Just a guess, Spellbound. Based on the wording LE used in one of the interviews. Recently tossed was more hopefull on my part. Though, if the wig was found there may be hair to help determine if this belonged to Chelsea.
Learned, I was hopeful. It is possible, if the top was found maybe the wig was also and they don't want us to know yet. I think a lot may be gotten from both of those items.
I didn't get to watch the NG show, but have it set to tape at 2 am, will try to watch in the morning. I did see her talking on the phone with news reporter from WWWJ. I missed most of Big Mike. Nothing really new, though.p, from what I could tell. At least it is more exposure for us.
So now we wait..... ugh!
Unfortunately, the Michigan State Crime Lab is notorious for taking a very long time to process evidence. I hope Monroe LE has labeled their evidence as "urgent" so that DNA testing will be given the highest priority. The case cannot move forward until there's confirmation that the items found were Chelsea's, and maybe other DNA will be found on the items, as well.
I have been following this thread and was shocked at what I saw when I clicked on the missing persons thread for Makayla McLaughlin from Lenaway county. I'm not sure how far this is from the area that Chelsea disappeared from but man oh man! Does anyone else see a resemblance!? They found this guy with Makayla in Georgia. I sure hope they ask him a few questions about this case.... View attachment 72598View attachment 72600
Wow...that's not far at all!Lenawee County to Monroe County: @ 35-40 miles, but would depend just where in each county you were going. It is at least a 50 minute drive if traffic is light.
From all reports I have read, I believe the items/clothing were found in the fields near the building, not inside. I am not positive about that, tho. But getting DNA is not impossible, even after our winter.
Or if he knows anything about the tip that led to where these items were found related to Chelsea's disappearance?

The tip probably came from kids playing in the area, and maybe reported what they found or saw.
I imagine the tip will be a tough guess for obvious reasons, until trial, but I have no specific reason to believe it.
