When you compare how often he talked about himself and Franz/Nikki, wes rarely talked about ally. Someone had asked him (multiple times I believe) what her favorite color is and he never bothered to answer.

What was all
y’s favorite show? Song? What was her favorite thing to eat? What was their “place”?

I’m racking my brain to try to remember one cute story that wes shared with us about a time he and ally had together, but I’m not coming up with anything. Ya know, one of *those* moments. A “had to be there moment”. One that when you tell people, they don’t really get why it’s so special/memorable, but it makes them smile seeing how happy you are when you talk about it.

He wasn't asked to contribute by the paper (we now know) due to a complaint about a previous eulogy.

By the way, you can easily show the exact time and date of any Iphone text message by uploading it into IExplorer.

Thank you for weighing in on this case, gitana1. This discussion has desperately needed a professional legal opinion. I appreciate and respect your contributions to many discussions here on Websleuths.

Shire, respectfully, my post had nothing to do with the paper. I never mentioned the paper once. I was 100% referring to wes sharing things HERE with us. Please take my posts as is, in the context I state them.

Here’s all he wrote AFAIK, briefly in his first post here. Sadly, not too much about her personality, likes, dislikes, activities before talking about himself.
[RSBM for focus]
Ally was the love of my life and my best friend! Both of us were full time students and neither of us had ever been in any trouble with the law.

Maybe Tricia can advise how to copy the posts in a separate thread.

“Ally was the love of my life and my best friend!“

immediately followed by

“Both of us were full time students and neither of us had ever been in any trouble with the law.“ (RBBM)

Huh? No one even asked ....

Wow I didn’t notice that. That’s really interesting. If I was talking about my deceased husband, declaring that we are law abiding citizens wouldn’t cross my mind.

And she was planning a trip to Florida to see an old flame. These days its not unusual for couples to even be on swinging sites. (See the Corrie Mckeague thread for an eye opener regarding such things -they were on a dating site together and separately) its not a motive for murder imo.

I understand you are trying to show “two” sides to a story here. I do.
Prove “reasonable doubt” or whatnot.

Being on a dating site is not a motive in of itself. I agree. However, your gf breaking up with you because of it and then moving out and planning to visit an old flame while you seem to believe you are getting back together and getting engaged most certainly is a motive. I’m not sure how you keep dismissing this possibility like it’s some outlandish theory.

Also, it’s seriously a stretch to compare it to them being swingers, therefore implying Ally was a willing participant in the fact that Wes trolling for other women while with her.

I didn't catch that the first time but yes, what a weird thing to say.

To be honest I don't understand anyone thinks it's no big deal to be on the receiving end of threatening emails. Even someone who wouldn't care should be able to recognize not everyone feels and reacts the same way to hostility.

I agree. The mechanism in place to deal with it needs to be effective. Eg.the alert system

It's true though and he goes on to say no drugs. As medics they would be only too aware of the scourge of drugs among young people today sadly - so something to be proud of, boast about... a really hard working young couple and a tragic wasted life...why wouldn't he be angry - I'm angry and didn't/don't even know them.

It’s odd to say. Sorry but it is. I am the same age as them and I certainly don’t boast about not being a drug user. That’s like students bragging about doing their homework. Aka what’s expected of them

And they weren’t a couple anymore according to her parents, who are not suspects in her murder.

Because I don't believe he did it. Why is that so hard to believe too?

It takes a lot before you can report it to law enforcement, and there's only so much your service provider or carrier can do. While you can block individual email addresses, if you receive barrage of harassing, anonymous emails the only option might be to change your email address.

Then why did Dad ask "are you coming home?" And Ally get snippy?

I can only speak for myself, but it’s hard to wrap my head around anyone thinking LE is lying and wes is telling the truth all the time. I made a detailed post yesterday outlining his lies and inconsistencies. You have seen wes publicly attack multiple posters, myself include, in a rage. But that seems to be a-ok, nothing to see here.

Anyway, he’s a liar. Why would a murder suspects word be considered gospel, but law enforcement is lying to cover up some nonexistent conspiracy?

As judge Judy says - if it doesn’t make sense, it’s because it isn’t true.

Franz is not a suspect in ally’s murder and we are not allowed to discuss him as if he is, no matter how thinly veiled the accusations are.

I've been following the Mollie Tibbetts case (moving at light speed and already on thread #9 after just 2 weeks) so I had come back here and catch up. Interesting posts, but it is sad that there have not been any real developments. I'm at the point where I believe a substantial tip is going to be what is needed. Something like the killer getting drunk or on drugs and reveals what he did to someone close to him. It may have already happened and the person is either too scared or too close to the killer to call it in. I just believe LE has so little evidence at this point.

BBM. Remember, this is the man who hasn't spoken to her for fifteen years, according to Wes.

Shire. Respectfully, Let’s agree to completely disagree and not engage in one another’s posts. Ciao.

I respect that you don’t believe so.
I truly hope that the person who gunned down that sweet girl wasn’t someone she knew and thought loved her.

I followed this thread and watched him tell untruths, half truths, attack strangers on the internet and eventually lose all control here.
So its hard to view him as a victim after all I’ve seen and read, and it surprises me that you still do. That’s all.

Hope you don’t think I’m attacking you. Im definitely not.
