage.com ads. I looked but the ads are in Spanish. And the photos are too nude to stomach plus they blur some faces. But a Spanish speaker may be able to see which ones are offering asian services without clicking to see the very graphic nude photos.

I also think it is possible Jenny joined the Zapatistas women...& the report involving a Corona truck might be nothing more than a red herring...

It seems this entire couch surfing hitch hiking adventure could show Jenny as misguided...FWIW

JR seems to be running out of money to use to get her. His hasnt been funded recently either. I am confused about the $ Jenny used to pay a fine....was that their money or her separate $. I do hope and pray Jenny is found and alive. I also know if she is found alive then as a spouse I would say no, never again.
So I was thinking(and need a 10 minute nap) that it seemed the first part of travel was fairly safe and the latter part to meet in Cancun is more dangerous for non locals and even locals to travel. I wonder if she knew that before leaving. I wish she could have traveled less and safer thru Mexico and had a different meet up place.

Eye opening. Mexico travel warnings need to be heeded. I travel to the Riviera Maya area of Quintana Roo (which includes mega tourist are Cancun) , and believe me, even in that very "safe" area the police are marginal at best. They are shady, corrupt and intimidating. And the good ones are always in danger as they pose a risk to the bad ones. Ive seen machine gun toting federales on the beaches in the early am, burned out mini vans in the side of the highway, and this in the GOOD areas. I think that Jenny was hugely foolish and it cost her very dearly.

The Zapatistas are in southern Chiapas near the border with Guatemala, 400 miles southeast from the city of Oaxaca. I very much doubt Jenny ever met them, they're extremely protective of their territory and suspicious of outsiders.

Perhaps someone has become confused because she put on her facebook page photos of a rally by the CNPA-MN, an umbrella organization for Oaxacan indigenous peasants rights, that she passed on her way out of Oaxaca city. She travelled to Oaxaca partly by a bus of transient farm labourers, they weren't protesting anything.

The violence was in the small town of Nochixtlan, 50 miles northwest of the city of Oaxaca and involved a radical teachers union. However, the protests aren't really about teaching, but about government interference undermining community autonomy.

There is a great deal of tension in the region, it used to be isolated and communities were left alone to live off their land. They are fighting for their rights as self-governing indigeneous communities, I don't think they want globe-trotting outsiders joining in.

That may be a place for JR to persue if she was indeed kidnapped vs killed. I don't know if this would go with the theory of the corona driver or if the witness tried to lead him the wrong way and she is somewhere not to do with a corona driver at all.

Either the corona driver sold her, or raped and dumped her body. If it were neither, I'm sure he would have gladly provided info by now. Just an opinion of course.

Jr said 7 drivers were in the area per what Corona told him. So they must be local delivery drivers with set routes for the most part.

So why hasn't JR taken the witness description of the driver and visited all local stores and bars that sell beer to see if anyone had noticed something that day. Or atleast put up fliers.

Maybe the hacker group Anonymous can help check JRs computer to see if he is really searching or bull crapping. Jmo.
 
Since the United States owes China trillions which forced us to open up certain trade agreements with them.

Is it really that hard for them to gain residency inside the United States.

Or maybe he has to their LE vs JR's team. I don't see him saying yep, I took her, etc...if he did and lies then what? I just see it as a dead end if there was a truthful witness. Just don't know and wish I did for Jenny.

Yeah I may be naive but I do believe JR could catch up with Corona drivers and at least ask. They either have no info, won't provide any or someone will spill.. I believe this would have been cheaper and easier than attempting to hire someone for pay to investigate. Yes, language barrier but a trustworthy translator would be helpful and someone the drivers may have trusted to talked to if they have info.
